DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND
=================================================

Description:

Vittorio has a lean and wiry build which gives him a somewhat gaunt and gangly appearance which is only further exaggerated by the fact that he stands a whole head above 6' tall. His high cheekbones, narrow face and the hawk-like nose typical of Chelish nobles do little to dissuade this impression of gauntness. His pale skin is the colour of week-old paper, and contrasted by a half-dozen tiny white scars across his right cheek and the faintest dusting of tan freckles across the left and his hands. His green eyes are bright, and seem to almost sparkle with a mischief that is mirrored in his slightly wry half-smile on the right side. His hair is a dark chestnut with a slightly reddish undertone visible only in the sun with a few strands of silver that are in marked contrast to his youthful face and bright eyes. He wears his hair a respectful medium length, stopping before his shoulders, though its thickness and the natural wave makes it appear somewhat unkempt. His clothing is clearly expensive and well-tailored, though slightly faded and a mite threadbare in places.

Apologies for the point-form History. Couldn't work it into a full narrative in the limited timeframe.

History:

Born Vittorio Rasdovian, to a lesser member of the lesser house.
Orian, his father, was the third son of a fifth son, good enough to have the House's name but no real power.
However, Orian was a shrewd businessman and used his name and meager inheritance to build a shipping business, such that he was richer than most of his House.
Vittorio, like his father, was the third son (fourth child).
As a third son, Vittorio was educated but had little expectation placed on him. Bright enough, but more interested in martial study than anything else.
As such, he spent a lot of time with family retainers, bonding with Parinus Mercedia, the son of Orian's bodyguard.
After a few stillbirths/miscarriages, his mother, Terpsia, died in childbirth when Vittorio was 10, though giving birth to his younger sister Dulcia.
Sad time, but the family held together. Orian married a distant cousin (Sorexa), mostly to "give his children a mother".

Sorexa was originally a warm and loving maternal figure -- showering the younger children with affection -- for about a year (when Orian felt comfortable enough to travel with his ships), when she turned cold toward the children, leaving Vittorio to feel that he'd failed her or upset her somehow, unable to understand what he'd done.
From that point on, Sorexa only had any time for Dulcia, who was basically a living doll (as she was the only mother the poor girl ever knew)
When Massimo was born, Sorexa gave up any pretext of caring for Vittorio or the older children. She arranged a marriage for Alessandra -- and acted surprised when it resulted in her being shipped off to Korvosa.
She began carefully replacing the household staff and retainers.
Orian died in his sleep, apparently of a heart attack.
Sorexa's purge of loyal staff and retainers peaked, with almost all of Vittorio's father's favourites replaced.
Abaddio took over the family business, especially reaching out to father's various trading partners to protect the business (and thus, travelled a great deal).
Leandro turned to his cups when his father died, and there were whispers of him having embarrassed the family (falling in love with an actress at the Opera -- and possibly impregnating her). He was slain in a duel by the son of one of the actress' patrons (a scion of a more noble and richer house).
Abaddio died when the Seaskimmer was lost 8 months later, leaving Vittorio alone with his little sister, stepmother and half-brother.
Sorexa (at least when Dulcia was not around) didn't even pretend to be upset or offer any sympathy...
Vittorio, upset at the news (or, moreso, his stepmother's attitude to it) started an argument with Sorexa, where he accused her of arranging their deaths... the argument became heated -- and unleashed Vittorio's Bloodrage for the first time
Sorexa ran from her young stepson, running to Dulcia's chamber and using the girl as a human shield -- shocking Vittorio out of the rage. Shamed by the look on his little sister's face, Vittorio fled the family compound to try to figure out what was happening to him
Even as Vittorio was adjusting to the news of Abaddio's death, the realization that he was now his father's heir, and the strange power within him... Sorexa "found" a journal of Terpsia's, which indicated that Vittorio was the result of a dalliance outside the marriage (an affair with a commoner, of course, because the weakness ran in the family -- an Ulfen sailor, explaining his height, reddish colouring, and, of course, a rage that no "true" Chelish Scion would materialize).
With the journal as pretext, Sorexa had Vittorio "tested" -- which is when the strangeness of his blood and the bizarre magic within it were discovered -- these made it "clear" that he could not be a trueborn scion of his father, as the Rasdovian were known to be a pure bloodline.
Based on the evidence (and a few bribes) Vittorio was cast out and stripped of his name Rasdovian.
Having nowhere to go and feeling completely lost, he wandered from tavern to tavern, gambling for money to drink and making no decisions
Luckily, he found himself waking up in Zoe's bedchamber
Zoe arranged for him to start working as a House Guard for one of her own employer's cousins.
It was a good time for Vittorio, one that allowed him to fall back on his joy for swordplay... and to learn to control the strange power within him.
Back on his feet (at least, mostly) and feeling fully in control of himself, Vittorio rashly forced his way into his familial home to confront Sorexa
This time, Sorexa didn't hide, instead she threaten to sell Dulcia into an arranged marriage of pain and misery, smashing a goblet against his face and having him arrested.
Note to Treppa: Feel free to pick what noble of which house that would be, though I'm rather envisioning an obvious and bestial Tiefling.
Zoe convinced her employer to intervene (preventing the arrest), and explained to him that he could not stand against Sorexa (especially given the disproportionate amount of power she seemed to have, in addition to the wealth of his own family).

Vittorio gave himself his new name that day, and has been seeking ways to get himself the fame, wealth and power that would allow him to save his sister
Based on the dark rumours, started suspecting his Sorexa of being part of the Council of Thieves -- However, wanting to build status/fame/power within the system, Vittorio didn't get involved or join the Bastards -- and lucky to not have done so, given what happened to Parinus.
Been trying to save enough coin for a dowry that would (with Zoe's help) allow him to arrange a marriage for Dulcia that would get her sent out of Westcrown

TRAITS

Armour Expert (Combat) You have worn armor as long as you can remember, either as part of your training to become a knight's squire or simply because you were seeking to emulate a hero. When you wear armor of any sort, reduce that suit's armor check penalty by 1, to a minimum check penalty of 0.

Conspiracy Hunter (Campaign) You’ve long heard rumors of dark deeds afoot in Westcrown. Shipments of valuable cargo that go missing with nary a trace or question asked. People who disappear as though they never existed. Lords of business and nobles who speak in veiled references and accidental slips of masters even they must obey. What lords rule the Westcrown underworld? Do the tales of far-reaching criminal organizations hold a hint of truth? Could the fabled Council of Thieves, said to have been purged from the city ages ago, have somehow survived or reformed? And what hold do they hold over the city today? You don’t know, but you’re determined to find out! You gain a +1 trait bonus on Stealth and it is always considered a class skill for you.

Skilled Humans gain an additional skill rank at first level and one additional rank whenever they gain a level.

SPELLS (Bloodrager - CL1 - Daily: -/-/-/-)

=================================================
SPECIAL ABILITIES
=================================================
Bloodrage (Su) (ooooo o)
You can call upon inner reserves of strength and ferocity, granting you additional combat prowess. You have a source of internal power somewhere in your heritage that grants you the ability to bloodrage. You can bloodrage for 6 rounds per day. The total number of rounds of bloodrage per day is renewed after resting for 8 hours, although these hours need not be consecutive. You can enter a bloodrage as a free action. While in a bloodrage, you gain a +4 morale bonus to your Strength and a +4 morale bonus to your Constitution, as well as a +2 morale bonus on Will saving throws. In addition, you take a -2 penalty to Armor Class. The increase to Constitution grants you 2 hit points, but these disappear when the bloodrage ends and are not lost first like temporary hit points. While in bloodrage, you cannot use any Charisma-, Dexterity-, or Intelligence-based skills (except Acrobatics, Fly, Intimidate, and Ride) or any ability that requires patience or concentration. You can end your bloodrage as a free action. When the bloodrage ends, you are fatigued for a number of rounds equal to twice the number of rounds spent in the bloodrage. You cannot enter a new bloodrage while fatigued or exhausted, but otherwise can enter bloodrage multiple times during a single encounter or combat. If you fall unconscious, your bloodrage immediately ends, placing you in peril of death. Bloodrage counts as the barbarian's rage class feature for the purpose of feat prerequisites, feat abilities, magic item abilities, and spell effects. The spell must have a range of touch or personal. If the spell's duration is greater than 1 round, it instead lasts for the duration of the bloodrage. This use consumes a bloodrager spell slot, as if you cast the spell; you must have the spell slot available to take advantage of this effect.
  • Controlled Bloodrage When an urban bloodrager rages, she does not gain the normal benefits. Instead, she can apply a +4 morale bonus to her Constitution, Dexterity, or Strength. This bonus increases to +6 when she gains greater bloodrage and to +8 when she gains mighty bloodrage. She can apply the full bonus to one ability score or split the bonus between several scores in increments of 2. When using a controlled bloodrage, an urban bloodrager gains no bonus on Will saves, takes no penalties to AC, and can still use Charisma-, Dexterity-, and Intelligence-based skills. A controlled bloodrage still counts as a bloodrage for the purposes of any spells, feats, and other effects. This ability alters bloodrage.

    Bloodline (Destined)
    Each bloodrager has a source of magic somewhere in his heritage that empowers his bloodrages, bonus feats, and bonus spells. Sometimes this source ref lects a distant blood relationship to a powerful being, or is due to an extreme event involving such a creature somewhere in his family’s past. Regardless of the source, this inf luence manifests in a number of ways. A bloodrager must pick one bloodline upon taking his first level of bloodrager. Once made, this choice cannot be changed.

    Your bloodline is destined for great things and grants the following powers.

  • Destined Strike (Sp) As a free action, you can grant one of your melee attacks a +1 insight bonus. You may use this ability up to 3 times per day.

    Fast Movement (Ex)
    Your land speed is faster than the norm for your race by 10 feet. Your land speed is faster than the norm for your race by 10 feet. This benefit applies only when you are wearing no armor, light armor, or medium armor, and not carrying a heavy load. This bonus stacks with any other bonus to your land speed.
