I will be coordinating, likely the first, play-by-post run PFS special here on the Paizo message boards – Siege of the Diamond City.
From the blurb:
After a recent discovery of a lost city in the heart of the demon-infested Worldwound, Pathfinder agents from around the world flock to Nerosyan, capital of the crusader nation of Mendev, to prepare for the coming adventure. When the city falls under attack, however, everyone within its walls must take up arms to defend against the Abyssal hordes. Do the Pathfinders have what it takes to hold back the demonic onslaught, or will their souls be among the first to be consumed when the Diamond of the North falls?
Designed to be run as an epic, multi-table event in which the actions of each table has the potential to turn the tide of battle, Siege of the Diamond City sets a new standard of interactivity for the fan-favorite convention special format.
As this is intended to be a timed event and the PFS leadership has showed concerns about losing the sensation of real life time pressure in a PBP format, this game will feature an aggressive time table. We’re planning to start February 7th and finish within 2-3 weeks. In addition, many of the events are meant to function in sync across all the tables involved. Due to this aggressive pacing and need for heavy coordination, I’m looking at the smallest special I can muster – five tables of four players each.
Of the 20 player slots, I'm not certain how many are open still but if you're interested in participating, please state your interest here. Make sure you include info on what character you'll be playing and your timezone. Putting like timezone players with DMs will optimize the amount of effective playtime people will get. Remember, this is a timed event. If you can't do more than one post per day comfortably, this event is not for you.
This special covers characters of all level ranges. If you're interested in participating and you're not a PFS regular, you can stat up a fresh level one character or play a pregen.

@Deane: I will do everything in my power to shake Gregor lose by the 7th. And now that Feral knows he's in my PbP, he'll hound me about it!
Thanks...I've also got to hurry a group along for GM credit in order to get him to 9th...otherwise he may just have to sit pretty at 8th level. And even if we don't finish I have quite a diverse stable of characters who would relish the opportunity for a decent siege! (Depending upon which side of the wall they're on, of course!)

Is this still open? I can help to fill tables.
Have GMed this at an event.
Have a wide range of characters. (Tell me which table needs to be filled and I'll fill it. Character may not be what the table needs or want though. Can pull up a pregen if needed.)
Can post multiple times on weekdays but slower to maybe one on weekends.
GMT+8

Having finished Icebound Outpost with Tek, I'm now ready to change Terrill's status from a strong maybe to an almost definite probably. He's just hit 4th level, and is ready to defend the Diamond City.
From a strategic standpoint during the siege, you can expect to find him standing right behind Oladon.

I'm going to assemble tables sometime tomorrow. I'd like everyone to reference the sign up sheet linked at the top of this page and make sure I have your timezone and the character you'd like to play the most recorded. I'll be assembling tables by level ranges first and timezone second. Also, please note if your posting times are outside normal expectations (you work nights for example).
If I don't get a timezone from you, I'll assume it's because you're flexible and available to post at anytime time.
