Definitely... I'm always a fan of recruiting good PLAYERS before good CHARACTERS. :)

Character creation rules:
- 20 points buy OR roll 6d20 (you can choose after you rolled the dice)
- 3000 gp to spend
- no evil characters
- whatever race you want
- whatever class you want (if you don't mind if I ask questions if the class is rare)
- I would suggest building a level 1 PFS legal character and leveling it as if it had 6 XP

I need to read the module first, so I'm going to start on monday or tuesday.

The actual gameplay will take place in the gameplay thread in this campaign. I will post a link as soon as I set it up.

Ok, one more question: crafting non-magical items, is that cool? As in, if I take Craft(Alchemy), can I make myself alchemical items to use in combat (for 1/3 cost, as normal)?

Hi Baerlie! Would be posible to join directly with a level 3 PFS character? I think this one is aproved for PFS play

We're actually playing this one non-PFS, because two of our pre-approved players only have level 1 characters. So you can definitely use a level 3 PFS-approved character, but you can't get credit for it. There are very few modules that you can play in "campaign mode", and this is not one of them.

Well, it's definitely sanctioned, chronicle here, and can be assigned to a PFS character same as if you play a pregen.

But I understand and respect you don't want to go the sanctioned way.

I'm still trying to figure out what to play. I made a half orc scarred witch doctor, but I'm not so sure about it.

I'll play with some ideas tomorrow and confirm before I leave work.

Baerlie, we have all four of our group checked in here now, so if you'd like to open up recruitment to one or two others, that'd be fine.

To those who might join us on our quest: We're looking here for excellent players first, people who will post often and roleplay well. Secondary to that is your ability to create a fun and not-completely useless character. Complementing the party won't be a huge deal, since we have a Bard, a Witch, a Magus, and a Hunter already, they cover most of the traditional party roles pretty well.

Looking forward to starting this one!! :-D

I will gladly join, an old friend of bearli. Sooo let me have a thought or two. roll 6d20? Or do you mean 20d6? I mean with a d20 you might get a 1 or 2 and that would be rather difficult to play... And deadly to boot.

And you are right Helikon, 3d6 for each attribute makes more sense. So please forget about the d20 and roll 3d6 ;)

After a bit of thinking... I will stay dwarf... but go for a synthesist summoner. Something I always thought of why everyone cries foul, let see for real.

Ooh, that's a great party complement anyway! Now we have a full arcane caster (Witchrager), a nature-themed ranged combatant (Hunter), a buffer/out-of-combat healer (Bard), a striker (whip magus) and a tank (Synthesist). This should be a really well-rounded party as it is right now... we probably don't even need to recruit another person. What do the rest of you think on that?
