Gargamal looks the female elf over. The smell of spring floats on the air about her, and a smile come to the half-elf's lips.

Elven:

Greetings to you - the smell of the woods is still strong on you. This is the bow Thaas, retrieved from the primal plane to help us against the evil of Lloth. I am Gargamal, ranger and warrior. Who might you be?

Taurven turns toward the voice speaking in elven. The familiar language brings a smile to his lips, but a life of danger settles his hand to sword hilt. Taurven's eyes quickly size up the speaker, then scan the crowd. if this is to be an attack, surely this woman did not come alone.

Eamch watches the elven exchange with interest. While he doesn't understand the elven language, he does understand the language of love. He smiles and nods knowingly at Gargamel. Previously he'd thought it would be in bad taste to try and get lucky during a mission with such high gravity, but now that Gargamel has shown otherwise, Eamch's eye wander towards some of the otherwordly females with a new interest.

Adelaide started up an introduction in elvish, but cut herself short with another look to the human. She didn't want to be rude, especially when the other half-elf was eyeing her up a little warily.

"I am just coming from the forest. Always I am there when able. I am being called Aduialaedrassil Glirgalad but am most called Adelaide Brightsong," she said with a smile.

With simple things like her name out of the way, she unleashed a torrent of words in explanation of how she arrived. She explained the adventuring group she'd been travelling with, the wizard and the mishap with the portal, and that she expected she'd not ended up where the others had, but now that she is here she'd like to travel these unfamiliar lands. Though she starts the tale in Common, it's not long before Elvish is seasoned in to it, and by the end there's no Common left at all.

"Oh but I am speak only of me. Please, tell me of you. How do you and your comrades come to find Thaas? And such exotic place it was! You seek to do battle with Lloth? Such braveness!" Adelaide's eye gleamed with curiosity. She did love a good story, and it seemed this lot had several.

Human Hero Killer1 / Holy Assassin1 / Deceiver2

Maybe Taurven had a glimpse of the future, and while hearing the elf explanation, he keeps looking at the crowd around scanning for enemies.
And it doesn’t take much until he saw a group of demons walking on the same general direction of the party, and took even less until he heard the demon yell.

”Perfect! All the four are together! Kill them all! Don’t let they escape!” the big demon with four arms yells and all the others following him prepare for battle.
It’s clear that you are the target, and clearer is that they are mistaking Adelaide by Karla, since they want to kill the ‘four’ of you.

A large four-armed bat-winged demon with a canine maw and green-skin, each pair of hands holding a great axe seems to be the leader of the demon party.

The street fills with green-yellow gas, obscuring the walls and sky. You hear roaring to both sides of the street and the clash of metal. Huge, hulking creatures with tridents rush through the gas toward you.
A grating voice snarls, “Your heads are worth a small fortune. My fortune.”

"Heh! Demon bounty hunters." With his checkered past, Taurven is no stranger to bounty hunters, just never demon ones before.

Taurven pulls a flask of holy water out of his handy haversack, that wondrous item knowing that it was exactly what he wanted.
"Let's see how they like the holy juice!"
Not having a clear shot around the corner, Taurven moves a bit to his right.

Human Hero Killer1 / Holy Assassin1 / Deceiver2

The three Mezzoloths moves closer to the party, Tridents ready to attack, while yelling something in their foul language. The one closer on the left, are able to get into position and attack Garmagal.

Atk: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 17
Dmg: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
Atk: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (13) + 10 = 23
Dmg: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6

But only one of them is able to hit, the trident piecing the archer shoulder, barely hurting at all.
Garmagal takes 6 damage.

The bigger demon, the one calling the shots, with the four arms and two great axes, the one on top of the warehouse, laughing and claiming your hears are his fortune, don’t engage melee combat immediately, instead, the takes flight scooping just outside the heroes range while attacking with his deadly axe.
Using Flyby feat, he is flying just outside melee range.
Atk: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (6) + 21 = 27
Dmg: 3d6 + 9 ⇒ (4, 2, 6) + 9 = 21

His target is the newcomer, the elf woman that was unfortunate enough to be closer to you.
The axe sunk deep into the woman’s chest, cutting her darkleaf armor as if the protection wasn’t even there.
Adelaide takes 21 damage.

You may all post your actions. More your token accordingly on the map when you you’re your character. The D’s on the map are some Dabus, which I’ll describe their action later. Taurven, you may post your round two action as well.

At Taurven's comment about them being bounty hunters, Eamch huffs. Eamch too has had some experience with bounty hunters but has never been impressed. Maybe they'll surprise him and be effective, but probably not. He sizes up the one that struck Gargamel and then flings razor sharp shurikens at him.

Exploit Weakness, 1d20 + 5 + 10 ⇒ (12) + 5 + 10 = 27 vs. DC 10+CR. If successful, Eamch gets +2 on attack rolls and ignores DR. Rolls below assume success.

Here is an odd question, Thaas is a bane to chaotic AND evil outsiders...so does that give it a +4 to hit and 4d6 extra damage. Also, as it is bane to these creatures, does the damage bypass DR?

Human Hero Killer1 / Holy Assassin1 / Deceiver2

”They are easy prey! Kill them all!” the large demon bellows happy that his hunting target seems to be lost and unable to answer the attack.

And while the party still thinks of what to do, Thaas begins to hum as if answering the demon’s challenge! Would the adventures not use the demon hunting bow while fighting demons?
So, are you guys wanting for any other information from me?

[ooc]I had asked about the bonus's in using Thaas, as I have not yet attuned to the bow. Is it just a +3 weapon with no other abilities at the moment? I do intend to use the bow and attune to it."[/b]

Taking up his bow, Gargamal takes aim at one of the Mezzoloths and fires 2 arrows.

Attack-ranged: 1d20 + 15 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 15 + 2 = 23
Damage: 1d8 + 9 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 9 + 2 = 15

Attack-ranged: 1d20 + 10 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 10 + 2 = 23
Damage: 1d8 + 9 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 9 + 2 = 12

Note: Planar bow negated the first 5 points of DR. Also with cluster shot, all damage is added before DR is removed.

Taurven steps back, then hurls the flask of holy water at the nearest demon.

Holy water(ranged touch attack): 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (15) + 14 = 29 Favored enemy: Evil outsiders (+2)

damage: 2d4 ⇒ (3, 4) = 7

Adelaide cried out in surprise and pain as the axe cleaved through her skin and muscle. She quickly goes on the defensive, seeming to almost curl up on herself before she simply seems to be shrinking. By the the time she's done she has, in fact, shrunk right down into the form of a small hawk. She quickly darts up and away into the sky just out of melee range.

"Watch in your rearhind!" she calls to the others now that she's no longer between them and the big guy.

Using wild shape (standard action, doesn't provoke) to turn into a tiny hawk (60ft fly speed, +3 natural armor, +4 to Dex, -2 to Str, +2 size bonus to hit and AC), then flying 20-30 feet up, and adjusting herself to be above the roofs and a little closer to the others.

Current AC: 22
Current Reflex Save: +11
