Well skills will affect everyone, and doesn't magic get a rehaul? And there's the whole new combat/move system.

Yeah there's all kinds of s&~& for everyone. New action economy, new iterative attack system, Stamina system, scaling magic items, and multiple new skill systems. I like what I've heard about the background skill system.

We might have to have a Skype chat when everything comes out.

So any thoughts on bringing in Unchained? I'm in favor of the background skills system.

I would be fine with bringing in the background skills. I mean we already did in Tarik's campaign so that's no big deal.

Everyone go ahead and put in your background skills then. Same houserule as Tarik's campaign; everyone can put regular skill points into background skills but not vice versa.

Separate ruling on wands. In the interest of not clogging up the thread, the Cure wands can be abstracted. Just roll once, it's a nat 1 then no healing happens, and you can try again in the usual 24 hours. If it's not nat 1 then subtract however many charges you plan to use and roll appropriately.

Someone else may tried a locked wand. If Anya gets a Nat 1, she can't roll again for 24 hrs. Val can pick up the wand and try it out. If she gets a Nat 1 then the sentient die roller gods have spoken and I defer to their judgement.

Ordinarily I wouldn't threaten squares with a ranged weapon, but I did pick up Snap Shot which gives me a 5ft threat range with ranged weapons (and the ranged AOOs don't provoke AOOs themself)

I meant for the other guy. I intend on getting the hell out of this grapple before chuckles the demon decides to pin me or something. (I'll be provoking a ranged attack in meele aoo if it wasn't clear)

Her HP is quite low. If she can't finish off the demon then It will kill her more than likely. The problem is that you have your own demon to worry about.

I can delay the demon if anyone wants. Targetted shot to the legs can cover that for a bit anyway.

Otherwise I'm getting the hell out of my grapple.

FYI Val you can't do a move action and a 5ft step. You'll need to acro out of threat or suck an AOO if you want to reach Anya.

Would it be considered meta to know that the demons are basically no threat at this point due to having a summon duration measured in rounds and their last orders being to take us alive? Not sure if the worldliness of being lvl 9 beats no ranks in know arcana/spellcraft.

While that is true, they might try to knock us to unconscious first. I don't know how they will respond if we just stop attacking though.

Anya would know about how long summons last and, that if you lot stopped attacking, you'd look really stupid as the Babaus beat you senseless. They are basically automatons at this point: mindlessly following their last instructions to the letter, unable to change their tactics.
