Sorry guys, anniversary weekend with the wife! She surprised me with a getaway. wow.. This is a lot to catch up on...

Eladrian goes with to grab metal from the goblins, and shoves several weapons into his pack before heading down.

When offered the grub, Eladrian makes polite excuses, and declines.

Auto succeed at Perception check
Feeling his weapons lift up, Eladrian takes a careful step back from the door. "Torrag, I think that you are right.. and it is very strong. We should be careful of going in there!"
Heeding Slaagh, Eladrian dumps out his bag of weapons from the goblin level and kicks the items over towards the door.

Scarab Sages

"Give iron-metal to Godbox"

As Eladrian starts kicking in items towards the door they slowly starts to tremble and slowly start to move across the doorway where they pick up speed and one after another get stuck to the pillar in the center of the room

Unsure of how many weapons Eladrian brought, so just going to assume it's atleast 10 pounds of metal

After Eladrian has emptied his bag and all of the metal items got stuck to the pillar Slaagh slowly nods his head and turns towards you

"Godbox content with offering, door down is open now. You can continue explore down if want"

Scarab Sages

Since this is a pretty odd module fitted into PFS legal format..if you want you can finish this level now, for reduced chronicle rewards as you've cleared passage for this level to the next

Scarab Sages

Male Nagaji (inactive) Sorcerer

Woo! That was easy! Would we just get the one credit for carrying on for the next level or actually level up? Which would seem a bit odd, considering how easy it was to get through this one.

well I would like to get the full reward and not like almost no gold. I have an idea of what to do from things I've heard but I really want full gold.

Scarab Sages

Basically it will be 1/3 of what you could get in total..so what you would get for a "normal" PFS scenario (if you failed your second objective) - with no risk what so ever. 1xp, 1 prestige and 1600 gp.

The only reason I'd need to stop here is if we were able to buy an extra plot of land after this module, other than that, I'm prepared for the next level.

You can buy a plot of land if you stop now, it's a boon on the chronicle, on all the chronicles actually

That's kind of the point right now...how do your characters know there's anything to do here other then moving to the next level?. I just though it was fair to let you know that you could go on to the next level for reduced rewards right now, and only reduced as compared to a whole module, if you look at the gp ratio per xp/prestige it's still on the same line. As opposed to telling you you can go down now, you go down and then get upset when you only get 1 XP instead of 3 (for almost no effort btw). Told you this was an odd adventure...

Slaagh looks at you "So you move on deeper down now? Godbox happy with your offerings. You can go now"

In the center of each face of the hexagonal object is a vertical slot about three inches wide and close to seven feet tall.

There are nearly 150 items stuck to the Godbox. These include the following;

Weapons: Battleaxes (2), daggers (12, including a masterwork cold iron dagger), greatswords (2, including a magical greatsword), heavy mace (1), light maces (3), light hammers (2), short swords (4), starknives (2), throwing axes (3), warhammers (3).

Reading back through, you said on the first page that the doors themselves glow, and no one investigated that..

Moving away from the godbox, Eladrian checks out the glowing doors.
taking 20 for 30

Scarab Sages

As Eladrian has a "bright" yes, bad pun intended idea, he moves out of the room (and puts his gear back on I assume?) and goes to check out the glowing door he'd encountered when entering this level.

The doors are made of a strange, copper-colored alloy. Two large hinge pins are part of the casting, and they rest within sockets anchored
into the stone doorways.
You estimate the doors to weight about a 1000 pounds each (and are about 7 ft tall). You also count 6 total similar doors in the area you've been through.

Just to clarify, I meant nothing in the room that seemed like a good fit, but good catch on the doors

"The doors are probably a non-magnetic metal so they are not attracted to the Godbox. Are we ready to go downstairs?"

Gunnar grips his hammer firmly with both hands.

Alright let's give it a try...

Scarab Sages

The light sources are made from a different metal then the doors.

Light color isn't described anywhere, so let's assume it's a different color

With some effort Novid, Eladrian and Gunnar working together are able to move one of the heavy doors.

The troglodyte following you seems a bit surprised at what you are doing but since he's friendly to you right now due to some nice diplomacy checks you made doesn't try to stop you.

You drag the door till it's in front of the room with the Godbox and you start to feel the gently pulling on your metal items before you put it down. You do notice that the door itself isn't getting pulled forward.

I'm assuming at least those 3 carrying the door would strip of all their metal items before moving inside the room..but I prefer some confirmation of that assumption before you walk anywhere unarmed/with out armor

Scarab Sages

Male Nagaji (inactive) Sorcerer

"It looks like the glowing door is no more than a well made one. Should we proceed downstairs now?"

How strong is the force of the pull? If they are safely stowed on out person do we need to worry? And does it pull all metal or just non magic metal?

"I would like to see what happens when all of these are in place." Novid says.

Sorry i really want the full reward for this level otherwise its kinda a waste as we only get to play it once in PFS.

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Elf Slayer/9 70/70 HP] [AC: 22 T: 14 FF: 19 (+2 Dodge vs traps)] [Perc +15 {+19 vs trap}] [F+8/R+10/W+5 {+2 vs Enchantment, +2 Reflex vs Traps}] [CMB +13] [CMD 27] [SP 30FT] [INIT +9]

Yes, Eladrian would have removed his stuff. Since it is only taking three of us to move a door, may I recommend that only the three of us remove our armor just in case things get rowdy? The rest of us can stash our arms someplace handy and reinforce the others, should things go south.

Scarab Sages

At the door there's a slight pull, which lifts (doesn't specify, but makes sense that only magnetic metals are effected) all metal objects not held down up. You didn't try to move in further with metals so you only know that what ever metal you tossed in picked up speed when it got closer to the center of the room so at this point you have no proof that you need to worry about carrying metal inside with you or not

Scarab Sages

Since I've heard nothing else, I'll move forward with Eladrian's recommendation

After putting down the door Novid, Eladrian en Gunnar strip of anything of metal they are carrying and give it to Ss'alath and Torrag for safe keeping.

They then pick up the door and carry it inside.

The Troglodyte watching you is excited "Big offering to Godbox!"

As you move towards the center of the room you notice that there is no pull on the door at all. You approach the pillar in the center of the room and having no indication if there is an order of which door to place where you just insert it into the closest slot.

The door panel seems like an exact fit for the slot in the side of the device. It clicks into place and a strange, high-pitched humming begins to emanate from deep within the machine.

Scarab Sages

@Ss'alat; You and Torrag (are as far as I know) still standing in the doorway between D5 and D4, with all the metal gear of the others

Assuming nobody objects, going forward with gathering another door

As Novid, Eladrian and Gunnar go for a second door you notice more Troglodytes showing up to watch the great offering to the Godbox taking place.

The next door inserted into the device lowers the tone of the Godbox’s
humming and slightly increases its volume.

More troglodytes show up and hop around excited and you can hear even more troglodytes arriving from around the complex.
