Knowledge local is the best way to know about hard knowledge but they aren't obscure. You can make assumptions that are reasonable but without a hard roll you run the risk of not getting solid information but as well potentially misidentifying it's traits... there are different strains of really classic monsters like werewolf and vampires after all! It'd suck to go hunting werewolves loaded down with silver only to discover you should have brought golden bashing weapons!

We should keep the goggles of minute seeing and the fire elemental gem. Amadeen volunteers for the latter if no one else wants the job. The noqual we really ought to make into armour for someone, I think this got discussed before.

There is none, assume you can get to it with a charge action.

So does anyone have any issue with Amadeen taking the ring of sustenance? It's pretty handy for a caster.

Also, the loot sheet is in the trash. I've made a copy, though I think we might not have added the last few acquisitions!

If we don’t want to deal with the loot sheet, why not do automatic bonus progression? Kevin just needs to drop interesting and unique loot. And we assume all lesser loot (like the plethora of +1 weapons we will inevitably stumble across) go into the kingdom armory.


I'm not a huge fan of it but if a majority of the players want to go that way I can accommodate.

So ABP would replace the +1 on his Buckler and Armor. His sword is not affected. So...

Eluvias’ AC goes down by 1. He gains +1 to all Saves.

Will use the 2k gold that would have gone onto my armor to instead put Returning onto a javelin. Eluvias will now have a Ranged option that does 1d6+level in damage. Nothing to write home about, but better than nothing. And he won’t be useless against enemies immune to slashing

It makes the most sense to me.

ABP replaces +1 weapons, armor, cloaks and rings.

So it makes the most sense to just tranisition the cost to something else in as smooth a way as possible

But ABP also cuts gold in half, doesn't it? I mean, I'm not complaining AT ALL if we're selling for 100%, I just want to be sure I'm doing it correctly.

Ok. WBL for lvl 4 is 6000 gold. 1/2 goes to ABP (+1 Weapon, +1 Armor, +1 Cloak)

I have an amulet of natural armor (2000 gold) and put returning on my javelin (2000 gold). That’s 1k too much. He also has about 1k gold saved up. So without returning he is almost at WBL.

As such...dropping Returning and that puts me just about where I should be.

And because I can’t get returning, for my ABP Weapon I’m going with a Cestus. So Eluvias will use his Black Blade to fight. But if he ever can’t use it for whatever reason, he has a backup. That, and he can now do slashing, piercing and bludgeoning damage. So no more repeat of the ooze fight where he was completley helpeless.

Good catch! Thanks for pointing that out. Forgot about that. Natural armor bonuses come at lvl8...gives me 2-3k gold to work with.

Will drop my amulet as well (another -1 AC). Picking up a wayfinder with a cracked orange prism ioun stone (+1 lvl0 Spell: Grasp)

As for what the Wayfinder does...

Casts the spell Storm of Blades. Because it is a cool spell for a Magus to have.


How about you guys can take half the level 6 wealth to rebuild your gear since you are almost there anyway? I'm not necessarily going with this but it's an idea. I'm open to suggestions.

Spellguard Bracers: 5000 (The bracers grant the wearer a +2 bonus on concentration checks made to cast defensively. Three times per day, the wearer can choose to roll a concentration check to cast defensively twice and take the better result)
Muleback Cords: 1000 (FINALLY get to use these. Loved the idea but they could never compete with cloak of resistance)

Subject to Kevin's final decision on the matter... A level 6 PC has 16,000gp, so half of that would be 8,000gp.

Some GMs also impose rules such as "No more than 25% of total wealth on any one item" or some such.
