As he readied to counterattack he honorably withheld striking while the man spoke to his subordinate. Hearing them talk about a runner though made him tense up, as the whole point of this duel was to avoid casualties or pointless deaths.

Diplomacy1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25

He spoke plainly and honestly, thus far the wounded warrior hadn't struck him as dishonest. Which was surprising because of who this city served and it also caused him to wonder if they could be swayed still to not interfere. "It's likely they are in that warehouse, as I said already I don't want harm to befall this town. But we have a mission to complete and the sooner it is done the sooner we leave. Besides if you send a runner then this duel is for naught."

"Now I kind'a wish I din't need ta' lighten me load ta' squeeze and shimmy down tha' chimney pipe..." She mutters.

We have a chance now before it engages us to get out of the building. I suggest that that is precisely what we do before we are attacked. What do you think?

The older man responds to the lieutenant: "Send the runner."

He addresses Will as he makes another successful disarm dropping the sword to the ground. "What did I have to gain by the duel if you were attacking anyway?"

"The loss of Life." His outrage was clear as he spoke to the human, clearly vexed with his arrogance and lack of honor. "Not once did I say we wouldn't continue with what we were doing and I will die with honor this day because I didn't break my word."

He sighs as he raises his voice loud enough for the others to hopefully hear. "Everyone, don't hold back!" Simple and sad, these men would die and perhaps he would too. He didn't hide his hatred when he addressed the oath breaker one last time. "I should have expected this from Rovagug's servents." He stood swordless and ready to fight to the bitter, bloody end but the cultists had to be stopped.

Once again, like clockwork, the party is caught in a very bad position. Seeing Suny half-dead and Eirel visible now, and caught in a hopeless fight with a superior enemy, he abandons the very idea of looking for anything at all.

Wil's blow leaves the commander in bad shape, but still standing.

The commander sees the door open and yells, "The doors are open."

The younger troops break and run in many directions, dropping shields, falchions, and helmets in the process.

Suny took a dog bite and was hit for 5 and knocked prone.

Seltyn revises his estimates when a badly wounded and shaken older warrior are all that remain of the garrison.

Suny winces this time as the larger hounds clamp down upon her self. She frowns into the glowing eyes of the beast,

"Bad dog." She mutters at it returning a baleful stare.

So...depending on where the Hell-hound's taken a hold. Suny will simply try and keep the thing attached. It can't go making other attacks with its mouth full now, can it? (^_~)

Also, this will effectively pin the nasty bugger and let her allies get some freebies in.

"Well," Suny grunts as the Hell-hound begins to shake its head and growl through (Hopefully) still clenched teeth. "I wish I could think of a better way ta' 'Bell tha' cat'..."
