Seltyn has an epiphany, of sorts. He gleans a deeper understanding of Suny. Her origins are much more primordial than his own.
She's way more likely to obey an order if it sounds like fun. She's downright gleeful about everything, be it flirting or killing. She's no more or less an elf than himself, either. It should be fun.
His last thought is that we must kill all these humans and take their stuff. If there's a price to pay, it's already decided.

"You who killed my brother, today you pay for your crimes." Before the man's eyes the light that had faded when the witch had fell burns brightly once more, burning his eyes with the righteous wrath the Paladin eye casts in their direction. As Wil approached the plants parted, as if fearful to touch him while the power of his god surged through his being.

He then issues a few orders.
Elorin, would you please help Suny? We need to see what magic items they had, and assess their values, as well as the more mundane loot. It's ours.
Thalas, my friend, will you see to the injured? Channel your mighty healing. We must all be at full health for this, our next challenge.
He then addresses Bopart and Wil.
I'll dispense with any discussion of honor. It's relative. My direct experience with these humans tells me they had no honor at all. Any talk of honor from them is meaningless. You may as well trust the word of a demon.
We've lost no honor, since the Black Citadel has none, and can therefore take none from us. Their mistake was coming here, thinking we were dead. I'm sorry the timing wasn't convenient.
Our honor comes from rectifying their error. Their deaths were just and as humane as could be managed. That was their due, and it was done, at great cost to us, I must add.
We just lost a much-loved and very capable elf who actually had honor worth noting. These vermin? None.
He then looks coldly and sincerely at Bopart.
We haven't the time to list all the contrasts between what's supposed to happen and what does. The efforts of good folk are continually confounded and impeded by those who are not. Honor is not a property of evil. A devil may hew to the strictest letter of an agreement, but it's not because it has any honor.

He nods to Azlain and spoke quietly. "I have a potion if you need it, but I am afraid my strength is drained brother. Let me know if you need it."
Wil stands his hands bloody from bandaging the wounded men and seeing to those who were injured, he retrieves the blade from the mercenary that had struck the killing blow on Talon and sets the blade on Talons chest. Lengthwise with his body and poses his fallen brother in a way that he looked comfortable, like he were merely sleeping. Wil wiped off his hands and cleaned them with water from his personal supplies before setting a bedroll over Talon.
With his repects paid to his brother for now he moved to the witches corpse and pulled the blade from her and cast it aside before doing the same for her. "May the gods grace you with a new life and I pray you return with goodly intent in your heart." With that said he shut her eyes and wrapped her in his winter blanket. Making sure it was tightly bound before sealing it shut with thread. Still he worked wordlessly, looking all the world as if he were taking care of a fallen friend.
He listened to the conversation between Azlain and the Monk's as he worked but was too far away to respond just yet. Once the witch was taken care of he stood and rejoined the others...
Long post and a lot of activity for Wil to complete so I will neglect from talking until everyone else has a chance to speak. But the Witches body is wrapped up and the blanket sewed sht so she can be easily carried. Talon is merely covered. Wil is able to save one of the fighters. The first one downed is, ironically, the only one that can be saved. Master Bopart asks the ascetic who accompanied the clan leader to describe what happens, and is given an honest account of events. He is quick to mention, 'The witch and her gang were angling for a fight. She taunted and summoned a dangerous ghostly black hand and sent it towards Wil.
Master Bopart looks at Seltyn with an open face and a wrinkled brow.
"I understand your argument. It is realistic 'outcomes justifies methods' argument I have heard before. We believe here that 'how you fight' is at least as important as 'what you fight for'. We do not allow our members to use poison, even the evil ones. I have had many discussions with the wood elves, and as mercenaries, they do not get to determine what they fight for. They have had to concentrate on how they fight, and the reputation for the honor and professionalism of their companies sets them apart from others."
"Promotions within our order at one time were settled by duels. Although that is no longer the case--dueling is part of our heritage and training."
"I do not know your history with the witches. We can only judge your honor from this particular fight held on our neutral ground, and we find it significantly lacking. We have been called idealists by many, but slaying the fallen in battle is not something we can support--especially one that is participating in a duel. We have been entrusted with the responsibility of holding the ancient ships and deciding whom to give them to. Putting a powerful ship of war in your hands would be something that would concern me greatly."

Wil nods, accepting Master Bopart's words while trying to gather his wits. He looked to master Bopart, trying to word whathe was going to say as well as he could. He was too tired to avoid his voice cracking and he knew now that all previous friendliness with Master Bopart may have been lost but he hoped he could at least win something for the elven nation and the wood elves."Your right that our history with them isn't important, breaking our oaths to your order is. We came here to gain something for the Elven Nation as a whole, I wish to see the Wood Elves gain something from this as well. Without their help we wouldn't have gotten as far as we have and I would forfeit all claim on the vessels to see them succeed. So I cannot allow it to be lost without asking what can be done to regain your trust..." He looked back to the fallen bodies littering the flat ground nearby and sighed. "However I need a way to make sure that their remains are taken care of until they can be returned to their home of Origin. Can you help me with this? Please." He knew Thalas could maintain some of them but the look he had earlier made it hard for Wil to ask anything more of his Wise Brother. Instead he would leave him to meditate alone for now.

Let's update the loot and the situation.
The witches managed to draw the elves into a fight on neutral ground by casting a spectral hand and threatening to touch Wil. Azlain and Wil approached the witch, and she sent her escorts to surround Talon. Wil offered to fight one on one, not expecting the witch to take him up and rush at him. As the witch dealt massive damage, Talon cast an entangle, and the duel degenerated into a grand melee. Talon fell, and Azlain was spared by Labelas after the fighters surrounding him got in some very lucky shots. The witch was dispatched by Wil, and her fighters shortly after. The monk hosts were not happy with the justification for the grand melee or the slaying of the fallen witch.
Currently the witch and her fighters had:
One smoky black magic ring -- empower (metamagic) 3/day for evocation and necromantic spells only
3 mwork bastard swords
3 mwork chain shirts

One scroll of Summon Monster IV and Summon Monster II

Emo stuff leading to a conclusion for action that I'm too lazy to actually type out.
The turmoil subsiding at last, the words of Elder Bopart and Wil carried enough for him to finally hear. Rising, he strode with purpose and determination visible in his every step.
"Elder Bopart, you speak truly that how one fights is a measure of one's honor. I ask you to consider, however, the full account of what happened here. The one whose actions you cite as most lacking in honor was cut down and but a moment from passing on to the next Realm, yet Labelas Enorath reached down and restored him to life and vigor the likes of which he has not felt in centuries. Is divine intervention by one of the Elder gods of good - even on behalf of one you say is without honor - to mean nothing?"
"You say you are concerned about how we would potentially use the ship. I tell you plainly that our intent is to combat the growing influence of a cult of the World Ravager, Rovagug, that has been growing in power in the southern jungles. And against him, there is no honor: there is only the will to do what is necessary for our survival."
