Talons crumpling form brings out a rage in Wil and at the sound of the Witches shrill cackle he quite literally back hands her with his warhammer. A shower of divine energy explodes upon impact, raining short lived sparks onto the plants that failed to stop of the angered paladin. He said not a word as he joined Azlain in beating this abominable woman into the dirt. As the fighters turned their eyes to him he finally spoke, his words dark and certain. "Your next."


The witch takes another hit from Wil.

One of the fighters reaches to grab a bow from the ground and fires an arrow at Suny.

Then Suny gets rushed by one with a bastard sword.

The other fires a handaxe at Suny

Feeling a little bullied by the witch and her friends. 'First they sink a ship and try to kill the rest of us, then they come here and start a fight. I am so sick of being pushed around by big brutes who think it is ok to take by force!' Something inside her steeled her thoughts and she fixates on the fighters in front of here.(Specifically Fighter 2)

She reaches deep into her past and remembers something.

Casts Charm person on fighter 2:

She looks straight at the fighter an says. "Your fellow fighters are bullying a young girl as she travels with her friends. Stop your friends from trying to bully me. I know you are the strongest and I bet they think they are with their brutish tactics. A smart guy like you would know what to do. I would be eternally in your debt.

Even if he passes his Save at least he will notice another enemy and possibly not all gang up on you guys and come after me, the poor bullied Elven maid.

Thalas steps forward another few paces, bring up his bow and nocking an arrow - only to release it at the fighter also wielding a bow.

The witch escapes the vegetation and withdraws 15ft away avoiding the grasping grass. The fighter is unaffected by Elorin's spell as another takes an arrow. A force bolt rips the witch and another dispels the hand.

Wil seeing the Witch retreat puts up a heroic effort and trudges through the grasping plants and shrubbery to flank the witch on her left side. As he strode towards her the light that surrounded him continued to surge and dance, a constant reminder of the opponent the witch was up against. A elf aided by the gods to bring her to justice. She also saw that his injuries were nearly healed as well...

Lol you have to make a reflex save to break the entangle and being as *ahem* scantily clad as you are you could withdraw and make it as far as L-38~ which would put the witch in a world of hurt as she would have Wil and Azlain in front and Suny in back.

the DC for the Reflex check is 13 if you fail then you'll need a str check 13 (Losing a move action, and the fighter your next to could get a shot at you if you try and move without withdrawing :( I'm really hoping we don't lose another person in this fight. =/

Looks like the boards ate my action before the witch last went. I was out of town for holiday stuff the last two days. Didn't realize I hadn't actually posted.

Azlain grunts at the blows but otherwise ignores them. He was used to pain. He took a defensive stance and lashed out at one of the witches guards.

If the witch is still up, the wizard moves around the entangled area, and casts glitterdust (DC 18 will) on the witch, keeping his friends out of it.


Fighter2 was suffering from doom, causing the crit to be unconfirmed vs Azlain (26hp physical rather than 38hp).

The witch resists Seltyn's magic. Having absorbed some life force from Wil, the witch has taken two solid blows from Azlain with another hit from Wil and survived. She probably can't take another.

The witch steps out of the vegetation to the clear area dripping blood from many wounds. The five false images continue to circle the witch.

Wils Turn!

Kicking himself free of the plants and seeing the witch escaping him Wil barks an angry growl and tears off to the left through the rough terrain and cuts off the witches retreat.

His movements were quick and precise, cutting off the witch and putting her back to the entangling plants. "In the name of my Brther Talon I will smote you this day. You've committed murder for the last time Witch." He raised his hammer. Prepared to end her without an ounce of mercy.

Wil glares at the man coming for him and gestures to the witch. When Azlain falls the Hospitlar knows he has little choice but to fight to the death. "Wait your turn..."

With the power of the divine running through him Wil hefts his hammer high and brings it down with a crushing blow to the witches face, not holding back an inch in ending her before her minions reached him. Today one brother had fell, another struck down and his weapon stolen by a vile hitman. Whether the woman crumples or not he looks to the man who had taken Azlain's sword. "I told you your Next and I will be taking that back. Now are you too gutless to face me yourself or do you need your boyfriends there?"

Trying to catch the Witch.


The divine inspiration guiding your choice of images seems to have left as the contest has changed into a grand melee. But Wil seems to feel the laws of chance should break his way for a change.
As high rolls should benefit the party.

Wil leaves the witch bleeding and unconscious on the edge of life just as Azlain is. The warriors get agitated as the paladin drops the witch to the ground.
The fighter standing over Azlain says:
"We told you not to touch her. If she dies, he dies."

Wil shakes his head in scorn, leveling his hammer over the bleeding witch. "When did the wind think it could make the mountain bow to its howling? So here is the deal, the duel is over despite all of this she still lost and I am unharmed. So sheath your weapons and drop his blade or I will make her into a corpse along with all three of you. Once you have sheathed your weapons we'll make an exchange once the monk arrives, his life for hers and so Help me one betrayal and you will understand what Wrath truly is."

"And if you don't drop his blade because of some confusion that you get spoils I will make sure you have the pleasure of explaining to her why I claimed all of her gear and left her naked to the world. Understood?"

If they agree Wil kneels and begrudingly bandages the witch so she doesn't bleed out.

He points to the monk hopping across the bridge.

The Wheatfield Accords are a set of dueling rules set up by a halfling paladin from the goblin wars to settle disputes. It is obvious they were violated.
