THOON is very complicated, and i'd rather not muck up the works with another template. I am quite deep into Archeage these days, so i have little spare time for character creation (the most costly time-wise venture in RPGs).

its pretty good. I'm on Tahyang server if you pop on. Nuian/Elf faction.

gameplay is crazy. Im not the most well-versed MMO-wise, but this is only the second MMO i have been willing to pay monthly for. (WAR was the first, although i keep giving strong looks at DDO)

but yeah, the combat isnt the tightest, people's hearts are all a-flutter for the whole "active combat" thing where you double tap to dodge and all that. this, combat-wise, is a little more clunky than, say, Guild Wars 2.

where it excels is the crafting, it is amazingly complex. farming and economy are huge. i think of it more like farmville where you can also kill bad guys (PC and NPC) and there are a few dungeons at the moment.

also, one thing i love, the ships. you can craft actual ships that you can pilot around the vast and open seas. these are important to do trade runs of certain materials that, if you make in the right place and take to one of the several right places (farther is better, more dangerous is better) then you make more. you can also build SEVERAL varieties of houses, decorate them how you want, etc.

the community can be annoying at times. that would be my primary complaint, as well as a few aspects of mismanagement on the part of the company. not enough servers for launch, typical MMO launch crap.

There's one thing I'll need to come to terms with, where Trazzle is involved:

I'll never be able to play him optimally. So many abilities... s-so manyyyyyyyy! I can't even keep track.

Also, I'm a little lost on something: I lost my legendary item's abilities, and I can't seem to find them again. Could you remind me of the creation rules for it so I can quickly remake it?


Trazzle, it's no big deal! Versatility is often just as important, if not more, than optimization! Read the gameplay post, as I reiterated the Legendary Item rules for you! ^_^

Here's the Clever Coat's new stats, for your re-approval. (I remember that we had agreed to a homebrewed abilty, the 'Rummager' ability mentioned below. Please correct me if this is wrong.)

The Clever Coat (occupies Body slot)

Abilities:

Intelligent x 2 (10 int, 12 wis, 10 cha, speaks common, senses within 30 feet)
->Ability: Rummager: The Clever Coat is animate, but is not apt at moving on its own. It can, however, use its sleeves as arms to rummage through Trazzle's equipment and hand him items requested. (The Clever Coat uses its own actions to do this.)
Undetectable

Surge: d6, Str, Dex skill checks, Con checks. 2 per day.

actually a legit tactic. i once had a druid turn the first lord of hell into a goldfish because the 5th lv polymorph was all i had that would tell me if my enemy was an illusion or not (and i had already wasted an epic spell on an illusion)

As I just told TSP, I am surprised it doesn't have immunity to polymorph effects. Also, you do know it uses its Cha mod in place of Con for its Fort saves, right RVT???


I knows! It was like a 3/4 undead. We blended undead and half-undead lol. So, no big huge immunities, but it had the CHA to HP and Fort saves. We wanted it to be weaker because of how damaging the thing was (Able to hit about 120-200 a round on average,) and how powerful it's abilities were. Woops lol! XD

Undead are immune to any effect that requires a Fort save, unless it works on objects or is harmless. I believe that might make undead immune to BPM.

Shoulda just kept it undead, if that's the case :P

Oh man. I'm dying here. I didn't actually think that would work. Beware, mortals! Bawk bawk bawk!

I threw that out at random because I happened to have it prepared, I didn't think in a million years it would work.

(Props for not retconning it immune!)

Don't forget to will save against evil eye. (At best it reduces this effect to one round, so it doesn't impact the polymorph.)

The Maw will be a chicken whether it makes that save or not; that roll really doesn't have much of an impact anymore.

If it saves, it will be a chicken with -4 to saves for 1 round.
If it fails, it will be a chicken with -4 to saves for 20 rounds.
