Dwarf Cleric 14

Round 3

Skybek runs around the pillar (avoiding the AoO) and strikes at the ghast from the other side.

"Scuse me, Ahh beg yer pardon. Ahh dannae mean tae be pushy." he says as he pushes by Riegel and attacks.

Battleaxe: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22
Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8

"Yae cannae hide frae mae axe fer long, yae unlivin beastie!"

ROUND 3
Current conditions: fatigued
I think that, after seeing Skybek's action, Riegel feels safe to make his move, so POSTING OUT OF TURN YO!!!

The gunslinger smiles fiercly at Skybek's vicious slice on the ghast. Hile, priest! Stand and be true!

He then rolls around the pillar, and kisses the hot barrel of Discordia. In a great voice, he shouts out:
For the Silver!! FOR THE WHITE!! DIE, ye cursed minion of darkness!

He takes careful aim at the spellcaster's throat...

Use Trait: A Sure Thing (+2 to hit vs. evil creature, once per scenario)
Use Deed: Up Close and Deadly (cost: 1 grit)

Attack vs. touch AC: 1d20 + 7 - 1 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 7 - 1 + 2 = 20 <--dang--you know how bad I wanted that crit here????

Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

Odd will take advantage of Step Up if the Harvestman moves.

MAP TEMPLATES | Social Combat | War for the Crown | Campaign Tracker |

Skybek levels the remaining undead. Meanwhile Odd drives a dagger into the Harvestmaster, but only scores a light hit. Riegel delivers a solid shot to the cleric's abdomen. Paul leaves the crypt and approaches the Harvestmaster. Dazed, he only stands and takes the hits.

Tuesday start round 3. Good guys can all go.

Round 3

Tuesday's glare grows even sulkier as he attempts to fill the harvestmaster's mind with doubt. Evil Eye again - this time for -2 to AC. He breaks his gaze only to cackle wildly to himself.

MAP TEMPLATES | Social Combat | War for the Crown | Campaign Tracker |

WILL: 1d20 + 8 - 2 ⇒ (20) + 8 - 2 = 26 The tiefling's gaze continues to dampen the cleric's power. Riegel's gun lets out another crack as a second shot buries itself deep into the no-longer-dazed cleric....

Round 4

Skybek moves hastily through the pillars, north and around the back of the harvestmaster. (A little less than a double move, but more than a single and with too many corners for a charge.) He now grips his axe tightly and prepares to step in, flank the wretched creature, and backstab the way his roguish brother Tybek would do it.

"Now, we've got 'em, mae lass! Gie the beastie a stab wid that wee dagger!"

ROUND FOUR

Conditions: Sickened

Munk turns his attention to the Harvestmaster—and charges in its direction. Still sick, he hopes to offset the nausea and dizziness by virtue of brute force. As he approaches the Harvestmaster, he swings his fist.

Attack: 1d20 + 3 - 2 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 3 - 2 + 2 = 4

Paul steps forward, and slashes at the priest.

attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19
damage: 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13

MAP TEMPLATES | Social Combat | War for the Crown | Campaign Tracker |

Only Odd and Paul manage to connect among the heroes who crowd around the evil cleric. He's bloody and nearly beaten.

Surrounded and vastly outnumbered he goes to the only thing available, channeling negative energy. (I'll let you guys handle your saves and HP on YOUR turns as I don't have time ATM to look up everyone's saves.)

Channel to harm (hits everyone.) 3d6 ⇒ (2, 6, 4) = 12

In destroying Harvestmaster Quint, you have effectively removed the Zyphen threat to the Pathfinder Society and to Taldor as a whole. The scepter is a welcome addition to the Pathfinder Society’s collection of ancient Azlanti artifacts, and though nonmagical, it earns you fame prestige within the organization.

Day Job Rolls and I'll get the chronicles out ASAP. I'll make sure it's reported today so that PCs can be freed up.

"Such is for the followers of a tragic, misled, but vile god. May Pharasma place judgment on your soul."

(After looting the body) Odd takes some time to respectfully bury the body in the Pharasman fashion, cleaning and pocketing a finger bone from the fallen cleric.

"Now let's get of this damnable mountain."

I think I've got one use of Fervor left for today, which I'll spend on Riegel. Fervor: 1d6 ⇒ 1 Whoo! 1 point of healing.

No day job.

"Ach! Good riddance tae that beastie! Now, can Ahh offer some o' Cayden Cailean's fine brew a wee bit o' healing?"

Skybek uses channel energy to heal up his companions before the hike down.

DMS, thanks! That was fast! I actually will not be at Carnage until next weekend, but nonetheless, this is great! As usual, I had a really good time. I have always liked season 3! By the way, did we earn 2 prestige?

Day Job - Profession, Brewer: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15

In lieu of a Day Job roll, I would like to attempt one of my Boons. I don't have the paper on me at work, but the gist of it is to succeed at a DC 20 Bluff check in order to get 50 pieces of Navraxian Steel (functionally cold iron) ammo...I'll take bullets (NOT shot), if you please.

Bluff: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23 <---w000000t!!!

DMS, I'll get you the boon number tonight, so you can record it on the chronicle all official-like ASAP.

Oh, oh--it will also cost me 1 PRP (I think that's the cost--hold off on signing my chronicle until I confirm please!)

LOL That was a good time, and it moved quickly. I'll pretty much always have one PbP going. I know you guys aren't in for my current one, but I'll spread the word for what's next as it approaches.

Chronicles should go out tomorrow.
