Vem
Vem will approach both Cookie and Albert. "Vem has use of you, she requires some materials. You should procure them for her; desires does she, concrete, two flasks of liquid ice, two thunderstones, and two tangle foot bags."
Next she moves on to Kite and Tom, "You should tend to the fields, the soil needs to be tilled. Then Vem can fish the dead thing from the well, we can use it as fertilizer."
Vem looks to Thorrpe and Rai, "Leave the dead thing to Vem, the devious one should focus on making us an early defense."
Turning to Thorrpe she asks, "Can your abomination fly? It would be good to know what wildlife we find ourselves surrounded by. After, you can make dogs, can you not? Adorable. They can be used to herd the animals here in town for butchering."

Thorrpe
Well isn't this a case of the pot calling the kettle black.
what do you mean leave the dead thing? The well? And who is the devious obe
no shadow can not fly.
Raitoningu Burēdo
Rai and Thorppe are cleaning the well of dead things and Rai is the devious one because he did not let Vem play for very long ... ;-)
Thorrpe
I see in that case I will not use my enlarge persons if she is going to handle it
Raitoningu Burēdo
Before the enlarge Rai descends into the well, he tries to find discarded cloth that will act as a mask, extra protection from the corpse, and to extract the corpse. In addition, he makes sure it is not a deep water well for even enlarged persons before descending or descending too far. Next, using his 10' reach, he stabs the carcass in the head to make sure it's not one of those walking corpses he heard about as a child. Once on the bottom or in a good retrieval position, he make sure to collect all of the corpse.
Thorrpe, you can add in what you help with.
Thorrpe
Thorrpe straddles the well and leans down reachin for the corpse from his embiggened friend he yanks it out, and tosses it aside, then he pulls the samurai out as well!
Vem
Vem shrugs at Thorrpe and Rai,
"Vem says she can do it, it is fortunate for us to have this dead thing. It will make good fertilizer. The devious one mentioned draining the well of foulness, Vem agrees. The soil will be thirsty once it is tilled. We can do two jobs at once. I wonder what we should grow?"

Jezelyn "Celestial Song Dragon"
As mentioned by Mhar above (Thanks!), Jezelyn walks through the small abandoned village while detecting magic, checking for potential threats and dangers, as well as looking for lost treasures.
She would happily go with Braeth to forage if he asks her to, but she doesn't specifically volunteer when she realizes there are at least three others here with more survival skill than she. She figures her magical abilities can be put to better use in town, checking for magical threats, sending dancing lights into the well to help Thorrpe, Rai and/or Vem, and/or cleaning the most grimy areas. She does happily aid another with pretty much anything anyone looks like they could use help with.
She sees the potential for this to be a lovely little home base, and she sings softly while she works, reflecting this lightness of spirit.
Jezelyn "Celestial Song Dragon"
Actually, Braeth, according to our GM, for this task...
"No skill checks or rolls of any kind are needed. Simply state what you do on the first day (for now. We'll reach day 2 and 3 later) to restore the town. You do need to prove that you'd have the skill, ability or resources capable of doing such an action. Assume you can take 10 or 20 on any roll you would need to."
That was a really nice 20 roll, though, Braeth.
Anyway, sure, Jez would spend some of the day helping you forage, hunt, or gather.
She can take 10 on survival and get 13, successfully aiding another to help you find what you're looking for.
Jezelyn spends part of the time accompanying Braeth and any others who go foraging.
She would sing softly as they go, if they're not trying to be stealthy, and she would generally try to make herself as helpful as possible.
Ysanne Nightweaver
Ysanne looks around at everyone, "What is wrong with this place as it is?" So full of character, nature and charm. It's very unassuming as well, which might be to our advantage. The dead things will need to be buried though, because that's depressing."
Everest "Cookie" Kane
Cookie starts looking at the local wildlife to see what plants can be gathered and which ones are similar to domesticated plants with which to start planting.
Cookie also has a +5 in survival.
Vem
"Tell Vem what you need she will find a way to provide it."
Vem takes her Rope out from her bag and cuts about 5 feet off of it. Then continues to cut on it until it's reduced to ribbons.
Then taking a bag out of her Backpack carefully, she dumps out a bunch of caltrops and begins stringing them to 1 foot increments of ribbon.
Once finished she hangs them in both the two houses windows and doorways.

Raitoningu Burēdo
Rai nods his head in agreement with Ysanne, "Ysanne, a disguised settlement is a great idea! However, I think the monks want us to restore it to what they think is a serene village. If we do find ourselves under many attacks, we should reconsider your idea."
Then turns his attention to Vem, "We should see what they were growing around here. Maybe we can find some seeds?"
Vem
Finished stringing her ribbons Vem responds to Rai,
"Hopes for wheat she does, little tending needed."
Vem looks off to the lake and motions to it with her head to Rai,
"Pondering Vem is of the possibility of a man made Isle out on the lake. It would make for a much stronger position of defense. Perhaps in years time we could burrow a tunnel leading out to such a place, in the event of attack."
-Posted with Wayfinder
Raitoningu Burēdo
"Although wheat is good, rice is better for you but we can grow both since wheat is easier and faster to grow. Perhaps we can build an Island and Tunnel but it will not be easy and we don't know how deep the lake is?"
Jian Min
There isn't much left to do!
Well, I'm not as strong as Raito or Braeth, and I'm also not able to cast any kind of spell. But I'll show you my skills, I don't want to live in a house built with friends, if I did not helped in any way in its construction.
Jian then turns, and start his jobs. Firstly, he climb the highest building to have the best view of the land. He points every notable location, like the zones where animals passes frequently, or places where is possible to gather resource like wood, stone and similar. After Jian draws a sketch of a map of the surroundings, he asks to the others which can be the best animals that can be utilized in a farm. When he know this informations, he localize those animal (if present) and capture some of them. They are quickly conducted where they cannot escape, and, said this, Jian returns to his job after a little pause at the corpse of the dead men. He start to scavenge the houses for sources of light, such as torches or lanterns, tools for farming and fishing, and, where applicable, he repairs or assembles some. With many others people and many others things to do, Jian asks if anybody needs his help. If he cannot be an help for anybody, for any reason, Jian turns at the lake and studies the shipwrecks, trying to learn the style of life of the predecessors and to get something valuable for the group.

In the last two months Simeon has learnt lots, he has come to like the life at the monastery and the people he trains with, well, most of them. He now considers himself to have a connection to nature he had never thought possible. The ancient dragon spirits had called to him one day he had walked through the forest. They had been waiting for him and led him to an abandoned shrine far more ancient than anything he had seen. Several times a week he would come here and learn from the dragon spirits as they taught him the ways of the land and animals. They gave him some small access to their divine connections. Most would call you a druid, but you are different simeon. You are a world walker. You have travelled far to find us even if you didn't know what you were looking for. You still have a long way to walk yet.
After they are left alone Simeon goes with Braeth to scout and find what resources are available to them. Between us we can feed everyone no problem with our high survival scores.
In the forest he sits to meditate for a time, communing and gaining spells from the spirits. Afterwards he casts Commune with Birds and for 10 minutes anyone near him hears his bird like whistling replied backby the birds nearby, a musical conversation. He says he is asking them about the land around here, if there is any place dangerous, fertile ground for gathering food and what other animals inhabit the area.
Ysanne Nightweaver
Ysanne smiles, "Honorable Rai, if the monks had wanted us to simply do the obvious they would have put us to the obvious task of summoning up some brooms and ruining the natural course of this place. They brought us here to champion their cause, not play house. If the last test is anything like this one, Rai is probably correct," Ysanne sighs dramatically, " but that would mean I've been set up to lose anyway." Ysanne moves to explore the buildings for useful items or lost relics as she waves to the others. "I'll be over here should someone need me."

Noticing that everyone is, either getting food, building, or learning about the area. I will go looking through the destroyed building for anything that might be of use. Solid door, Tools, families heirlooms, if i find anything valuable then i will put it with Mhars shrine.

Braeth Swiftstep
After having spent several hours foraging through the woods with Simeon, Braeth returns with him to camp trailing enough food to feed everyone in the camp for at least two days.
He then returns to a spot they had found in the surrounding wilderness that was sure to give a sturdy supply of lumber and had a sizeable body of stone to quarry. Braeth would spend the rest of the day chipping away at the stones and carrying the results back to Mhar so that he could continue mending the ruined houses.
Spirit of Kotei
Perfect! I've looked through everyone's posts and here's the rundown.
Braeth: Foraging for food, wood and lumber for reconstruction and survival purposes.
Mhar: Conducts funerary services as well as casting mending and purify to repair and restore the already available materials and resources.
Thorrpe: Sends Shadow out to scout the surrounding region.
Zayne: Aid in gathering firewood and then proceeds to working on structural repairs as well as beginning work on fortifications or defenses.
Jezelyn: Detects magic around the town (but no luck) and then aids in foraging.
Raitoningu: Aided by Thorrpe, the duo clear out the well of the unfortunate dead animal cadavers.
Vem: Immediately demands much of others (*wink*) then debates turning the animal corpses into fertilizer.(*shudder*) She also makes lovely decorations around the remaining doorways and windows.
Ysanne: Discusses potentiality of a camouflaged settlement as well as searching for forgotten or abandoned items.
Cookie: Inspects the local wildlife to recover plants which can be grown and plants which can be gathered.
Jian Min: (This is quite a lot, so I'll have this be conducted over a few days) Surveys the territory, sketches a map, corals a few animals that had escaped into a makeshift pen and begins assessing the shipwrecks after having foraged for any remaining items.
Tatsuo: Scouts with Braeth, and communes with nature.
Albert: Goes item hunting as well.
===
I have not heard from Tommar or Kite I believe.
If there is anything I missed please let me know before I write up the summary of day 1 and move on to day 2.
Raitoningu Burēdo
Raito looks around and likes Ysanne's idea but also wants a nice serene location with a nice garden to meditate in, "Braeth, can you tell if this village was attacked? If so, tell me everything you find and how many times it has been attacked. I am sure they left clues."
Mhar "Mharo" the Spirit Dragon
The other two things Mhar would do are create a loose plan utilizing each person's skill set (by way of asking them) and encourage everyone to work together (diplomacy!)... and use stone or other non-flammable materials. Mhar's knowledge of history and local may help know if this was an attack or natural.
Mhar would walk up to Ysanne. "Although I have seen you cast, I am curious: what do you see as your skills and talents? Besides: you mentioned appearances. Is there a way you can adjust appearances from the outside without harming what is within?"
He is looking for the best way to help her place her abilities to work for her good and the good of all. Feel free to RP or hand waive at your option.
Raitoningu Burēdo
After speaking to Braeth, Ratio sees Jez using a spell to clean things up, he approaches her, "Beautiful Nightingale, can you please use whatever you are using to clean this dirty and stinky samurai up? He will be most grateful?" Raito bows low to her...
Jezelyn "Celestial Song Dragon"
Jezelyn would nod and smile, then prestidigitate Rai and his clothing, leaving him clean from head to toe.
She can do this at will, and would be happy to clean anyone who would wish it, after a hard day's work. :)
Jezelyn "Celestial Song Dragon"
Suggestions for the GM for Kite and Long Tom:
If they don't post before you update, Spirit, perhaps we could say they work on fishing the little broken boats out of the lake, since they both have skill at swimming?
Or perhaps they're just on guard duty for us?
Raitoningu Burēdo
Raito bows low again to Jezelyn, "Arigato gozai mashi ta! Now this Samurai can get back to work. Now regarding Ysanne's suggestion of disguised buildings; how about we repair the buildings but make the outside of the buildings and grounds look like they do now? This way, the we can have a disguised village but with serene interior? "
Ysanne Nightweaver
Mhar would walk up to Ysanne. "Although I have seen you cast, I am curious: what do you see as your skills and talents? Besides: you mentioned appearances. Is there a way you can adjust appearances from the outside without harming what is within?"
"My skill set includes nothing outside the norm for a run away woman in her twenties that grew up in a bustling city. Well aside from being able to live 300 years through no action of my own." Ysanne shoves a rotted log with her foot. "I can easily consume resources, and spout lore of these people and various other beasts, but nothing even close to disguising a place to look different. I do however not trust that fixing this place up is the test. Such is life though."
Zayne Iwatani
By now Zayne has returned from gathering firewood and has given the village a once over, noting the structural integrity of the buildings and the lay of the land, thanks to Jian Min.
Knowledge(engineering)+2 for Jian's help: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20
He is not happy. Only one of the homes is structurally sound for now and the others are so old and destroyed he wouldn't trust them to last through the night. They were going to need a temporary structure if they stayed here for the night. And a lot of wood. Stone would be too heavy and take too long to move, even if they had a whole year. And a tunnel and island was out of the question. Not unless they had some powerful magic at their disposal. He wasn't sure what the casters could do but he doubted it would be enough. When he is done he goes back to the others with his findings.
Jezelyn "Celestial Song Dragon"
Jezelyn would definitely raise an eyebrow when Ysanne mentions having lived over 300 years, but then realizes that, in a sense, they all have, and figures that's what Ysanne meant.
In response to Ysanne questioning the task at hand, Jezelyn would respond,
"Our instructor did specify that, unlike last time, this training does not contain a brilliant twist. He said they wanted this place restored, and that he'd be back in three days to see what we've managed to do with our skills and teamwork. Besides, if this place is to be our home, we may as well make it nice. The remote forest location already hides us from most of the outside world."
When Zayne gives his report, Jezelyn would nod and smile,
"Then let us spend the night in the one house that is safe, and let us continue to fix it up and make the others safer tomorrow."
Jezelyn would offer her umbrella, two waterproof sacks, and poncho for use in making the roof of the safest house rain-resistant for the time-being, if this seems like it would be helpful to Zayne and others with structural knowledge.
She would periodically visit Mhar for a refill of her waterskin, thanking him with a nod and a smile.
She would also create dancing lights after sunset to aid all those near her with visibility.
And, if Braeth does start a campfire, some fun evening campfire songs would definitely be forthcoming! :)
Thorrpe
A shame I am unable to summon a spider, perhaps it could web the roof.
Thorrpe will conitue to lift heavy rocks as long as he is still large.
Braeth Swiftstep
After hearing Rai's question Braeth looks around, worried about what he might find. He answers Rai by saying
"Let me take a look around and see what I can find out from out from our surroundings", before searching for traces of what might have befallen the previous inhabitants.
Once his searching is done, Braeth uses the firewood Zayne brought to start a larege bonfire for the whole party
"Food always tastes better warmed around a nice fire and accompanied by exotic tales" he says with a wink and a smile in Jez's direction
Tatsuo Kasai "Simeon Gaijin"
Simeon add a dance to the flames to accompany Jezelyn's entertainment, dancing shapes, animals, even a dragon that breathes fire up into the night.
I have spark, I can play with fire ok :p
Jian Min
Let's take a try! Now I'll see if I'm good at dancing!
Perform (Dance): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19
Dance with me, my fellows!
Vem
Vem had been sitting near to the fire creating more ribbons of caltrops when the singing started.
After a short moment of listening to Jezelyn she stands up and walks over to Zayne.
"Might Vem borrow Odd One's weapon for a few minutes?"

Kite 'Kaito' Exeter
Apologies, I was at a FtF pathfinder campaign yesterday, and it ran very, very long.
Kite wanders towards the ruins of the buildings, examining and attempting to determine just how much repairs they could do to it in the span of three days.
"...Aye, these monks are mad. Three days to make all of this livable? If she were a ship, aye maybe... But houses and fields?"
He says to himself as he examines the structures and tests the integrity of the bases.
Zayne Iwatani
Watching the festivities, Zayne's mind begins wander. He leans against one wall of a ruined structure towards the back of the group. A few months ago we were all dead. 300 years ago we were still alive in a world that was still familiar to us. Some of them probably had family and friends, maybe even lovers or partners. Now nothing is familiar. All that got left behind. By now most of us have probably been forgotten by those who knew us. And yet, here we are, sitting around a campfire after a day of hard work, singing and dancing. He shakes his head and smiles at the thought. Could be worse. Could be dead. He isn't there long before Vem approaches, asking for his weapon. he doesn't think much about it, still lost in his own thoughts, and hands it over. Are you going to do what I think you are going to do?
Mhar "Mharo" the Spirit Dragon
Kaito, your Handle Animal is wrong: you have a CHA of 15... so +2 bonus, minimum!
"Then," Mhar says to Ysanne and Kite, "put your minds to work! Perhaps try your hand at crafting! Are you skilled at aught else, Kite? Use it! Animals, or rope: all is useful. Even if you have no particular trade, bless the spirits of the dead, and let them guide your hands. Or seek a living instructor. Finish the task well if, for nothing else, for yourselves." he looks at them. "For what glory comes to those who wait? Rather, it is those that do, regardless of ability. Let us try together!"
With that, Mhar would put them to work at (or at least mark them down as) guarding, crafting (untrained could still exceed a basic DC 10), and/or animal handling.
*later that evening by the fire*
Mhar watches for a while enjoying, before standing and walking off into the darkness for some alone time. There, he softly cries: bitter, yes, for losing his mobility, and sadness guilty too, for crimes of hubris and those that he cannot recall; yet also feeling something different, something he had thought forever lost... the beginnings of what may possibly be a family.
I will protect them, he vows to the spirits, with all that is within my power to do, I will protect them. I may fail, but if I fail, I will fail trying. Grant me strength: you took the strength and agility I once had and squandered selfishly. Now grant me strength for their sakes, strength that will help me be there for them, to heal and guide, and bless. Forgive my failures, and allow me to succeed, spirits of this land. he prays.
A chill wind blows across him, and he is uncertain if, for once, the wind is one of malevolence or benevolence, but he is certain that it is in response to his prayer. And perhaps it is not so hateful as it often seems.
Jezelyn "Celestial Song Dragon"
Earlier in the day, when Jezelyn heard Kite complaining, she would suggest,
"Perhaps you could focus on fixing up one or both of the small fishing boats, then, since that is where your expertise lies, and since they may prove useful as a food source."
Now, in the evening, gathered with the others around the campfire, Jezelyn uses her prestidigitation to tastefully flavor everyone's food, claps in delight at Simeon's fire tricks, and hops up to join Jian Min's dance, while continuing to sing, and manipulate her dancing lights in time to the song.
She can take 10 for a total of 20 on Perform (Sing), a great performance, and take 10 for a total of 16 on Perform (Dance), an enjoyable performance. :)
Ysanne Nightweaver
"My mind is always working. Working smarter has gotten me this far, not working harder. Put me down for whatever will help the most, I'll be sure to get on it as soon as I'm done looking for something this village left behind, there's a real reason this place is in the state it is in; no one can deny that knowing the history of this place wouldn't be useful."
Braeth Swiftstep
Braeth simply sits back, enjoying the simple food, wonderfull performances and pleasant company
Guess this is what it feels like to have a family. Should've listened to you earlier ma, this really isn't as bad as I thought...
Vem
Vem thanks Zayne for the weapon and walks off out of camp, frost forming over the fauchard as she walks.
I'm not sure how wrapped up Mhar is, but perhaps with a moderate Perception check, DC 15?
He might spot Vem hacking away viciously at tree some distance away with Zayne's weapon and screaming.

Thorrpe
Thorrpe sends the dog over to see Mhar, for bit though Thorrpe does not approach.
Thorrpe listens to everyone and he and Shadow turn in early.
I just do not know what to say to any of these people...glad Shadow is here
