Jeji- can you verify your attack bonus. I have +4 BAB, +4 Dex and +1 point blank for +9 ranged. what am I missing?

Also, I'm Small sized, so +1 to hit, -1 to CMB, +4 stealth, etc.


Kricker- ah. I'd forgotten you had an archetype. So Drahlneep is the pistol guy, Kricker on long guns, jeji the grenadier.

I was thinking of allowing an engineer skill check to figure out a specific weapon (ie gain proficiency in it) but again I'm put off by PF skill check megabonuses. I'll have to think about it, but it would give Perrik options.


Haven't heard from Drahlneep in a couple weeks. Are you still in, D?

I've had a really rough few weeks with my household sharing back-to-back illness and intermittent internet issues. I apologize for slowness/absence and am working to get back to normal posting over the course of the week. I'm working today to update my games across the board, tackling this one first, but may be slow still for a little bit. So yes, if need be that is fine. He's not a character with a lot of tricks up his sleeve, pretty straight-forward, just sometimes hard to copy and paste my stats/rolls on the phone, bleh.

Following up on Perrik's suggestion, it might be a plan to lead them up one of the tunnels, maybe the pits in A5, and then slip into A6 ahead of them blasting the tunnel between them as they try to pursue. You can blast again and mop up with them trapped in A5. Or some variation as you wish.

That sounds good. The only thing I worry about is if they drive their slaves in before them, we don't want to kill the folks we are trying to free.


Well, I hadn't thought of that ;) actually, slaves still have value so they aren't likely to feed them to monsters if they can help it.

Drahlneep- you cant ready outside of initiative. I was planning on using Starfinder rules. Looks like they recently statted a grenade launcher, but I don't think it's much different from pf version. Do you have any grenades though?

I think that last saving roll was my first on this character that was a save or die situation. Good time for a Nat20...


Hmm, thought that I mentioned this before, but I'm just going with a duration of one hour for blindness/deafness. A permanent effect like that for a 2nd level spell is waaaaaay too powerful. It prob should allow a new save each round just like other 2nd level spells like hold person or glitterdust. Is that OK, Kricker?

I agree that the spell is unbalanced (particularly when combined with the misfortune hex), but glitterdust is not the best comparison. AISI, glitterdust is mainly to deal with invisibility, and only secondarily to blind a target. It's also an AoE spell.

Fair enough for glitterdust and hold person is full on paralysis. B/D isn't quite save or die so I don't think that a new save end of each turn is called for. But permanent is pretty out of whack. What even cures blindness? Greater restoration?

Remove Blindness/Deafness, 3rd level clerical or witch spell.


That's a very specific spell.
