Reflex Save: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7

Nius tries to dodge the flames but is unable to maneuver on the stairs and takes the flames full to the chest.

"Arrrgh!"

In anger Nius calls forth Nature to lend him the power of the Storm. A gust of wind can be heard while Nius extends his hand is shot from his hand towards the shaman:
Ranged Touch Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18 Non-Lethal Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 5

Seeing his shot barely graze the shaman Zondras slows down his breathing and takes aim again. Knowing her spell casting might decide the battle he aims at the shaman's arm hoping to prevent her from using her magic again.

If I understand correctly, both Goblin 2 and the shaman are 40' away from Telurion, so he needs a charge action to get at them.

Roaring, Telurion dashes towards the shaman - Time to end this, WRETCH!!

Charge on shaman (power attack): 1d20 + 5 + 2 - 1 ⇒ (15) + 5 + 2 - 1 = 21

Nius's force of nature stuns the shaman, she looks blankly into druids eyes. Then suddenly she jerks violently as an arrow pierces her chest. She drops to the ground dead just as Telurion charges right through her, and then decapitates the goblin warrior behind her! Suddenly, the action in the southern tower ceases. However, the smoke is still bellowing from the signal fire. It is however, not fully lit.

The last remaining goblin, draws his bow from the northern parapats and targets Jezebel.
Goblin: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
However, the shot goes wide.

Yoren moves to extinguish the signal fire, stomping out or using his cloak to smother it, pouring water from his skin if need be.

Silver Crusade

Piling as much snow as possible into her cloak, Jezebel bolts to the top of the tower and drops the mound of snow on the smoldering signal fire. unsure how many actions this will take, so I am out of combat until you say I am done

Seen how the others had rushed to deal with the signal fire, Nius remembers he had offered to stay with Mifune and guard the goblins.

Runs down the stairs and out of the south tower to check on Mifune and the goblins.

Knowing that their are still goblins in the other tower Zondras runs to the top of the south tower. Seeing that the signal fire is being taken care of he looks for the goblins on the north tower. He takes aim with his bow once more and fires.

Longbow Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20

"My esteemed traveling companions of the green-skin variety, it seems as if all things are coming to a close. This one apologizes profusely for any inconvenience this may have been. Your cooperation in this matter was much appreciated."

Offering a disarming smile to the goblin prisoners, Mifune turned his attention to his fellow Pathfinders dealing with the goblins, a worried look etched upon his face as he watched the signal fire closely.

The Exchange

Zonras' arrow finds the last goblin's chest and the creatures falls, letting out only a groan as he bleeds to death. Meanwhile the combatants of the southern tower put out the signal fire with snow and smoldering the remains with their cloaks.

Well, we kinda rule, what can I say? :D

Seeing that things are under control, Telurion signals Mifune to join them, afterwards confirming if all are ok - Is everyone ok? Good job my friends - quick decisions and even quicker actions. My hat is off to you, my traveling companions - he says with a broad smile.

After piling the snow from her cloak on the smoldering embers of the signal fire, Jezebel helps the others do a quick scout of the goblin corpses and towers.

Perception check: 1d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 7 + 1 = 24 Would I need to make a separate roll from atop the towers to see if i can see any signal fire lit at the distance?

Addressing the group: "I concur with Jezebel, we better try to keep ourselves warm from this weather. But lets make sure the fire does not smoke much, we had enough with the signal fire earlier..."

After taking a moment to think he continues: "We should take turn to do watch through the night, we don't want our guests here to feel neglected."

Yoren looks around to see if there is any material difference between the two towers, perhaps one is more stable and secure than the other.

You find the following treasure, if someone is going to take something please announce it.

  • Potion of Cure Light Wounds
  • alchemist fire x3
  • holy symbol of ***
  • Potion of Bull's Strength
  • bows, arrows, crossbow and its bolts, and gold

Some of you have taken damage, its up to you how you wish to heal

The goblins captives are eager to bash the heads in of the dead goblins but are easily distracted once food and warmth are offered. Surprisingly, they behave fairly well through the night which passes without incidence.
The sun rises early in the East and the day looks to be a pleasant one, the wind having died down.

Silver Crusade

Female Elf Wizard

I am down 5 of 11 (6 remaining) hp. Nius, did you include the +4 for my help?

Jezebel sits down in the corner, and examines the arrows now protruding from her small frame. I wonder how much it will hurt to just yank em out?

Grand Lodge

Male Human Druid 1

Jezebel, no sorry, missed that. Dr. with Jezebel assist it would be 28 total on my Perception check.

Nius will cast Cure Light Wounds on Jezebel (I believe she is the most wounded party member. And will use my heal skill with my healing kit to patch up the rest of the wounds before we rested.
Cure Light Wounds: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

Looking at Jezebel and leaning closer putting his hands above the wounds he says:
"Sorry we sent you to an ambush girl, let me take care of those nasty arrow wounds

DrGabe, do you want me to roll heal check for each of us? As for loot, id like to take one of the alchemist flasks. And i guess we divide the gold evenly?

The next day: [b]No attack must be a good sign! Lets make haste and be up on our way, the weather is too good to miss."[b]

Nius goes out to check the weather and try to determine how long this nice weather will last vs how far we are from our destination.

Wouldn't mind taking that Potion of Bull's Strength

Mifune looks upon the easily placated goblins with an exasperated sigh as he rises with the morning sun. After being on guard duty during the last confrontation, his body seemed to be on edge, leaving little time for sleep.

Looking to Nius, he gave a brief smile and a bow as he looked to the horizon, trying to get a read on the weather.

Silver Crusade

Male Human Fighter Lvl 2 (Lore Warden) / Ranger Lvl 1 | HP: 25/25

Being as he is more of the tank sort, Telurion would take the Potion of CLW, but its no drama if someone else wants it.

In the morning, Telurion gets up bright and early, taking in the cold dawn air in his lungs, checking in on the goblins to see if everything is in place, and doing some physical exercise to wash the sleepiness away.

Then he dons his armor and gathers with the others for breakfast - Right you are Nius - we should get moving seeing as the signal fires from yesterday seem not to have alerted anyone... apparently...

Liberty's Edge

Male Human (Varisian) Magus/1 (HP:13/13 AC:17/13t/14ff)

Zondras replaces his lost arrows and takes the crossbow & bolts. Is it heavy or light?

After helping set up the camp for the night he looks to Nius to help bandage his wound. He takes his turn at watch and rests for the night. I assume I heal 1hp

If anyone else wants the crossbow just say so.
I'll take the 3rd fire flask if no one wants it.
Splitting the gold is fine with me, i'm not one of those 'he got more items so should get less gold' types.

In the morning he keeps an eye on Nius, looking to see when the Druid prepares his spells. Zondras finds a spot outside, taking advantage of the sunny day and prepares his spells out of sight from the others. If spotted and asked he says he always starts his day by reading from Desna's holy text. Once finished he gathers with the others.

Hearing Nius and Telurion he adds, "Yes, the sooner we get out of the cold and back to civilization the better."

Silver Crusade

Male Human Fighter 1

Yoren doesn't see anything he needs. He does his best to rest and let his wound heal, and is up and ready to go early in the morning.

The Exchange

I'll try to answer all the questions here- light crossbow, you all heal one point over night because of full rest... I think that is it

You break fast quickly and quietly, the goblins once again hungry for more food. Its a good thing those Pathfinders gave you so many rations!
The trail leading from the towers leads you further south. The land opens into a broad grassland where the snow is much sparser. The sky is overcast and the temperature has risen, making the march south somewhat easier. For as far as the eye can see, there is nothing but open ground and great fir trees that dot the landscape.
However, Mifune takes a look around (with her survival skill that she rolled) and notices that far in the north, storm clouds are forming. Suddenly she realizes that those clouds are moving very fast and a major storm will soon be upon the party.

You think you have one hour, perhaps two before the storm approaches. It will take about one hour (perhaps longer) to make a shelter. I need one survival roll, other players can assist if they like.

Silver Crusade

Male Human Fighter Lvl 2 (Lore Warden) / Ranger Lvl 1 | HP: 25/25

It is doubtful that I have the best Survival, so I will roll to assist whomever is leading the task of building the shelter - I believe probably Nius.

The storms moves with inreadible speed. The temperature drops by the minute and despite early warning the group isn't able to set up an appropriate shelter. Snow begins to fall as you all are still working. The Goblins don't impede your work, but don't offer to help. If asked, they cause more problems than its worth.

First, everyone needs a DC15 Fort save vs. the cold. If you fail you take 1d6 non-leathal cold damage. Secondly, you can try again to finish building the shelter, that requires a DC15 Survival check.

Apologies for the sparse posting guys - it's been a hectic week...

DrGabe:

Telurion waits for his watch turn -I am assuming we are taking watches ;) - and address the goblins directly, in hushed tones - Lookie here wretches, it spills my guts having to escort you. I am hoping THAT is clear for all of you - If you manage to escape, feel free to come after me first - I will be waiting for ye! Now... I WANT to know if you have ever heard anything about a group named "The stilyagi", and whatever information you may have on them. Either I believe the answer you give me and I MAY make an effort to increase your comfort while in our company, who knows...? Maybe another half ration... Or if I do not believe your words, I will have no qualms in running one of you through, and say that you simply tried to escape...

Diplomacy check please. You may get assistance if you like

After a long and cold night, the sun slowly rises over the mountains in the east. As you emerge from the shelter you see that a lot of snow has fallen, several feet in fact. Its a good thing you were able to make this shelter or you all would have frozen to death!
After breaking camp, you find that the trail is not to hard to find and follow. After a few hours of marching you finally reach the village of Harvest's End.
It is a quiet place. Traveling merchants in colorful garb are easily distinguished from the locals, who dress in woolen clothes of drab browns, greens, and grays. There are no sounds of laughter or play here. Fishermen put their catch out for display, while others congregate in small groups and whispered conversations. Smoke rises from the chimneys of uniform but well- constructed buildings, most of which are surrounded by small white picket fences.

@Jezebel, missions are in post #46 (first page towards the end), Yoren is also from the same faction, i guess you all three could do the mission together assisting each other.

To the companions while we are outside: "Shall we book for passage as soon as possible? Or should we investigate the states of affairs in town for a little while before venturing for transport? I myself would like to move as soon as possible but first find out about transport, without having to drag our charges here all around town."

The rules state that you need a diplomacy check- I'll fudge a bit and say that Telurion's Intimidate is good enough to Aid Another for the roll. Essentially you are trying to get on their good side so that they will give you the information you seek.
