I am temporarily retiring Hadassah and Jezebel, sadly. I have to get my other Druid, Esmeralda up to level 3 before the August 14th deadline so I can apply my Rivalry's End GM Credit. I am wondering what to do next still. . .

I have been wanting to play a Druid for some time now, but am going to test Telurion for a tad longer :D

If I'm not mistaken this makes level 2 for little old Yoren. Something I've never done before in PFS, or pathfinder at all. I allocated his stats with the idea I would pick up some combat maneuvers, but now I see the difference a single stat point can make and think maybe I should just focus on smashing. Food for thought.

I never have played a melee combatant, so I am the last to ask aside from having GMd a bunch.

Except Wizards (Skills, Class Skills, DCs, Spells Known, Bonus Spells all based on Int) everyone has to be a little mad. I would recommend taking a look at the Advice Forum's Guid the the Class Guides thread, and check out the guides to warriors to see what appeals most to your play style, and just take the parts you like. Cookie cutters are boring.

I think combat maneuvers can be fun. I had an 8th level half orc barbarian that overran things. The thought was to get him past a line into the soft squishy things like spell casters fast.

Never really worked out well in PFS play, but it was fun.

I think disarming folks would be enjoyable too, but at the end of the day you need to put the hurt on folks to end the fight.

So where are we regarding the next step, if any? ;)

I would try to run from the usual "I'll play anything" but it is not easy. I've been having a lot of fun with you as GM DrGabe.

My druid that I like is waiting to hear on a chronicle detail. (how Feast of Sigils works). Otherwise I am retiring Hadassah, Jezebel, and Amme for local play only. I wouldn't mind swapping for Esme though . . . .

Also! If we run another one, can we do a new thread? It is getting harder to scroll back to check progress notes on this one. . .

I am going to take about two weeks off before we restart playing. GenCon is coming up and I need to prepare for that. I will aim to restart things on the 19th. Between now and then I'll be assigning table and starting a new threads since that has been suggested by several players.

I am good, I think. This sounds vaguely familiar to me. Going through old chronicle sheets to see if I played it (with an old barbarian PC perhaps).

Doh! Forgot my gm credit applies as soon as my character can get it. I am level 4 -sigh- I suppose I could apply all my 3rd level gm credits on slow advancement?

Bumpity following GenCon! PFS 5.0 comes online today.

Biggest changes:

Page 9: Removed Lantern Lodge and Shadow Lodge
under Step 6; Factions.

Pages 15 and 16: Removed Lantern Lodge and
Shadow Lodge entries from Chapter 4.

Page 18: Added a new section titled “Faction
Retirement”

Page 27: Under Free Rerolls, added “Additionally,
when a player uses a free reroll, they may present their
PFS membership card and receive an additional +1 for
every GM star they have earned, for a maximum of a +5.”

Page 29: Removed the following text: “There are no
Day Job checks when playing a sanctioned module or
Adventure Path.” Day Job checks are now available
after playing either of these sanctioned content.

Inventory Tracking Sheet added to the back of the
Guide. It is mandatory for all PFS characters to now
use the sheet.

Changed the rules on sub tiers as well, page 35.

I will most likely play with Telurion. Crunch is still not updated, but he should be level 3 by now.

Alternatively, I will play a full support dual cursed oracle of life - think it is allowed for PFS, correct?

Since we have had some changing here and there, why don't you give me a list of what characters are playing and I'll open up recruitment for any holes we have

Well, it all depends on what tier we are about to play, but I have got Telurion here - fighter 2/ranger1, or Eredax - Oracle 1. These are the ones I am more interested in playing with for now.

I have Boom Boom Tharnack as a first level alchemist, Enok T'Narr as a 2nd level wizard, and a fifth level inquisitor if we go that high.

Yoren Level 2 fighter.

Telurion- Glass River Rescue.

I'll get table assignments up later today.

I am interested in leveling Eredax, my life Oracle -> Would he fit into the Glass River Rescue group, or would you rather I take Telurion, now sitting at level 3?

Either one of those would be fine. We will have a table of level 3's and either character will be ok.

I am back as well. Had a sudden funeral to attend last week followed by the Judge Baugh decision.... Meh. Politics be damned, as an attorney, I went to the protest in Billings, Montana, and organized one in Butte, Montana. Here's hoping her resigns before I end up in his court!
