I hope everyone else does or I have to open recruitment again.
Please post her in character so I can review the initial build. After that I will place my faith in you that you won't fudge your sheet.
Also please place primary information in your Race and Class/Level tab for ease of reference like this character that I poster with here.

DM Corerue |

This will speed things along in combat without me having to dig it up or have a sticky note or what not.
Also.
Unlike most DM's I will post similar info about the enemy you are fighting. It will all be in its own tab and its more for speed and story sake. That way you aren't waiting to know if you hit it. You know right away, bam I hit. Make a neat post of how you hit it, flourish strike what have you and if it has some special resistance (DR for instance) I will make a counter post of how it quickly regenerates after your strike.
It saves time and I think makes it more story driven then instead of .
I swing. <- Your post with dice rolls.
You miss. <- My post telling you missed 8 HOURS LATER. I will also post their saves and allow you to roll their saves to speed up combat, IF YOU WISH, its not a requirement but like I said. Its nice to know that your grease spell causes the thing to fall down and your companions move in. While its prone. And get their stabby on.
Any Questions?

Aiden Casey |

Like this? I may swap out what spells I've got prepared before we start up, though. Also, do you want skills as well or is this setup sufficient?

Flynn Fastclaw |

Sorry about the delay with us too, midterms suck. Fall break starts tomorrow, and Freddie and I will be sure to get our stuff up once we get some sleep as well

Flynn Fastclaw |

I'll be up within an hour, Fidget, will you text Freddie and see if his Florida excursion can be interrupted to put his stats online within a day? If not, you should remind him what happened to Crumin when he wasn't here to level up ;P

DM Corerue |

Sorry for the slow posts, work has been flipping my schedule every other day so its difficult to adjust. :/
Anywho was waiting for Fidget and Freddie to post. But so far the characters look good. :)
As stated before I will not police your characters, I tend to run rules light for the most part and trust others to not cheat and mind their characters abilities and stuff as per the norm.
Anqy questions? Just ask. :)

Flynn Fastclaw |

I for one am enjoying the pace. One OOC question though, Aiden, where would you prefer to live? I know you assumed we stayed together before I said junkyard, I didn't want to just assume that that was still true xD.

Heheh I've had those moments, build a character and not press save key :(. Find out next day and get really frustrated lol.
I don't always make chaacter sheets, but when I do I hit save. Stay gaming my friends.
—The most interesting gamer in the world.
Sorry I couldn't resist I'll just go back to my campaigns now :)

Flynn Fastclaw |

I'll tell fudge right now, there might be an issue with Freddie, I'll let you know tomorrow. Sorry for the wait guys. Drama factory over here

i am still here, researching more on the Iron Gods AP, making sure the encounters are good enough for the likes of you guys.
I am also building a 3-17(20th? Possibly) level campaign in Iobaria of all places~
That is becoming a lot of fun!
Still waiting to see how this pansout with Fidget and Freddie. I hope everything is okay. If we have to stop the game then I can always recruit again. No hard feelings, RL is more important then gaming. :)
Iobaria is a really fun place, reminding me of Conan the barbarian and good ol' sword and sorcery games~

DM Corerue |

No not all.
I am working on the Humanoid path right now. Basing them out of Orlov. Still putting together the encounters and overall adventure flow but the game will utilize ultimate campaign rules eventually.
Practically every class will be available Except for eastern themed ones depending on your race/build.
I am building custom campaign take as well.
There will be three other paths I am building.
Goblinoids of the Cormeth wood. Party plays as bugbear, goblins, hobgoblins. Still a work in progress.
Snowballed of Fangard. Part of an endangered Lucian community.
And finally. Centaurs. Work in progress. Looking at making it possible to play as one of the seven tribes. However the entire party would have to be of thst tribe.
Lots of ideas and a load of work... hence why I am starting with humanoid side first lol
However evil themed characters may not be totally out of the question we will see.

i will say also that Iobaria isn't for the weak of heart. 50+ plagues have crumbled the empires that once ruled there time and time again. At one point over 3/4 of the population perished due to one such plague. Sikness is always a possiblilty and Iobarian's don't react well to those who become ill...
So take that into account among the fact it is an area known for its high density of particularly nasty and monstrous beasts. Mad Dragons among other things roam the land in certain areas and Iobaria was once the center of Koloran Empire, an Empire of Cyclopes that once existed. So a lot of the archeticture is massive in scale and size fitting such large inhabitants.
I am going to try and capture its grittiness and make for a truly rough adventure area, especially as nothing in this land. Not its inhabitants, the monsters or ruins are going to take it easy on you. More abandoned settlements and ruins dot the land then actual towns and cities. Due to the nomadic lifestyle of the population, in an attempt to avoid plague because of heavily populated area's, its not uncommon for travelers to go missing.
Because of a lack of centralized government, the harsh and often unforgiving nature of the area has given rise to a more insular and clan mentality. Which is more often then not, deadly to strangers and outsiders. Whether you are killed for being different, refused entry because they believe you to be a carrier of plague or simply robbed for the valuable's you have is all a part of life in Iobaria.
The strong survive and the weak perish, you have what you hold and if your not careful.
You'll die.
That said I will be really enjoying making this campaign area, the fights could prove tedious but the disease mechanic means that there is the chance that your enemie won't be something you can kill with a blade. Magical healing will be a must but it also means that a healer can make some decent coin! Well... If they aren't the most kind hearted that is as most sell their services usually only enough to cover casting costs.
Oracles, Clerics and Shamans will be held in higher regard in a land as damned as this one. They will also suffer te worst if they fail to stop a sickness or just plain run afoul of unforgiving mobs that expect them to be MORE powerful then a mortal can actually be.
That said, fighters, cavaliers and barbarian warlords can capture a lot of power too. The towns are mostly small, the villages are isolate and easy to pick off. Granted you have some competition that needs to die first.
Pretty much every class has its place, save for the eastern ones. Gunslingers will have a rough time but Alchemists could definitely gain some respect as 'Mystics' in their own right because of their extracts and bombs~
It is also the land where Choral the Conqueror came from before he crushed Issia and Rostland to create the nation fo Brevoy.
So much potential, I want to make something before the Dev's do! xD

DM Corerue |

Post up in main thread. Flynn has taken damage. Freddie and Fidget are OOC (Out of Commission) until they start posting. Sorry Flynn it rolled a crit but at least it didn't confirm.
Iobaria update
Got pretty much all the available information for Iobaria put together on my tablet. Working on buildingthe first Human adventures and starting all encounter tables from scratch. Located a Hex grid map for the eventual Kingmaker side of it. So now I can assign towns and random locations with ease. Have to make sure it is too size and assign a hex grid = x miles pattern.
All and all, its looking good. May be a few months before I have anything concrete. I want to make this gritty, realistic and aove all adventurerous! I will be using the experiance of frigid temperatures, little cover and howling winds. Snowstorms and other enviromental annoyances from what I live with in alaska come winter time.
I picture Iobaria being much like Alaska in this regard. Warm/Hot Spring time, Warmer Summers, Cooler Falls and Cooler to cold ass winters. Mix in a lot of Sunny, Rainy, Windy and Snowy days and its a perfect Iobaria. WE even have enough mountainous terrain up here too lol!

DM Corerue |

@Flynn Any luck? Or do I need to start recruiting. I mean you guys can carry on for a few days (hours in game) on your own but... Even with good stats you won't be able to take this ap alone at 1st.
Iobaria update
14 random encounter tables made for Iobaria
Disease table created, at present time it is a rare thing unless your moving through places designated as Plague XXX (City, Dungeon, Burial sites) then your asking for trouble.
Just an FYI.
Anywho, got class levels assigned for the thirteen main rulers, NPC's of Iobaria.
All settlements have been assigned a Settlement statistic. All and all its looking good.
Making a map for Orlov and the other two major cities.
Orlov is going to be fun as it will be a mixture of Urban adventure, dungeons (abandoned sections of the city!) and of course monster bashing!
Work in progress! But looking good.
Campaign traits being made...

Flynn Fastclaw |

Welp. I've told the guys to post, and they never did. So I suppose you should just recruit. I'd like to submit a new character if possible, Flynn isn't really useful without his brothers.

I think I'd like to see what happens before I decide on my next character. As much as I love a Swashbuckler I may finally have been sated.
