Name: Iazamaz(IZ),He who walks among us, the impossible one, the shifter of shape

Race:Ethereals (ET)
Domains:Discovery and wizardry
Home:Volcanic mountains
Advancement:Armor

Iazamaz is the god of self-identity and form.because of this,he is a god of many forms, and each race sees him as one of their own, though the god retains his garb of a cloak that covers his face in shadow, and a mask that hides the rest of his face. His godly form resembles a vaguely humanoid figure who radiates wisps of energy. He believes that all folk should find their purpose in life through him or with his guidance, and thus his worshippers often do not last very long, though the god himself agrees this is for the best.

His servitor race is the Ethereals.A race of radiant humanoid Figures with spindly limbs which extend and change shape in order to fill the needs of the ethereals.Like iazamaz, the ethereals are a race of shapeshifters, and often place themselves among the ranks of other races, embodying the race's physical aspects while retaining their minds. However, they enjoy putting their own personal touches on their forms, resulting in the show of their true identity as goblins who are too tall, grasvolk made of inorganic material such as paper or male orizaba appear alongside their original counterparts.

Great character concept! I'll add you to the map shortly. I'll also edit it to give some more volcanic mountains bunched together in one area (your home area).

You're up on the map now.

I rearranged a few things on the map to accomodate you. I am tryin gto give a nice, even spread of players more or less.

I'd hold off on it for a few turns until it is opened. Everyone is 6 spaces away from it, though, just some might have an easier way to get to it than others.

Okay guys. Hopefully our last player will have everything set tonight! Then we can officially start posting turns and all that jazz.

yep i am good where ever you start me out, in what ever wetland hill or flat.

Great. I have you at flat wetlands and will just keep ya there.

Name: Celios, The Observer, The Roadmaker, Lord of Secrets, The Trickster
Name Code: CEL
Domains: Discovery, Travel

Race: Wayfarers
Race Code: WF
Home Terrain: Volcanic Hills
Advancement: Survival

Background:

Celios is a trickster god, the patron of a people who simply call themselves the Wayfarers. Prior to his arrival, they were a reclusive and isolated people, who lived lives dedicated entirely to research. Celios taught them that there are secrets hidden throughout the world, and that true enlightenment can only come by experiencing the world directly. So his people set to wandering.

Or rather, he set them to wandering by changing their nature: the people he found were intensely reclusive, content to hide themselves away and ignore the outside world. So he changed them so that they became what some consider almost parasitic beings: they need the constant new sensation of travel and interaction with outsiders in order to experience anything at all. They deny this necessity, of course, but their curiosity is not just a cultural feature, but a powerful need built into the very fiber of their beings.

Hell yes. We're all set. I am going to post the beginning turn and we can start this game right!

Rule clarification: All terrain bonuses come into affect the turn AFTER settlement/conquering.

Also, you do not gain terrain bonuses from non-settled/conquered squares. Just moving a force through a square does not grant you anything.

Oh, Iazamaz, I put your code as IZM on the map. Gods always go by three letter codes, this is to avoid confusion with the 2 letter race codes.

Name: Grotar, He Who Shakes The Earth
Name Code: GRO
Domains: Discovery, War

Race: Goblins
Race Code: GB
Home Terrain: Flat Wetlands
Advancement: (none)

Background:

From the void, Grotar comes, devouring the puny Mother of Goblins, even as his bloody cultists among her people round up her priestesses and zealots and burn them in great sacrificial bonfires. The wiser goblins submit and are made strong. The cowardly goblins speak no word against them. For as it was foretold, all shall tremble, when Grotar comes.

Updated for Grotar in Mog's old stamping grounds.

I'll update tonight.
