Congrats to those chosen! I hope I get grabbed up for another table!

Well folks, this really was incredibly difficult. With the number of good applicants I did decide to take 1 character for each god- it made choosing even harder, I think, but it just feels so right to do it that way. About a second table... I've heard from two different people that have an interest in running a second table, one of them was talking like he was 100% on it, though I'm not sure about his timing. The bottom line is keep watching this thread because there's a very high likelyhood that a second table will materialize.

Now, without further ado... after much agonizing, table 1 will be:
Abadar- Tera Flinders
Desna- Zache Kovachi
Erastil- Salomae Amsel
Gozreh- Roakkad Shrikkir-tsha
Sarenrae- Kaelaah
Shelyn- Kaede Mayumi

I'm on my way to a family function but I'll have the discussion thread up later today. With the holiday craziness I'm giving everyone until Monday the 28th to check in (but I may replace you if you miss that deadline). Good luck everyone on round 2 of the recruitment! future GMs, any objections to me tossing a character into the mix for your recruitment?

I think you made great choices. Roakkad Shrikkir-tsha was one of my favorites and I am looking forward to seeing him develop. I can't argue with Kaede Mayumi as the chosen on Shelyn. Her background was amazing. Good luck to all and I look forward to following your adventures!

Thank you very much. All of these characters are very impressive. Roakkad has definitely come alive for me and I look forward to seeing where the AP takes him.

I often offer feedback to those who weren't selected but the honest truth is that most of your applications were great and a lot of the decisions really came down to trying to craft a balanced party with 1 player from each god... I really hope there are 1 or even 2 more tables because there are a lot of great characters I couldn't pick.

Also, the discussion thread is open for those selected to table 1.

Thank you for the selection and I'll keep my fingers crossed that some more of these characters get picked up for a second and maybe even a third table!

Thanks for the selection GM - finally, an opportunity to experience Paizo's first AP!!! Looking forward to it very much :-) ...and good luck to everyone else looking to get in on a second table...

Congratulations and good luck to the chosen of table 1.

Eagerly awaiting the results for table(s) 2 (and 3?). Good luck to the rest of us.

I pulled the trigger on the Rise of the Runelords 10th anniversary edition. I will be tabling a party from the submissions that did not get accepted to Table 1.

My focus will be on submissions from players who have few or no active Campaigns here on the boards.

EDIT: I will be selecting 7 submissions as I prefer odd member numbers in parties.

Hear hear...any idea when we can hope to learn if we made the cut for the second table? (I've been furiously refreshing here before...so if you want to take a day or two, that would be kind to know before i break my F5 key ;) )

AS we have not heard from the other DM I will make my selections tonight after my daughter goes to bed. She is watching star wars light saber duels right now :-)

Thanks for the quick response - (and good to hear your daughter is getting a proper education ;) )

Selections for Table Two (as it turns out).

Abadar - Marcelano Alazario – Human Fighter - Played by HenshinFanatic.

Desna - Lia Tani – Human Arcanist (Blood Arcanist; Dreamspun Bloodline) - Played by MordredofFairy. &
Rojava Brishen – Human Bard - Played by rdknight. .

(I will withdraw Talene's submission leaving Table 3 to Matrim assuming the next DM picks a follower of each God. Those of you in my game may see Talene as an NPC!)

Erastil - Hudok – Human Monk (Qinggong, Zen Archer) - Played by The Wyrm Ouroboros.

Gozreh - Thorn 'Rat' – Human Druid - Played by TwelvePointFivePercent.

Sarenrae - Karina of the Flame – Half –Orc Paladin (Divine Defender, Warrior of the Holy Light, Sacred Shield) - Played by Demon Lurking.

Shelyn - Gwyddym Soarsong – Human Bard - Played by Bimpnottin Daergel.

Character creation is complete, I like the idea of the chosen and Domain as Nate initially posed so that will stay static.

EDIT: The Discussion Thread.

Grats to those who made it and good luck to those hoping for table three.
:)

Huzzah!

That's a good looking table, and there are still a lot of great applicants left! I'm really rooting for a 3rd table.

Man, I can't believe I didn't get into the second table either! :(

Here's hoping for a third!

I also selected Rojava Brishen – Human Bard -- Forgot to BOLD the name.

Sorry Pehmah, I loved your build but I was focused on selecting players with less PbP experience.

If it's any consolation, I am the DM that was on the fence about running a campaign. So the DM left was the one who was, from what Nate seems to have said, 100% committed to running another table.

You and me both!

May I ask how you determined experience? (Just curious.)

I drilled down into Aliases and looked at activity in prior Campaigns or lack thereof as well as overall Post counts.

In addition to that I took at least one selection from each God.

Finally, I looked at the party total mix of classes to make sure that the bases were generally covered.

Good to see several more characters getting a home! Fingers crossed that the mysterious Third GM will show themselves to pick up a few more :)

Sorry- I missed that you had 2 Desnans in the mix

Tis ok, I was the one that forgot to Bold the name!

Yep! I'm in with the 2nd table.

Congrats to those who made it in!

yay, congrats to Team 2...and best of luck to those others for Table 3.

Hey all, this is Matrim. I have been having fun with family over the holidays. I'll pick a group for table three tomorrow, after i look over the candidates.

Thanks! I can easily rework a few things and switch to Desna if you want party members from each faith. Just let me know and I will switch a couple of things around so it works.

I think this goes for any of us who are interested.

=)

Okay. After waking up and looking over the remaining characters. I am selecting the following. Also, i am selecting 7 as well.

Abadar - Xarmas Misinirith (Druid Feral Shifter)
Desna - Rojava Brishen (Bard)
Erastil - Karmid Groundbreaker (Ranger)
Gozreh - Arkon the Thunderer (Druid Shaman) & Pehmah Yonten (Monk)
Sarenrae - Milton McMurray (Arcanist)
Shelyn - Nikolai Radavaski (Inquisitor)

The discussion is set up here.
New url, here
Please go ahead and introduce your characters to each other.

Best of luck to you guys :) Even if you stole joyful Rojava away from us -

Abadar
Teobold Valdemar – Human Inquisitor

Erastil
Tony Sinclair – Human Inquisitor

Shelyn
Arimna Tressen – Human Summoner
Iskra Kustov – Human Wizard (Air Elementalist)

It seems are PC's without seats for this AP. Let me know if I missed anyone?

Nate, are you running a second table on your own? If not perhaps these players would be interested in another AP? [I can't run the same one twice as I KNOW I will get confused on who is doing what :-)]

before grabbing up everybody for other tables/AP's(a noble gesture, certainly), we should take a few days to check if everybody on the other tables really checks in...one or more tables may be in need of replacements right away...

after those setup-days, I'm all cheering for you giving everybody a home somewhere-

Storyteller Shadow, that's a generous offer. If you are serious, and if you feel you have time, would you consider running Iron Gods? I'd love to jump into that AP--with a different character, I rush to add--and I seem to remember from a recent thread that there's a lot of demand for it.

Mordred made a fair point, if anyone does no show the DM's have a pool to pick from.

Unfortunately I do not have Iron Gods. I already own the following:

Shackled City, and
Age of Worms (which I completed for my Table Top group so I am very familiar with it).

So the Classics.

If none of the 4 of you are interested in those we will see what we can work out (assuming no drop outs on other tables).

Man, passed over three times! I think I'm going to scrap this alias but good. Yikes!

Gee, maybe I should finish digitizing my app.
Though, with my luck I'd be a lonely unpicked singleton.
:)

There has been behind the scenes table jumbling so I think a spot may open. If it does not I am still willing to run a pbp for those not picked as per above, if there is no interest no worries.
