I was waiting for folks ahead of me in the initiative order I figured the enemies position would change before I acted.

I tried logging on a couple of times and got the purple goblin screen. I have no problem if speed calls for being botted.

Hey guys, I updated over a week ago but I guess the post got eaten.

Sejanus hasn't posted in over a month and missed his last 2 turns. So for now I will bot him. If he doesn't return by the time you escape this island and finally get to rickety squibs we'll see about recruiting another ranged PC.

Excellent. I think we already lost Sejanus a while ago before I put a hold on the game so it's 4 for now. You might have an inquisitor joining you once you get to Rickety Squibs to refit your ship.

You are all level 4 since defeating the Queen and her monstrous Son.

You also gain 1 mythic tier with a few alterations that I will post after work. Thanks for continuing playing.

This is RH's 'other' character Taicho. a black powder inquisitor of Hei Feng, He considers himself a 'Jinx eater' so good luck for a pirate crew. Preferred weapon is a pistol.

Take a look at his build, if I can answer any question fire away. As for personality, I've played him one other time as a 'warpriest' his personality will run true. So, yeah, he may be nuts...

Welcome Taicho, sounds like a fun character.

Yeah getting there Diamondust, 4th level was easy, Mythic level has taken a bit more reading (having never used the mythic stuff before) and still a few decisions to make , but biggest issue is finding a chance to type up the changes. Hopefully be done in the next day or two.

This crew seems to operate well together and several members are crazy.. we have a strength priest, a mad scientist.. a freebooter (sideways glance).. and the captain, who seems to have been a good choice... so yeah you should fit in.

Jord is more and more realising he needs to focus on repairing this lot and only occasionally indulge in bashing a creature over the head.


Taicho will need to have a different reason for being mythic since you weren't on the island with them when they got hit by the artifact's magic.


That's fine, or he can skip the 'mythic tier' this time around...

Let me know what you want him to do, I've read through some of the mythic stuff but I'm not super familiar with it.

I'm looking at the mythic powers and there is one called Display of Charisma which gives +20 to a charisma roll for 1 mythic power.

Is this too powerful?


No it won't be contagious or with potential to spread in any way. If you don't want to be mythic right now that is fine I will work something up.

The Displays are a fine use of mythic power. Remember to read the balance change post that I linked and check if anything you are choosing is in that so you use the balanced version.

Are we max HP or alternating?

Being Captain I went Marshall Path. And chose the power that grants sneak attack to everyone that just seemed extra pirate.

While auditing things I think I had one to many feats. I dropped Combat Reflexes. With my fighter bonus feet I chose Weapon Focus Cutlass and for my Mythic Bonus Feat I chose Weapon Focus Buckler.
