Hyena Attacks
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 101d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5 against Gloin
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 81d6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8 Against Sunset
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 121d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9 against Gloin
as Utarah is outside the room yelling, a bolt sticking out of one of them as it attacks, the other one on Sunset seems to be staggering even as it attacks.

Gloin swings away... (Round 2)
Seeing that he is fighting against 2 of them gloin goes into fightng defensivly
Warhammer 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 71d8 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5. (Gloin AC 23)
Utarah, you can end your stuff, save some for the following combats...
Gm Desert Of Fate
Hyena Attacks
Hyena 1 on Gloin (7HP left)
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 231d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Hyena 2 on Gloin (13HP Left)

Hyena 3 On Sunset (4HP Left)
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 51d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Thankfully it seems that the Gnolls are use to the Hyena noises or they cannot hear them. But as some feet beats tracks into the room from the door towards the right of where you entered a figure bursts in morningstar in hand.
Thankfully it doesn't appear to be a Gnoll but a holy man from the Caravan.
[ooc]
rolling to confirm crit on Gloin
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 52d6 + 6 ⇒ (4, 4) + 6 = 14
Utarah Sareesh
Utarah recognizes the holy man from the caravan and calls "Always nice to see a fresh face!" He then shoots at the wounded hyena on Gloin.
to hit: 1d20 + 6 - 4 ⇒ (19) + 6 - 4 = 21, damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
Edit: Woohoo that's a crit threat, rolling confirmation
1d20 + 6 - 4 ⇒ (1) + 6 - 4 = 3, damage 2d8 + 2 ⇒ (7, 7) + 2 = 16
Also, not continuing performance after this round, make with the stabbing while the stabbing is good
Riggar
Rigger will look at the group of grills and in Dwarven,

Rigger will charge the nearest Gnoll if possible, otherwise will move and attack or double move to closest Gnoll.

You see Sunset this dwarf is already so drunk on battle hormones he sees Gnolls instead of Hyenas. And his gonna get Hammered ! Truly sorry to point out that you can't take power attack at level 1 ...And nice roll there on your first appearance.
Gm Desert Of Fate
sorry the long wait
The sounds of battle rage through the room the Hyena's getting smashed now by two weapons and a bolted in the side.
Raggar's blow easily fells the Hyena on Sunset and between the blows from the bolt and Gloin's hammer they fell the other. The third Hyena takes his likely only shot on Gloin as he has no where to retreat from his home.
Hyena (13HP)
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 201d6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
Gloin son of Azgal ForgeHammer
Gloin had been able to deflect that list bite at the last moment with his shield, smiling he then counter attack.
Moving 5ft in order to re position myself if it gives me a flank position.
Warhammer 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 191d8 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9 add +2 if flanking
i believe that with that blow it die, hurry everyone.
Gloin son of Azgal ForgeHammer
Should we resume our exploration of this temple? he says with a big grin on his face, then looking at the wound on his right arm, he tends it a little it, makes a quick bandage.
Good thing that i am a heavy armored dwarf, caus a few bites barely ripped on my armor any thinner armor and well... finishing up the binding There now that should do the trick, lets move one shall we.
Riggar
Rigger will wipe off the Gnoll guts off on the sand at his feet, the proceed in whatever direction his new group is headed.
Shall we find o mans daughter as we can get the hell outta ere. As much as me love o fight I love me a cold ale just o much. Lets take these mangy mutts down an quick, so I can get me drink on Ruggar will say while going deeper into the cave.
Gloin son of Azgal ForgeHammer
Most certainly, i am sure he will tell us all about him, once we get big pint of Ale in his hands. But what is most certain is that he isn't from here, cause he appears to be a very confused dwarf. He is mistaking Hyenas for Gnolls and a Temple dedicated to ancient magic for a cave
Gloin son of Azgal ForgeHammer
Hey Watch it Flame Boy, i was the one who told you all about this place and what it reminded me off, He is pointing at the dwarf the one who is currently confused and no seeing things straight. Come on Utarah Hyenas for Gnolls? he replied amused.
Riggar
Underground is all the same to me lass. Whether it be a ancient temple or cave tunnels. 'Tis where I feel home is the under earth. Much as your pointy-ear folk feel at home in the beauty o the forest. He takes a deep breath, soaking in the earthen scents before continuing.
As far as tis temple goes, i aint much for the arcane. Me more of the divine sorts. I draw me power from the might of Gorum. He gives me strength to overcome whatever in me way. Should it be these filthy mutts, gnolls or whatever ancient magic is within the cave. Ya don't wanna be standing in the way of me trusty morningstar, lest you wanna meet ya maker, he replies in a deep voice while cleaning off his morningstar from the battle.
He clears his throat after his little speech then turns the warhammer wielding human, whose mindset is clearly Dwarven in nature mmore then any human he has ever met before, as to why me is here, is simple. The Shiek sent me here, in a way. He sent me with his initial scouting party after the initial attack by these foul beasts. We scoured the land, but was only able to dispatch a small force of the mutts and their masters. I returned back for a good ale and a bit o rest, when he had told me about the lot o you. He said his gut told him to send more muscle your way. Me left with a guide in the direction he sent you. Came upon an area littered with dead mangy mutt. The guide left me here, told me to do my thing. Hence I followed the sounds of battle, and came upon the endings of a ferocious battle. He smiles and laughs heartily at the thought of the battle, if only I had arrived sooner, me weapon needs more 'breaking' in Riggar thinks to himself.
Mock me all ya want, I may be lost, but I never been much o guide, more the fighter. I know my strengths and me brawn is me asset, with some divine inspiration to add when needed Riggar smiles and flexes his stocky arms.
Sunset.
Sunset nods simply as Riggar's exposition takes place, her eyes never leaving their search for foes, however. At Gloin's words she does turn, an eyebrow arched and a faint smile upon her lips.
"Indeed...manmade..." She says from where she looks out into the rest of the complex, her gaze firmly on Gloin as she speaks...
Shall we move on? Who wants to go where next?
Gm Desert Of Fate
Amusingly enough the doorway that the new Caravaneer came from, was the same main entrance room that you all had entered from before, by luck it seems the trap at the entrance has still not gone off their, however there is the other passage way further in the Hyena's room.
As looks down the passage several statues line the walls. However it seems that the statues themselves are seven on each side, lined up with there double on the opposite wall. Under the statues in script on the left are each written a single sin, but on the right the writing is of Virtues, but the statues themselves are indeed the same person. With garments that appear to be arcane casters of some sort.
Gloin son of Azgal ForgeHammer
Indeed man made, as i did not recognize any dwarven or elven stone masonry as gloin moves forward at a very slow pace. Trying to hide most of his upper body behind his buckler. While at the same time looking left and right at the statues.
Moving forward in total defense +4AC. DM can roll what ever knowledge is appropriate.
Gm Desert Of Fate
Gloin's Perception Roll 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19
Utarah: Dungeoneering, their are stories of such statues being disguised as rock in order conceal traps.
Gloin: As you move forward you can see bits of 'stone' falling off some of the statues iron bodies underneath, the a faint sound can be heard and the air feels strangely oily here.
Gm Desert Of Fate
As the group moves forward through the hall chamber, the oily feeling increases as a sudden burst of electrical energy flings through the hall from statue to statue.
Reflex Saves DC 15 for half damage
Electrical damage4d6 ⇒ (1, 3, 1, 4) = 9
Gloin 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
Utarah 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
Sunset 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Riggar 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (18) + 0 = 18
Sunset.
Sunset settle her hair and steps back to where ever the party has stopped/regrouped.
"Okay...that was...unpleasant....." She glares at the statues, "We should keep an eye out for traps. Though we might not be able to make them completely safe. Being ready for the floor to drop out from under people might be a benefit..."
