The random dice generator hates me, so it's a good thing that actual dice don't.

Hello, this is Emily, posting under the alias that will eventually be the character I'm using for this campaign.
To create an alias for a character, do this stuff:
1. Click on your name at the top middle of the screen (where it says "Welcome, Your Name!")
2. In the gray bar just below "Welcome, Your Name!" on the new page, click "My Account"
3. Enter your password
4. Scroll down a little bit. On the left half of the screen will be a box that says Messageboard Aliases. Click Create New Alias!
5. Enter your Character's Name, pick a faction if you want (it doesn't make any actual difference) then add an Avatar Image.
Then when you go to post, you can select your new Alias to post as! You can change the picture associated with your Alias by following the above steps 1-3, then clicking Edit next to the appropriate Alias.
To change the profile of your character, do Step 1, then click the Aliases tab, then click the character's name/picture, and then "Edit My Profile."

Also noteworthy- when you do Step 1 and then choose the Campaigns tab, you can see a list of campaigns you are part of. All you need to do to see if there's a new post is refresh that page! Make sure you've posted once in Discussion and once in Gameplay (that's why Evey posted "Dot" in the Gameplay thread) and then any time there's a new post, it'll tell you on your campaigns page :D
