Linpul drops her hammer and draws her dagger (provoking one AoO) before spinning to the side and swinging her dagger in a wide arc at the creature. Only then does she realize she might have placed herself in more danger.

The beetle lunges forward, mandibles stretched wide and reaching for anything the giant vermin can latch on to, utilizing the opening that Linpul made for it.

Thera punches one of the lobotomites, and before she can punch it again, it falls down. Linpul dodges the human's slow greatclub, then cuts it weakly with a dagger. Tetsujda jumps in and again rips into this creature's stomach, pulling viscera from its body.
Lendaro blasts the last human in the back of the head with his pistol. A small amount of blood and brain matter sprays onto Rakdon.

As the last of the things falls, Solaria speaks up, "Anyone injured and in need of Desna's warm healing, before we move on?"
She looks at the fallen creatures hoping to learn more about them, whether they were still living or some sort of undead?

Once complete, Solaria places her hands on the ropes around the northern tube, using Desna's grace she looks at the contents of the tube.
Solaria will channel if there are mutliple people injured, excluding the things.

Dr Lendaro nudges the ratfolk with a toe, and speaks loudly.
"You there. We are currently laying to waste the entire vile enclave of Smilers. Does that make you friend or foe?"

The naked ratfolk opens its eyes and looks at Lendaro. "Who're you? Some kind of smiler scum. Oh, if I only had my crossbow, I'd gut ya. Wait... You're not a smiler."
He stands up proudly, uncaring of his nudity, and adds, "Thanks for saving me. Guess you guys are the good guys, unless you're some new gang I haven't heard of."
"Alright. We should get out of here. I'm sure you're plenty strong, but Marrow's a necromancer!"

"Sounds like he should find out what being dead is really like under Pharesma's judgement." says Solaria. "But are you willing to give a hand if we can devise a plan to remove the unholy magician." she asks.

Linpul tosses her short sword towards the ratfolks feet.
"Unfortunately I don't have a spare suit of armor, but I do have a shield if you would have it and a sling and some bullets. If you need it I have a long handled weapon that's multifuntional. I would recommend staying behind the beetle, once he starts moving he doesn't stop."

Sarainy thinks he's telling the truth. Whether he can be relied upon or trusted is debatable as he's a ganger and a scrapper.
Whiskifiss picks up the short sword and shakes his head. "A sling? What am I some kind of caveman? Or a halfling? The name's Whiskifiss, second in command of Redtooth's Raiders."

Dr Lendaro instantly finds the ver-man's demeanor endearing... dynamics with rescued victims (whether spewing praise, or clinging, or in need of "comforting") are often so awkward. The rarely-used muscles in the corners of his mouth twitch upward slightly.
"Well there are significantly fewer Smilers fouling the air since you've been out. I am Dr Lendaro."... with a quick nod.
"You are welcome to join us Whiskfiss, or make your way out. If you decide to take leave, be sure to stop by later when we auction off Smiler memorabilia."
Dr Lendaro then makes sure the others notice he is about to open the door.

Whiskifiss glances at the door. "Uh, I think I'll stay with you guys. You know, in case you need my expertise with gang related information."
Lendaro opens the door.
This large chamber contains several metal tables adorned with tangles of strange devices sporting metallic, articulated arms, many of which end in blades, needles, saws, or other implements of surgery. The whole area reeks of blood and old guts, and telltale rusty brown stains besmirch the floor and walls. Lighting is provided by several burning skulls sitting here and there throughout the room.
A hobgoblin in a labcoat Marrow stares at the door, while four undead/machine hybrids stand at the northern and southern walls, drill arms spinning.
"Why hello there? I was running out of fresh ingredients, and food. Thankfully, you've brought some."

Thera moves up to one of the strange robotic undead and strikes it with a swift roundhouse kick.

The robots lurch to life (sure) and move close to the Linpul and Thera, stab and bite at them with their metal pieces.
Marrow moves south of the room, lines up with Linpul, Tetsuda, and Uran and unleashes a bolt of lightning from her hand.

Solaria knows they are zombies of some kind, likely humans mixed with metal parts.
Two of the robots clamber atop the table and face Solaria, staring at her with their dead faces. The one to the north stabs at Thera. The one to the south clambers over Linpul's unconscious form and stabs its drill at Tetsuda.
