DMPC Pulsifer: Pulsifer hits Righty again with the magic missiles. 2d6+2=7
Righty goes down twitching with Jon's slash spurting and Mr Eldritch's smoking signature fried into his chest.
Hagnoose, rattled by the gouts of blood spurting from the artery Cordoba flicked open and the bear slashing at his flank, swings at Hoktsu again: 1d20+5=15, 1d12+3=4. Hitting but leaving only an insignificant gash in the quick gnome's left arm. Fear is in his eyes.
Zahn pulls a feather from a pouch, points it at Thel, and begins incanting, "informis risus humor"... cast defensively: 1d20+10=15 fails.
Behind the bar, the ogre twitches and sweats... for a moment it stands quiet, then roars.

Captain Gravid Book |

<Looking into Thel's eyes.>
"Well my ugly little halfling, your friends are doing well but let's make no mistake that you're going to die before my friend and I make our escape."
The other rapier leaps into his hands...
1d20+6=7, 1d20+2=8, 1d20+6=16. His attacks all miss, the last one cutting through the door frame like a scythe through harvest wheat.

Round 3
.
.
.
27 The Deceiver: Init +7 (DEX 16)
24 Brother Domo: Init +4 (DEX 18)
23 Rohit Faris: Init +3 (DEX 16)
23 Aref Sami Sharokh: Init +3 (DEX 16)
22 Herald of Death: Init +2 (DEX 14)
21 Hoktsumisso: Init +1 (DEX 13)
21 Rackham Pulsifer: Init +1 (DEX 13)
21 Jon Qiang: Init +1 (DEX 12)
17 Hagnoose
16 Book
14 Righty
12 Zahn
10 Vass/Ogre

Aref Sami Shahrokh |

Aref move closer to the action (O17) and begins the intoning "Lubriv'itik!" as he gestures and indicates an area beneath the feet of his friends' foes.
Casts Grease on U-V/18-19, Reflex DC16 or anyone in that area falls prone, save is repeated each round on my turn. People can move in the area at half speed if they make a DC 10 balance check, failure by 5 or more means they fall, regular failure means they make a DC 16 reflex or fall.
Then the beetle attacks-
1d20+3=23 Beetle attacks-nat 20!, 2d4+3=8 damage, 1d20+3=13 to confirm, 2d4+3=9 probably not a reconfirm unless U19 dude goes prone, so probably 8 damage (17 if a crit).

Pharasma |

Book and Zahn manage to keep their feet on the grease slicked wood: 1d20=16, 1d20=19.
DMPC: Domo double times it toward the remaining pirates.

The Herald of Death |

Still in the grip of his anger towards the Wizard, Thelonius lays into him with a mighty swing of his Khopesh, slicing it deeply across Zahn's torso.
Attack Zahn with +1 Khopesh (Raging). (1d20+10=30)
Confirm Critical Hit. (1d20+10=25)
Damage (Critical, Raging). (1d8+5=9, 1d8=2)

Hoktsumisso |

Teddy continues his attacks
Att 17 damage 7 ; Att 14 Damage 7 and his bite miss
Hoktsumisso waits to see the result ...

Rackham Pulsifer |

Rackham, not even seeming to notice the dagger in his back, moves slightly closer towards Book, dropping his staff and raising his hands. He speaks calmly and firmly, repeating his message to the bar patrons and his fellow party members.
"I would suggest that you get out of my way."
Red sparks dance across Rackham's skin and clothing as his hands clench into fists, glowing with a deep crimson aura. Spidery blue veins bulge from his arms, neck, and forehead, the air humming with power. Blood begins to seep from the corners of his eyes. Once more, he speaks, quietly at first, then louder, rising to a stentorian roar as he releases his spell.
"Please. Get of MY WAY!"
A blinding beam of white-hot energy explodes from between Rackham's outstretched hands, burning his skin and singing his robes, streaking toward Captain Book.
You can tell I've been reading China Mieville. Rackham casts scorching ray, ranged touch: 15 + 1 (Dex) = 16; damage: 4d6 = 17. Does caster level get factored into the touch attack? I can never remember that one.

Pharasma |

Then the beetle attacks...
The beetle rends Zahn's legs. Pulling him in across the grease. Sorry just forgot to reply.
Teddy continues his attacks
...
Hoktsumisso waits to see the result ...
The bear drags Hagnoose down... down and bleeding out on the floor.
A blinding beam of white-hot energy explodes from between Rackham's outstretched hands, burning his skin and singing his robes, streaking toward Captain Book.
Book twists aside, wobbles on the grease, then rights himself. AC 18

The Herald of Death |

Is there any reason I shouldn't post their ACs on the init list for everyone? That way you guys know if you hit and can write it in.
It's up to you really, but I know that generally after a round or two of attacking something you can generally have a pretty educated guess at an enemy's AC.

Rackham Pulsifer wrote:Touch AC 18? I'm screwed.Damn. Must have looked at the wrong box. I think it's 15 but I can't say for sure til I look at his sheet at home. Did you take your -4 for shooting into melee?
I thought I would cover my bases by yelling at everyone to get out of the way, so no. I will, though.

15 + 1 - 4 = 12.

lol... Kruel will come back after his work overload and we will have 2 pages of the skit written out in the meantime! :D

Pharasma |

Ok my shit is together.
In the last year I went from a modest low responsibility job - teaching - into a company where I went from the bottom right up into the executive in a year. WTF. Sorry for all the delays.
Where the f+!& did Jon go? IAN!!!! He's not answering his cell phone.
Looking for my stats on the remaining pirates...Book where the f~+% are you?
<sifts through a pile of fashion contacts from France.>

The Herald of Death |

So, is this officially dead or is there still any life left in the corpse? Do we need to find a Miracle Man?
Kruel has taken on an increased workload and has been quite sick to boot! I think he would like to get back to the Boards, but unfortunately not in the forseeable future. I would keep an eye on the game just in case though, I'd like to think it's not dead :)

Let's keep it alive until he gets back.

The Herald of Death |

I live. I love you guys. I'm so sorry.
Life was just fricking crazy. Work draining me creatively, helping my family, and a new allergy...
So now I can't consume alcohol, caffeine, chocolate, or MSG. I'm allergic to cigarettes, although onliy slightly. The only intocxicant I have left is benadryl.
Man that sucks. So people are gonna start to think you're a Drug Baron when you mysteriously start to buy up all of their cough syrup?
"Well that should take care of these bastards... they're in Pharasma's care now"
