Rokkad |

"I could use the wand and I would like one of the healing potions. Other than that, let us get some rest and continue towards the goblins camp. Unless, of course, the cards point you in another direction?" Rokkad answers with an arched eyebrow and the faintest of smiles.

DavianGrallus |
Which location do you want to know more about, Mitsuko?
I did mean Walthus. -.- no idea how that became Wampus! xD
Excellent! You now have a wakizashi Ikoma :P
As the adventurers settle and make camp the last drizzles of rain finish. Waking up the next morning they find that the spider is gone from the cave, most likely out on some sort of prowl for breakfast.
Now realizing the danger of the thorns that guard the entrance to the cave, the group is more than capable of cutting their way through the poisonous and troublesome barrier to find a beautiful day awaiting them outside.
Unfortunately due to the rain, and the swamp's natural environment, it is also extremely humid. DC's to save against fatigue are going to be induced after 6 hours of travel instead of 8
1 for Walthus, 1 for Goblin Camp. Feel free to take your time determining a direction, and rolling to learn about where you would be going for each destination.

Shalewen |

Despite the bandaging and a good night's sleep, Shadow was still limping in the morning. Shalewen would have preferred to rest another night at least but Ikoma was right. They had a mission. And its not like they hadn't dealt with worst odds. She'd keep him close and use him sparingly. Only one thing could make them return. She looks at Mitsuko and her pack where the letter resided. "How important is that?"

Rokkad |

Awakening refreshed and ready to take on the goblins, Rokkad summons Kokip. Noting that the avatar still shows some signs of the previous night's combat, he channels his own energy into him to restore the serpent to full fighting strength.

Arieys Mavashti |

Arieys sits by Shadow and slips him some jerky from her rations after breakfast, giving him generous ear scratches and pats to help make his struggle with a bum leg a little more bearable. She could tell Shalewen was concerned about him, even if she didn't express it.
"Ha! The Harrow can only suggest a direction to go, Uncle Rokkad! It's up to the Harrower to decide whether to walk in that direction, and mine is to the Licktoad camp!" she says when she's done, standing up and riffling through her cards for show.

Just to ensure everyone sees, everyone is at full HD and I'll be listing all your HP to keep proper track in my GM alias.
A filthy village-fort surrounded by a crude wooden palisade sits atop a low hummock of solid ground here. A wooden gate in the north wall of the palisade lies in shambles on the ground. Nearby, a large, algae-filled pool on the northeastern side breaks the palisade and allows a clearer view into the village’s interior, which consists of a collection of ramshackle huts connected by wooden walkways, all built on thick wooden stilts.
The Licktoad Goblins are one of the smallest tribes in the Sandpoint Hinterlands, but are also the closest and seemingly most dangerous threat to its people. Based on local tellings from the Sandpoint Guard, one of the goblins had been kicked out for writing. This goblin also stole, supposedly, quite a hefty amount of fireworks.
Their leader is Chief Gutwad, who is some sort of ranger and a rather formidable opponent should he be surrounded by his tribe.
A sagging one-story shack sits in this clearing, its walls dingy with age and encrusted with lichen and fungus. A partially collapsed shed sits just to the northeast, while small pouches, twisted knots of feathers, and dangling wind chimes made of bones hang from branches and roof edge alike.
Old Megus was, at least until recently, a cranky and practiced witch of the swamps. She has supposedly died due to one of her many experiments, but the shack remains with untold items and possible dangers inside. She also had a river boat of some sort that made her travels through the swamp rather easy compared to the rest.
Things and Stuff: 1d100 ⇒ 56
The party would find that it takes nearly three hours to journey from the cavern to the Licktoad Village. Luckily however, they have little need to navigate as they did the day before as the weather was seeming to cooperate in their favor.
Approaching the village they would see a rather unexpectedly impressive barricade of wooden posts and a gate to allow entry, or bar intruders. The village was also unsettlingly quiet, and at the gate was a good pile of collapsed skeleton frames and goblin bodies.

Mitsuko Kaijitsu |

"The Licktoad Goblins are one of the smallest tribes in the Sandpoint Hinterlands. Based on local tellings from the Sandpoint Guard, one of the goblins had been kicked out for writing. This goblin also stole, supposedly, quite a hefty amount of fireworks.
Then their leader is Chief Gutwad, who is some sort of ranger and a rather formidable opponent should he be surrounded by his tribe. So if we take them on we should clear out the tribe as we go. If there are skeleton's then I would say they probably tried to still from the cave."

Shalewen |

"Not afraid. Hate. Dogs too," Shalewen corrects. If Ikoma rode in there he'd likely get way ahead of the others and be the goblins' entire focus. Maybe that would work. Maybe not. It'd be extremely dangerous for him. Same for Shadow. "Ambush." It wasn't quite a question. More a statement of preference.

DavianGrallus |
As Kokip slithers towards the gate the gore becomes more and more apparent, and the scent of dead and alive goblins is overwhelmingly strong.
Despite this, the camp is rather quiet.
No rattling of skeletons is heard on the other side of the wall.

Rokkad |

"Kokip does not find any sign of skeletons, only living and dead goblins. Perhaps they are fighting among themselves?" he whispers.
Darting towards the wall, he readies his spear and slides along it until he reaches the gate, then waits for Kokip to let him know what lies beyond it.

Shalewen |

Shalewen had a hard time believing goblins defended against all these skeletons. And that they built the impressive palisade wall. They weren't known for the kind of focus it would take to build this. Something else was at work here but without investigating, she could guess all day. So, in lieu of anything meaningful to add, she follows along quietly. She darts to the other side of the gate and peers in. She was confident in her own stealth and tails Kokip as best she can. She orders Shadow to stay for now.

As you all slowly open the gate you find it to be rickety and greatly damaged. It nearly falls off as you swing it open while rope brackets grind and squeak against dry wood.
As the gate is fully opened a wild pig comes tearing across, wailing and squealing as it darts past you clearly in fear of its life. More goblin bodies, burned to ashes, can be seen just into the courtyard past a pool at the little village's front and center.
Small goblin breaths fill the otherwise silent air as the fire of the goblin bodies crackles. More dead skeletons are littered about the place, some of them with long sword still in hand. A few of them could even be recognized as the dreaded four-armed mudra, so recently faced by the party the day before.
Roll20 map has also been updated!

Kokip |

Kokip's tongue flicks out to taste the air as he slithers through the ruined bodies of the dead and undead towards the nearest building. He pokes his head in, staying close to the floor, searching for any survivors.

So the skeleton's from the cave had attacked it seemed. But why? Did the goblin's steal something they shouldn't have? Again she tries to stealth forward in the direction of goblin breathing without Shadow following.

Several goblins huddle and walk out of the front door of the guard tower H4 while Shalewen and Shadow stalk up close to it, their nervous breathing louder than ever.
Kokip sees nothing but skeleton remains and a few more dead goblins inside the small gathering of goblin hovels before him as he hears goblins come outside behind him.
Upon realizing you are not skeletons, the goblins immediately screech and bare their weapons, still having not yet seen Shalewen, though soon she and shadow would be without cover. One of them wields a Desnan Candle, clearly stolen from the cavern your group had just left.

Syeira Mavashti |

Syeira glares at the goblin with the firework and it feels a strong sense of dread.
"Don't you DARE throw that!" she says, her voice taking on an otherworldly echo.
Syeira uses her evil eye hex on the goblin with the Desnan Candle, granting it a -2 penalty to his attack rolls for 5 rounds unless it makes a DC 15 Will Save.

Shalewen |

Shalewen presses herself against the wooden wall of the watchtower when she hears the door open. She fights the urge to run as that would just cause more noise. Instead, she and Shadow move around the side of the watchtower and out of sight. Let Ikoma or Rokkad go first.

Shadow Stealth: 1d20 + 6 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 6 + 4 = 23

The goblins cut into Rokkad and Kokip as the one wielding the candle stops just short of the party's front line, unaware of the Shalewen behind him in the distance.

Shalewen had never seen what a firework could do if used as a weapon and she really didn't want to find out. Especially since it was aimed at her friends. She taps Shadow on the shoulder, tranferring a different blessing to him and sends him after the unaware goblin. Before he reaches it, she sends an arrow over his head at the same target.

It launches a tiny bolt of fire straight for Ikoma while the other attacks Rokkad.
