I do not speak goblin
Tregdorult swings his whip around, striking at the goblin before him. However this thrashing about gets Tregdorult tangled up in the weeds before him.
Attack 1: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 4 + 1 = 22
Damage 1: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Attack 2: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 4 + 1 = 24
Damage 2: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Reflex to remain unentangled: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
Confirm Crit: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 4 + 1 = 6
Extra damage if applicable: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
Hmm, definitely no crit. What do you do with that? rolling a nat 1 on a critical threat?
Now entangled at the end of that turn.

Kokip |

Kokip eyes the writhing vegetation, then slithers over to snap at the goblin attacking the horse.
Bite: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
Crit? 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16
Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9

Rokkad |

When the goblin breaks free to charge Tregdorult, Rokkad sees that that enemy will not last long and chooses a new target #6, flinging a stone at him.
Attack: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Damage: 1d3 ⇒ 1

Shalewen |

I have godlin as a language.
Shalelu would be very disappointed at her ward's performance so far. A well placed spell but it seems she'd not gotten enough archery practice.
Attack on 6+PB again: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 4 + 1 = 23
Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
Success!

Shadow the Wolf |

Bite: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Trip: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24
Too many distractions. Too much going on. Unfamiliar pack. Shadow couldn't coordinate his attack with anyone nearby well enough to make any headway. Most of the time he was snapping his jaws at nothing but air.

The last of the goblins are slaughtered suddenly and unexpectedly by the goblins, at once. Wind Spirit hooves one to death while Kokip finally finds its mark, executing another.
Mitsuko and Shalewen's arrows hone in on the remaining and damaged goblins, knocking them dead as "Tree's" whip knocks others unconscious to the ground.
Three goblins lay unconscious- two in the soon to fade entanglement of Shalewen, and another off to the side where Shalewen and Shadow had once stood.
Despite the falling of night, Mitsuko's song to valor for the champions had aided in bringing the martial and casters unified front to victory in just a few quick moments.
As to what they would do about the darkness, four fires still crackling away, remained to yet be seen or heard.
What will you do next? Will you push forward in the darkness, risking fatigue? Make camp? Or something else entirely? I will monitor the conversation over this weekend closely so I can chime in during the RP now and again.
Goblins chew and goblins bite,
Goblins cut and goblins fight,
Stab the dog and cut the horse,
Goblins eat and take by force!
Goblins race and goblins jump,
Goblins slash and goblins bump,
Burn the skin and mash the head,
Goblins here and you be dead!
Chase the baby, catch the pup,
Bonk the head to shut it up!
Bones be cracked, flesh be stewed,
We the goblins—you the food!

Mitsuko Kaijitsu |

"Agreed, after we have moved these bodies away. Don't want carrion feeders to come into camp. What about the ones who aren't dead?" She would ask even as she slung her bow and moved forward seeing if the goblins had anything of value.
She had magic but it was not of the healing variety. Hers was more combat oriented.

Rokkad |

Rokkad stabs at the goblins on the ground with his spear to make sure they will never attack anyone again. "We should leave them where they lay and make camp away from here, in case any more of the goblins come to join this group." he suggests.

DavianGrallus |
I will need three Survival rolls to determine how well your camp is set up! I will also need an actual listing of what people are using to tent in / camp / eat etc.

Rokkad |

Rokkad helps Ikoma clear a space for the camp, needing only his simple blanket to cover up against the cold. Although he is well used to roughing it, he knows that others who have only lived in town have more need of comforts, so he sets up a couple of primitive lean-tos with the branches of nearby trees.
Once they have built a small fire in a low pit to reduce the light visible from the surrounding area, he sits down and takes a drink from his waterskin, offering it to anyone who did not think to bring their own. He looks around at his fellows and nods. "We did well today." he states, tearing into the last of the salted meat he brought with him.
Survival (aid another): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Survival (aid another): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
Survival (aid another): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

Shalewen |

Those goblins that Kokip does not finish, Shalewen does. And not just the living ones either. She wouldn't put it past a goblin to pretend to play dead then attack later. When the job is done, she silently agrees with Rokkad, and follows to a safer location to set up camp. She then tends to her and Shadows wounds. The wolf's arrow hadn't gone too deep because of his fur so it required little care. Her's however took some mental preparation before removing. But an application of some common herbs and the pain was slowly melting away. "Next time. Skip goblins."
Starting wealth isn't enough to get a lot so all I have is a bedroll. And Shadow doesn't have the guard trick yet so he can't watch alone. DM how do you do rest to gain spell? do you have to actually sleep or is like 6 hours sleep and 2 on watch restful enough?
Survival: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19
Survival: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17
Survival: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19

Shadow the Wolf |

Unlike Kokip, Shadow does not partake of the goblin dinner. He'd only do so after a few days starvation. They were tasted like they looked, nasty. He just stays on the alert, sniffing around.

Arieys Mavashti |

Arieys aids in getting the camp set up.
Using Wisdom as I don't have ranks in Survival.
Wisdom: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18
Wisdom: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Wisdom: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9
She takes a small bit of jerky from her pack and tosses it to Shadow. He deserved a treat for his hard work in the fight, and begins shuffling though her cards again.

DavianGrallus |
Shalewen- you will need 8 hours of sleep as stated, with the exception of certain spells such as Keep Watch.
With Rokkad and Arieys' assistance, Ikoma and Shalewen easily find a spot a good distance upwind from the goblin corpses and display of action. Their given skills in dealing and manipulating nature results in a well lit campfire, as well as makeshift overhangs to substitute for the lack of tents for the group, saving them from the more basic irritations of weather.
As they do so, the fire crackles and spits warm embers under the food they brought and decide to cook over it, if any at all. Basic night ambiance begins to sound as true darkness falls just outside the orange light of the fire. Crickets chirp, and far far off in the distance a wolf pack's howling can be heard.
Shalewen, having been the lead tracker of the halfling, would notice that there seemed to be very little of any sort of trail left. The only indication that they were going in the right direction was the map itself, and a mark for where the halfling might be.
She could easily assume that come morning time, as far as finding Walthus was concerned, they were now on their own.
Feel free to make Perception checks, and please, give me a sign as to when you are done with basic RP / ready to move forward again!

Shalewen |

Shalewen looks mildly annoyed by the nickname but says nothing about it. "Tracks are gone," she says instead. She is currently looking over the map and trying to figure out the most likely spot this halfling they were looking for could live. But it was futile. She'd never been there so they'd have to actually go and see what they could find. She sighs heavily and rolls the map, putting it away. She flops onto her sleeping bag, which Shadow sees as an invitation. He rolls over next to her, tail smacking her in the face. "Pthbbbt" She spits a few strands of hair out and is forced to sit up. "Stupid dog," she says without any real malice. She strokes his fur and they both look at Mitsuko hoping for a song.

Rokkad |

Kokip finishes his meal and slithers over to his 'master', coiling up to look at him expectantly. Rokkad gazes at the giant serpent and several expressions flit across his face for a few moments; Pride, gladness, uncertainty, worry and acceptance among them.
Finally he nods. "Yes, I will call you when you are needed. Thank you." With that, Kokip lowers himself to the ground and seems to dissolve into it, leaving no trace that he was ever there.
"While we succeeded in eliminating this small band of goblins, we should try to coordinate our attacks better in the future." he suggests.

DavianGrallus |
How silly of me. I was rolling for weather, but didn't skew it for the season! Well, I'll have to alter that a little bit. Don't worry, if it's winter time, no saves / punishment will happen for this forest section :P
Show me the MONTH!!!: 1d12 ⇒ 8 1 = Abadius
Show me the DAY!!!: 1d28 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21 Max 31, min 28
Date: 21st of Arodus, Year to be determined, around 9pm or so

Arieys Mavashti |

I vote 4711. I'm in a Rise of the Runelords game taking place in 4710, and you said this takes place a year after the events of that AP.
She sees among the stars a band of animals, following in the wake of the Cosmic Caravan.
"The Pack dominates the sky tonight. More ambiguous omens. Are they loyal hounds or scavenging wolves?"
She frowns a bit.
"We could use something to lift our spirits, I think. Mitsuko, perhaps a song?"

'Tree' |

Tregdorult settle down into his bedroll and blanket, he sits for some time, silently starting into the fire and listening to the others around him.
I agree Rokkad. To start with, we should get rid of any obfuscations we've been holding onto, he looks pointedly at Mitsuko. First we ought to know what kind of skills each of us can bring to a battle. I am mostly just a striking force, but I am also excellent, when there is a stronger foe, at occupying said foe in grappling maneuvers.

DavianGrallus |
Excellent. So far as Watch I have Rokkad starting it, and then you all will slowly wake one another up as time goes on? In the meantime to begin anew, ensure you all have a clean bill of health, but not spells or uses per day replenished, and all of you roll me a 1d2.

Rokkad |

Rokkad's keen eyes pierce the darkness. He stays low and near the tree, knowing that the goblins have dark-adapted vision as well.
1d2 ⇒ 2
Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12

DavianGrallus |
As Rokkad begins the first shift of the night, and all others begin to fall asleep, he hears a calling out in the distance. A scraping of trees and crunching of twigs and leaves can be heard echoing and falling silent; echoing and falling silent.
A sharp, direct growl comes from somewhere, and then a quick snap of a whining animal can be heard. Something heavy is dragged through the dirt and leaves....

Rokkad |

"I'm not sure. Hopefully just some animals drawn to the goblins' bodies." he whispers back. Readying his spear, he crouches down and moves a few steps in the direction of the sounds to peer into the night. He listens intently, intending to wake the others if the creature moves any closer.
Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 20

DavianGrallus |
For now I would say only Rokkad is up- we will need to get an official watch list after Rokkad has decided what he is going to do. Arieys, I am sorry, but you'll need to be retconned as asleep until the watch is determined and Rokkad has acted :P If he would wake people up, that is a different story.
As for actually rolling perception, you all can- but there are penalties for everyone aside from Rokkad because they would be sleeping.

DavianGrallus |
As you peer through the forests, slightly leaving the camp with a wind rippling bedrolls in the behind you, you see aassive and hulking figure. Its much farther away now, and on an incline chomping after something....
The hulking figure turns two red eyes on you with a sniff, and an eerie howling follows its sight. The figure bounds away after the howl, and speedily out of your sight deeper into the forest.
