I am willing to wait a bit before we add another. I have seen Wrath drop games before dealing with personal issues and come back later. Figure we can afford to give him time to get things settled. If we don't hear from him in awhile then I am fine for looking for another player.
Look forward to seeing the post in the morning. Looks like I will have tomarrow off unless there is an emergency.

OK, I'll re-open recruitment so that we have someone ready to go. but I am also perfectly comfortable moving on with what we have now for a while.
Wow. Johnnie is in for a real surprise in the next scene then.
Nope, haven't read Exterminatus, although for the record I did really enjoy Eisenhorn. Thinking about Ravenor next to keep myself immersed in the Inquisition.

wow! additional XP! what should I get?! choices... choices... let you know later... gotta consult the Radical's Handbook for advise....
Yep, all of the original players have spent 700 so far. I noticed your sheet only showed 500 spent with 200 pending with the most recent award.

If it is anything even approaching any of their other DH books, they already have my money. The quality that they are putting out is top notch. I am thoroughly enjoying my copy of the Radical's Handbook.
It will be a great resource for this campaign, who knows, maybe we'll even have reason to use Ascension some day.
;)

Hi Rook,
If you can email me some background info of the Doc, and other NPC's. That way it will give me an idea of how I should react to them. I would appreciate it.
No problem Sav. For Doc Kirsch, think of him as your typical archetype of the esteemed medicae brought low by an addiction. Kirsch found salvation and more than a little curmudgeony frustration in administering to the indigens of the underhive (his new neighbors, he fell far) after he hit rock bottom and overcame his personal demons.
When you came to know him, he already was well into the "I can't believe I messed my life up to this degree that I am stuck taking care of these dregs and scavs" phase. Down deep you know he wouldn't have it any other way, as he genuinely is altruistic. He used to offer free care to Maia and her family, as well as any ganger who came his way who he deemed to have a redeemable quality or two. That would include you. You haven't seen him three years or more. He looks older, grouchier, and isn't one to tolerate deception.

Guys, just a reminder on using fate points:
*Using one allows you to re-roll any one failed test.
*Using one can count as having rolled a 10 on initiative.
*Using one can add an extra degree of success to a test.
*Using one can allow you to instantly recover 1d5 wounds.
*Using one can instantly allow you to recover from being stunned.
For the purposes of our game, 'fate points are restored at the start of a gaming session' translates to, 'fate points are restored every hundred posts, or earlier, based on GM advancement of narrative time intervals'
Don't forget you have this resource. Fate points when 'burned', i.e. permanently used up, can save you from certain death, as well.

I know things look grim.
Keep in mind, you don't have to make a last stand. There are always other options. The open door on ground level of the sniper's building, the rickshaw across the courtyard, or even some improvised cover.
If things get particularly bad, someone can always burn fate, you never know what might happen.

Fantasy Flight has The Harrlock Legacy Two out for purchase. Figured you guys would be interested. After that should be Ascension. Not sure what they have planned in the works after that.
Been enjoying the game alot. Hopefully the group will be reunited soon. Look forward to finally meeting Iacton.
Since its been over a month since we last heard from Wrath. Do we want to consider looking for a 5th member to the party?
See you guys in game.

I'm glad you are enjoying the game Bal.
I have to say, I didn't necessarily intend for you guys to be separated for this long, but certain events conspired to dictate otherwise. The reunion should be...interesting...
I am OK with opening up for recruiting again if everyone else is. Ideally, someone would be interested in taking one of our three NPC'ed former player characters, but I am alright with even a new character.
I used my Paizo holiday discount toward picking up Harrlock Legacy II, and Purge the Unclean, after that I will be caught up on my DH collection. Haven't been disappointed with one of their books yet.

Hey, it's the meeting of a guy who's rapidly beginning to hate/distrust Krade, a guy who's completely loyal to Krade, and a guy who's angry about his girl getting horribly mangled. What could go wrong?

Just remember, although Ishmael is under new management, I don't think much has changed in his basic personality. Regardless of the other issues, Val birthed an interesting character when he instilled him with such an arrogant, biased, firebrand fervor.
I just have the benefit now of knowing his particular brand of disruption won't surprise me anymore, just you guys (cue devious laughter).
I will be posting later tonight, EDT. We should be able to resolve the combat this evening and move on toward the 'happy' reunion provided no one gets killed.
Remember too, use the OOC as an open forum to discuss the game, as I frequently check this forum. I am always open to suggestions and ideas. Feel free to post any thoughts you have about the characters, themes, or events going on, even if they don't pertain to the particular scene that is going on at that time. Although I have the core storyline and events outlined for the course of this campaign, player reflections on the action in-game oftentimes gives me new ideas on where to take things. That's why roleplay is great, it lets the storytelling become an interactive experience for everyone involved.

Believe me I know Ishmael is nuts. Thats why I am happy he threw the grenade at the other guys. Lol. I have the feeling the ghost of Val will haunt us with his unique zeal for quite some time.
Only thing I see that could be needed in the near future is a list of contacts for me, and snitches/informants for Johnnie.
The reunion should be interesting. Hopefully the Tech Priest won't shoot me fearing I am going to strip him for parts.
See you guys in game.

No worries on the waiting Rook. Figured it would take time to get all the blood out of my clothes. Last thing I wanted to do is show up in the bar covered in a womans blood with the Eviscerator on the loose.
As far as Methuselah. If it makes you feel any better. I still own the White Dwarf that introduced Witch Elves as a Regiment of Renown.
