Hello I am currently recruiting for two scenarios for PFS credit both are at tiers 3-5.

Shattered Star: The Crow

I suppose it would depend on the times for the scenarios but I'll apply with my level 4 Cleric.

I've never done a pbp, but after reading DH's Guide I'm intrigued. How long does a typical game take?

well seeing as this is about 3xp per adventure this should take about 12 weeks. My goal is 8 weeks. That's if everyone posts regularly. I have access on my phone so I can reply quickly but I can move stuff along once a day at the minimum.

Well I'll have access as well with phone. So I take it there is a set rotation time for moves? I apologize, would you mind giving a slight lay out of how you personally run pbp's as far as structure?

You act as you will, when combat breaks out. I will divide time into the rounds with people and then monsters. I intend to use a map on google docs. You may move your character around. Once everyone has gone I will post a recap and move to the next round.

I have a level 3 roque. Would be up for either. I have DMed Thistletop though, as part of the Adventure Path, not PFS.

What do we do the session through? This thread or is there another venue? And how do we look at map?

after recruitment is finished there will be a discussion thread for ooc and a gameplay thread. There will be a map provided via a link to goggle docs.

Alright, so we don't utilize any of the VTT programs or skype for clarification? And how long until recruitment is finished?

I'm assuming we could go with a pregen if we wanted to as well right?

I'm interested in playing in RotRL: Thistletop. Sadly, my Shoanti character perfect for this is only level 2. Can I go with a level 4 pregen, roleplayed with my own PC's backstory (obviously, with no mechanical effect)? If so, I'll post backstory in my official "application" for the game.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that I've played PBeM and PbP, GM'd both, and love this format. Lots of cool roleplay possible.

pregens are fine as long as you supply me with the PFS number you want the credit to be applied to by the end.

Kha'Zix applications are no longer accepted once there are enough to fill 12 slots. 6 for each game.

Count me in for both then DaWay. I'll have the credit go to my GM baby. (it hasn't ever been played yet, so I'm just kind of stockpiling exp on it)

Kelvor for RotRL: Thistletop

"Kel-grish! Come and drink with me, stranger and tell me of happenings outside Sandpoint," says the young man standing at the bar in the White Deers' common room.

He is a worn figure, scarred and burnt across his arms, legs and neck. Beneath his odd Shoanti cloak of eagle feathers, you can see further burns. He appears to have had a long and dangerous life up until now, but his eyes, full of curiosity and humor, sparkle youth at you whenever you look into them. Despite the burns and scars, the most striking thing about the man (boy?) is the great black tattoo imprinted upon his face. It is sharply angled, but filled with swirling circles and a single closed eye emblem. To read it's symbols within symbols fully requires that you look intently for several moments.

"Look as you will, tshamek. We Shoanti do ourselves no favors by our love of the Skin Art. I swear I get at least seven looks each day in the streets of Sandpoint. Children, men, even your women stare. That is OK. It is necessary and I take no offense."

At the word "offense," he takes his hands from his belt, as if to emphasize his peaceful intent. At his belt are a longsword and shortsword, the derhk-skil and kris of the Shoanti. No doubt they gleam sharply in their scabbards, ready to strike, should he draw them.

"My name is Kelvor of the Spireclan Shoanti. And this," he says, pointing at the intricate tattoo upon his face, "is navrik, the symbol for Eyeless Sight. In your Taldan tongue (yes, I have been to Taldor!) you would say "Mystic Vision" and it is my life's work."

He motions to Garridan Viskalai, the owner of the White Deer, for more ale and turns back to you.

"So, what news from the Hinterlands?"

Kelvor is perfectly positioned as a Sandpoint/RotRL PC. He's on a mission to find out about his tribes vision of an impending disaster. He's fully aware of the damage fire can do to a person and so will be deeply effected by the goblin love of fire and what it can do to innocent townsfolk.

He's also set up for some good roleplay encounters with Garridan Viskalai (a Shoanti apostate) and the town sheriff. But at the same time, his mission is philosophically one of working together with non-Shoanti, so intra-team collaboration remains possible, despite his native arrogance and pride.

And as requested - I plan on applying the 3 XP from Thistletop to PFS# 1676-3.

Right now I am thinking Amazing Red and Kha'Zix are going to The Crow while Omrax and Gazmold are going to Thistletop if there are no objections.

This is Amazing Red's Paladin and I am okay with this decision.

There are no archetypes with pregens. You will be playing the standard Wizard. I believe his name is Ezren

yeah I've looked em all over before, it'll still cover a decent gap.

Also as an aside, if anyone wants to play a lvl 7 pregen, I've got a 7-11 scenario that's got a spot or two, I want frequent posters though so don't app without that in mind the scenario is #4-12 Refuge of time when you finish once your PFS character is high enough you're allowed to then apply the sheet to it.

(I hope you don't mind me cross advertising, but it won't take away players so figured I'd do it, since we just need one more to get going)

yeah I would apply but I am currently DMing 2 APs and 3 scenarios plus these 2 portions of an AP and am a charcter in 7 scenarios and 1 homebrew. I am a bit busy at the moment.
