As soon as the first lizard creature has survived its entry, others follow it and some seconds later a moderate force has entered the room. They are led by an albino troglodyte that moves with the grace of a panther and looks like he knows how to wield his two-handed spear.

"Huh?" Bree's question breaks Sebastian's fascination.
He struggles to find the correct description without slipping into a lecture. "Oh, Its an Orrey...a mechanical....model. It shows where the planets are at this precise moment and moves through the seasons and years to keep the precise relationships accurate. I have seen small tabletop orreies, but never one so grand as this. Remarkable and a shame knowing its fate."
As he starts to go around the edge of the room. "It will have many gears and moving parts so stay aware as you cross for it might be easy to use it for nefarious purposes." His eyes scan the orbital objects looking for any that might be moving particularly fast.

While Razorhorn and the elves cautiously begin to scout the rooftop, it's Bree who makes out a dark shadow behind one of the planets - it looks like at least one drow is hiding here and uses the golden globes (^^) for cover.
Sebastian can't make out any object moving in a strange way, but that does not relieve him, since through the glass cupola he has no problems making out the actual meteor which has now begun to block out the sun...

Kabal's wild swing is deflected by the troglodyte's thick scales and the beast growls angrily as the power of the blow still pushes it back!
Mercus quickly scurries over to the giant Brevian's side and readies an attack should any of the monsters advance.
Some metres away Cat hits a trog who had underestimated her reach.
The drow is too quick for Bree to hit him, but the sound of her attack alarms all her companions and Razorhorn engulfs the planet sphere behind which the drow hid in a green vapor of death. The air smells of ozone and molten metal and as soon as the green cloud has dispersed, the burnt remains of the drow become visible again. Molten gold has covered parts of his body and he looks a bit like a work of art...
The destruction of a part of the orrery however also seems to have an additional effect, suddenly other planets turn faster and the whole construction emits metallic screeches of pain.

Mercus steps next to Kabal and attacks one of the troglodytes. The hit is well aimed and draws a bloody line on the trog's shoulder.
While your display of nimbleness is clearly impressive, not all your companions are so dexterous. At least three elves get smashed by the gigantic balls of death and even razorhorn receives a heavy hit into his side...in a fit of rage the dragon then grabs the planet and hurls it at the drow spotted by Bree and buries the dark elf underneath it...
Suddenly you hear Silsavar shouting
