Lissa Tesarani |

With a low growl,a small lava flow springs from the swiftly disappearing sign on the floor and coalesces into a roughly humanoid form. It slams its molten fists into the "leader" of the corbies as Lissa hurls a glob of acid at the nearest opponent.
Magma Elemental - Slam vs. main guy: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15
On the unlikely off-chance that hit: 1d3 + 1d4 ⇒ (3) + (3) = 6 + DC 9 Ref or burn.
Lissa - Acid Splash Ranged Tough: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19
On the more likely chance that hit: 1d3 ⇒ 1
Also, I don't know how I've overlooked this for so long, but a Summoner's Summon Monster class ability allows a Summoner to cast Summon Monster as a spell-like ability as a standard action.

DM Wellard |

Pay attention Ulf I saiid you had put the 2nd charge victim down..as for the attack this round
Ulfs axe loops in a figure eight and two birdmen squak one as he falls into unconciousness the other is heavily wounded.
Runa closes with the paralysed Birdman CdG is a full round action won't occur till next round
Not so fast Lissa...
The Boss seeing his cohorts fall simply vanishes
Lissa can redirect her actions towards other targets the rolls above will stand...and yes I forgot that summoner class feature as well

Zaladrel Orain |

Sort of an obscure question but does my judgement end? Does Desna know if he is invisible or gone? (I mean I assume she knows if she cares but I'm not sure what happens to my power in this case...)

DM Wellard |

That's an interesting question..your judgement holds..but the Boss did vanish with a slight pop of inrushing air suggesting that he teleported. I'd rule the judgement is probably still on him(makes things more interesting)...I'll move things along a bit
The elemental slams into the unhurt Birdman and the smell of Scorching feathers fills the air at the same time Lissa merely grazes the wounded one which utters another cry and now seems to be on the verge of keeling over.
With no way to escape the Corbies try to sell their lives as dearly as possible but their frantic claw swipes fail to pierce Ulf and Omara's defences.
Corbie 1 [ULf]
Claw 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16
Claw 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14
Corbie 2[Ulf]
Claw 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16
Claw 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
Corbie 3[Omara]
Claw 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
Claw 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12

Úlfheðinn Sigmundarson |

Úlf gives a bark of laughter as the corbies strikes either miss him entirely or bounce off of his breastplate, turning his axe in his hand again and preparing to bring it back across the injured bird-people's torsos, hoping to repeat the double-hit that he achieved moments ago. "What is matter?! Are losing touch?" he calls, clearly taunting his enemies.
Attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19
Damage: 1d12 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
Meh on the damage...but at least it was a hit so I get to cleave again! Woo!
Cleave Attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10
Cleave Damage: 1d12 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
Aaaaah, poo...wait. Was that three nat-1s in a row? Wow. The RNG really hates me today.

DM Wellard |

Ulf puts the badly wounded corbie out of its misery but fails to hit the scorched one
Runa damage
2d4 ⇒ (3, 3) = 6
Fort save DC 16 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20
Somehow the Corbie survives the throat cutting attempt. However the corbie is still immobile and Runa will get a final chance to end it next round.
Will save to break out of the spell 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14

Zaladrel Orain |

I think noting that his Judgement is still in effect Zal will spend his next action trying to "figure out" what is going on.
Zal's eyes narrow as he sees the creature disappear. Knowing that Desna still protects him from harm he is certain the creature is near. Zal puzzles to himself at what the creature might be as he looks for any hint of where the red enemy made off to.
Perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (15) + 10 = 25
Kno ? to hash out what that boo thing *is*?: 1d20 + 8 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 8 + 4 = 26 All my Kno checks for this are 8+4 unless Arcana then I get an additional +1

Zaladrel Orain |

Do I have any sense of what creature it is vis a vid my Monster Lore ability or is this outer fringe type stuff?
Folks can keep acting, Zal is wandering around this round.

DM Wellard |

Zal
ROUND 3
Three corbies left one held one scorched and Omara's foe
Zaladrel 18
Ulf 16
Boss 15
Lissa 13
Omara 12
Dire Corbies 6
Runa 5

Úlfheðinn Sigmundarson |

Úlf grimaces in shame at how badly he missed the second corby and brings his weapon to bear once more on the creature, intending to recover the honor of his ancestors by splitting the bird-man in half.
Power Attack: 1d20 + 9 - 1 ⇒ (13) + 9 - 1 = 21
Damage: 1d12 + 8 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 8 + 3 = 20

Lissa Tesarani |

The magma elemental continues to pound against the corbie that it previously threw itself into after the bird-men's leader disappeared. Lissa then turns and throws her acid at the same enemy her summon is fighting.
Magma Elemental - Slam vs. same guy: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19
If that hit: 1d3 + 1d4 ⇒ (2) + (4) = 6 + DC 9 Ref or burn.
Lissa - Acid Splash Ranged Tough: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12
If that hit: 1d3 ⇒ 2

DM Wellard |

Ulf kills the scorched bird man with almost contemptuous ease Lissa's Elemental finds itself with no foe shifts to Omara's opponent and it goes down also. The Rogue stabs out at the held Corbie. scoring a hit..
Omara Damage1d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7 not a CDG
..then Runa puts it out of it's misery just as it begins to stir again.
Runa Damage2d4 ⇒ (4, 3) = 7

Zaladrel Orain |

Zal will hold, he doesn't really have much to offer at the moment
Perhaps leave one of them alive? Our foe continues to elude us, we might get answers from a prisoner?

Zaladrel Orain |

Zal offers a half frown but is not devoid of humor, Is hould have spoken sooner. I am uninjured.

Zaladrel Orain |

Zal looks to the witch, Do you have the resources? I can also heal a little but would need to sacrifice another of my spells to do it.

Runa |

Ok...looks like the post monster ate my last one..sorry
Runa looks over Ulf's wounds and spits out a jumble of works. Many of the cuts and scrapes heal almost instantly.
healing curse: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Arrggh..my rolls lately on this site have been sucking!!! Curse you dicebot...curse you to heck!!

Zaladrel Orain |

Oh I could and I will but I know tht Runa get one per person per day so I figure I would wait until she is tapped out. Mine still serve some vague group triage purpose in a pinch though I have rarely seen that happen.

Úlfheðinn Sigmundarson |

"It is good enough, my sister. You have my thanks." the Ulfen replies, huffing out a sigh as he looks around the room. With the corbies dispatched, he combs through the room as best he can, looking for anything of interest.
Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 8

DM Wellard |

You find nothing of real importance on the Corbies bodies.
From the Feast Hall a narrow passage runs west to a door with a second door on its north wall. Three more doors are spaced out between this passageway and the door by which you entered. A somewhat wider passage leads south with a door in the halls southern wall just before it starts.
The Passageway itself contains a double door on the east side.
In addition a stone staircase descends from the hall,a heavy tapestry across the exit below
A lot of choices

DM Wellard |

Ok starting at the top..
1)There are two side rooms off the donjon whereyou entered the upper floor..these are empty but seem to have been ready use armouries at one point. The eastern room has a second door which leads to a narrow corridor and then via a stairway into the room from which the wight appeared..this would give you a way up and down without using the haunted stairs.
2)The doors between the door you came in by and the western corridor..(there are 4 off these not three as I stated earlier). The first and third both open into a short curved corridor and there are two further doors in this corridor..the second leads to a washrooom/privy. The fourth opens into what must have once been a storeroom now filled with a tangled mass of debris from collapsed crates and broken barrels. The door was quite stiff and required Ulf to force it open.
I'll let you react to those before I continue.

DM Wellard |

As Runa enters the store room she hears a quiet sobbing..looking around she spots the crushed remains of an human child under the toppled crates. Then sobs themselves are somewhat unnerving..
Suddenly a figure erupts from the rubble, A skeletal Human Child with the head of a wolf which slashes at the young witch with a bony hand.
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21
Though it seems to do no damage it still has an effect on her.
Runa give me a Will save DC17

DM Wellard |

Runa feels a wave of tiredness sweep over her..
Fatigued: A fatigued character can neither run nor charge and takes a -2 penalty to Strength and Dexterity. Doing anything that would normally cause fatigue causes the fatigued character to become exhausted. After 8 hours of complete rest, fatigued characters are no longer fatigued.

Zaladrel Orain |

Zal will attempt to use his connection with Desna to fight against the undead's effect, pulling her out of the way so that the others can engage the creature. Focus on my voice my friend. Hear Desna calling you and bidding you be well.
Basically If I can pull Runa and use Liberty's Blessing on her I want to do that. If I can just use the Blessing and not move her out of the way I will do that.

DM Wellard |

The room itself is only 10 feet wide..it stretches off to the right of the door about 25 feet with a sklight westwards curve at the end.Runa currently blocks the door and as Ulf had to open said door he probably doesnt have the 10' run up he needs for a charge. He could delay let Zal pull Runa aweay and then 5'step into her place.
Yes there is room for summoning a creature behind your opponent.
Zal..you can pull her away as a move action then cast as a standard..

Lissa Tesarani |

Lissa pulls out a small candle and lights it. She quickly sets it on the ground and pours the earthen contents of a small bag on it while mumbling arcane phrases under her breath. A puddle of lava begins to rise behind the creature that swiftly rises into the same elemental she had summoned previously. As it rises up in tumbles back down to slam onto the thing.
Casting Summon Monster II to summon a Small Magma Elemental behind the monster.
Its turn begins immediately. Slam Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19
Assuming that hits, Damage: 1d3 ⇒ 2 plus DC9 Ref or Burn
