Alright. I'm peeking in. Most of my other campaigns have gotten shut down. Now that I'm down to two, I probably have plenty of time to get into one of your games, particularly since I had no luck getting picked up for a Skulls & Shackles game.
I've talked to Tel about it. Nothing is certain yet but I'm expressing an interest. The rest of you can pick whatever character you want and I'll fill in the hole, if there is one.

Shouldn't we try to figure out what game we're going to actually be playing? It's going to be a lot easier to decide on a character, at least for me, when I know what I'm creating it for. I'm certainly not going to be playing the same kind of character on a ship as I would in the jungle.
If MW's playing, then perhaps we ought to consider something other than SS. I change my vote for S&S now. I've got lots of good ideas for that kind of character anyway.
So what do you guys say? Should we look at joining the good ship lollipop?

Okay, we'll go with Pirates right now. If that doesn't end up working out so well, we'll shift to SS next.
Korum, I've been thinking about your fixed stats, and I think you should get a re-roll. If we don't count your EXTRA, you got the worst stats in both sets. And I admire you showing a willingness to keep it and make something out of it. So I say, re-roll and keep whichever set you prefer.
If you want, anyway.

Ok. I'll do it. But only because I think it'd be great if I got the same exact rolls but with a 10 or higher strength.

Since MW's here, I'm going to do something completely different than I'd first had in mind and play a wizard. I don't think a wizard and a sorcerer in the same party is going to work against us in S&S and he's almost literally the opposite of Korum's sorcerer in every way.

Yeah, I don't know what I'm doing quite yet. I've got a lot of other things going on right now and have been watching what everyone else is coming up with.
Digging the sorcerer and wizard combo so far. Nice mirror of characters and I'm really looking forward to seeing how the backgrounds turn out.

I like what everyone has come up with so far too. It turns out that I wasn't all that suited to Ninja with my rolls so I think I might be a knife master.
Yeah, I suppose you'd want three or four good stats at least for the Ninja. A rogue only needs to have a strong Dex and decent scores for Int and Con.
I've been trying to think of something unusual and interesting to do for a cleric but everything seems to default to they typical worshipper of Besmara. Oh well.

It looks like everyone has a strong start. I think I'm going to give it another couple of days before I set-up a separate OOC thread. That'll give MW more time to work on his character and me more time to read up on S&S. Don't forget to put together your character histories for me. Keep in mind that while there's no reason to combine any of them amongst you, it's probably a good idea if you can at least get along with each other. I know it's not going to be as happy happy as RotR but you'll still need to form a team.
