I like the sound of adding epicness to the game. I'm a big fan of story, and your ideas for expanding upon the already written story, even as broad topic ideas, sound really interesting. So take that as a "Yes" vote from me.
If you wish to add the Mythic rules, I'm for it. But if you decide not to, then it won't upset me. That's your call.

Aleidi might be a bit skeptical of the request at first, concerned there might be some ulterior motive than just playing and styling her hair. But after some thought she'd likely allow it, as long as it doesn't involve cutting her hair short. Because after she thought about it some, it could be fun. That and Shalira doesn't seem to have malicious intent about the hair styling (which was the same conclusion she came too from the comment about her eyes as well), which would make Aleidi open up a little more to her. Watch them work on coming up with new hair styles together eventually.
Aleidi does draw herself, though it's more just something she does for fun than because I put points in that craft skill. Hence the journal and a few other odd items in her gear list. I imagine she would have been seen drawing at least one night over the course of the week travel to the Trading Post.

It's OK! I got three hours sleep yesterday, and no more than four the days before, I and should have been asleep two hours ago but it doesn't look like I'm going to sleep at all today and I have an eight hour shift tonight and hey, why does my head feel fizzy?

Ok i've read the Mythic book and now I'm twitchy. I can convert this AP into mythic relatively easy sine y'all are just starting but that I will leave completely up to you. I would like to do it but that might add a level of complexity you as players don't want to deal with. Also some of you might not have the book and I sill not force anyone to spend money you may not have/be willing to part with.

Sorry for the silence the past couple of days. Ended up traveling for work, amongst other things that came up this weekend beyond all of my control.
And I travel again to no cell signal land again next week.
Real life will always have a tendency to pull little fast-ones on us when we least expect it.

There were a few things Shalira wanted to get from the market:
Some additional food for two horses for four days. (She has enough for two horsess for one day.)
A tent. Additional rope and grappling hooks, a hammer and hooks and generally climbing equipment.
Paper, ink, coal pens... both for map making and drawing sketches for Aleidi's hair styles. Not sure whether I can effort it, but a compass and a sextant might be helpful in determining position, the height of mountains, latitude...
Things for making up hair, bands, combs, clambs, a small steel mirror... things like that.
@Shalira: You can get everything for a total of 50 gold. The compass grants a +2 circumstance bonus on Survival checks made to avoid becoming lost. It also can be used to grant the same bonus on Knowledge (dungeoneering) checks made to navigate underground.
Alright... updating my character page with the new equipment - that may take a moment, though. Hmpf. The feed for horses is 10 lbs. per day. Meaning with two horses and feed for five days I got 100 lbs. of horse feed alone. Good that I have a second horse now. How long exactly did the trip take? If it took a week I would have run out of food, which means I'd have to let the horses pasture.

I noted the following equipment:
A second horse
A Mapmaker's Kit
A Grooming Kit from Ultimate Equipment (actually representing the hairstyling stuff)
A Mirror
A Climber's Kit
A Campsite Kit
I didn't not a compass because I already had one, ashes on my head. I didn't note the horse feed, because I very likely already used - I am not sure in how far domestic horses can live by just pasturing.
All the equipment is currently listed with Shalira herself, not with the horses, even though technically the horses carry it.
Because I'm not a fan of nitpicking at that level we'll just say you carried enough feed that you ran out the morning you spotted the trading post on the horrizon.
New house rule: Equipment
Rations, horse feed and such are things that no one would forget in the real world. Unless you embark on a lengthy journey without the support of wagon or caravan I will never ask if you have enough food.
Things such as hammer, tent and kits I will never ask you about but I do check character sheets on a regular basis. If you claim that you are using a kit or piece of equipment that is not on your sheet, we will have issues. CYA. That is an acronym, not slang.
UPDATE: Our cleric has withdrawn due to real life issues (after I gave him an opening to arrive *DM grumble*) and I don't feel like waiting so Zangriff has given me permission to use the character he had drawn up. Typhus Larenon is now a DM character.
