About:
It was a joyous day for the part of the Medvyed family when Aleidi was born at their home near the Gronzi Forest. While connected to the Medvyed family, her father is removed enough from the line of inheritance that he was only gifted with land near the forest and the family name. Since birth, Aleidi has always been different. The day she was born, her parents received a visit from a fey named Ithil. Ithil gave Aleidi a gift, with plans to continue observing in the future. Her parents refused to talk about the visit. They hid it from the rest of the community and from Aleidi herself. They feared what the superstitious nature of the people of their community. All was well, till Aleidi turned one. That day, she woke with two-toned eyes, the right a clear, crystal blue and the left a bright, forest green. This is when the town started to talk. The talk was mostly kept whispers, quiet and secret.
Aleidi soon started hearing a melodious voice beckoning her to come visit the forest. When she told her parents, they made her promise to never enter the forest, to not even acknowledge the voice. She was to tell no one. They feared what the people would think, what they might even do to her. The adults would whisper but they were always kind in Aleidi and her family's presence. It was the children that Aleidi had to worry about. Overhearing their parents talking about how unnatural Aleidi was behind closed doors, the children attack this child that was unlike them, that their parents viewed different as well. The worst was a group of close-knit boys. They sought her out to attack her verbally, calling her names, stealing things from her, and destroying what she was playing with at the time. This carried on, until it grew worse the day she turned four. That day, the boys threw rocks and chased her. Her only safe escape turned out to be the forest. To the forest she ran. By the time she escaped the boys, she was deep in the forest and lost. She curled up at the base of a tree and began to cry. Soon though, a lady approached her, healing her and offering to feed her. The lady said her name was Ithil. Aleidi, not realizing she was in the presence of a fey allowed Ithil to carry her off, and to feed her. Ithil fed Aleidi bread, berries and water. Ithil, knowing the potential that Aleidi held inside, asked if Aleidi would like Ithil to teach her how to protect herself. Aleidi readily agreed. Ithil began teaching Aleidi some illusions and other magic. Aleidi took to it as a water to a sponge. After what just seemed like a long day, Ithil told her that she must take her to her family. With a kiss to the forehead, and a promise to meet again, Aleidi was left by Ithil in a clearing near the outskirts of the forest where she was found by her father. She had not been missing just the course of the day, but for three weeks. Not long after, Aleidi scared the boys that had tormented her away. Soon, she was sneaking off to the forest often to meet with her new friend Ithil. Ithil trained Aleidi in how to use her magic, and the continued exposure to fey and their variation magic soon made more physical changes occur to Aleidi as she grew older. Her face and features became thin and more angular, her ears became more pointed than a normal humans and she grew to be a 5'10" with a lean build. Her brow hair grew down to her lower back with a bit of curl to it. There are also times, often in times of strong emotion, that Aleidi's eyes glow. Aleidi, while she seems quiet and reserved in the presence of others, she is actually quiet the trickster. She will become animated and talkative to those she holds close, around Ithil especially. Using Illusion and Enchantment magic, she plays tricks on others. She can be vindictive, when her or the close few are hurt, verbally or physically. These are the biggest targets of her tricks. She has grown up to walk to the beat of her own drummer, taking much influence from Ithil. While she will protect those closest, but she is not one to just stick her neck out for others without good reason. While of noble heritage, she does not tend to focus on the social aspects of noble life, instead letting her three younger brothers try to work their way up the social ladder without her to hamper them.

The ambient sounds of the forest were only interrupted by the occasional sob or whimper of a small child. Lost and alone, four year old Aleidi was huddled up amongst the roots of an ancient tree. She had been told all her young life to never ever enter the forest. Her parents had made her promise, always reinforcing that promise. She didn't understand what was so bad about the forest. Her parents would just remind her often, especially when she mentioned a melodic voice that beckoned her when she was close to the forest.'Never follow that voice, Ali. Never.' The sound of her mother's voice ran through her mind and made her cry all the more. She was sure that her mother would be mad at her for coming in here, but she had only ran in here to escape those boys. There had been nowhere else to go this time. They had been mean again, though this time was worse. Rubbing her eyes to wipe away tears, she whimpered in pain when she brushed a small bruised cut on her cheek. 'FREAK!!!' 'Two-Tone!!!' This time it had not been just words and names, this time they had throw rocks at her. The memories of their voices and the pain of the rocks hitting her entered her thoughts overwhelming any thoughts of her mother and home. Why did they hate her? What had she done to them? Mother said her eyes were pretty, green like the trees and blue clear water, that anything those boys said were just words. Words couldn't hurt her. Rocks hurt though, hurt a lot. Aleidi hid her face, curling up in a ball and started sobbing harder. She just wanted to go home; she wanted her Mommy.
"Why do you cry, child?" asked a melodic voice. Aledi jumped a bit startled before realizing that she recognized that voice. It was the one that always beckoned her to the forest. Looking up with tears still streaming down her face, Aleidi saw a tall thin woman standing there, watching her. Sniffling some, Aleidi wasn't sure what to say, this woman sounded familiar but she was a stranger. The lady smiled at her, "There is no need to be crying. They cannot hurt you here." The lady knelt before her and moved her hands, speaking in a language Aleidi didn't understand. The pain from the bruises and cuts went away, and a sense of calm came over Aleidi. "Better?" Aleidi answered with only a nod, her two colored eyes widened in a mix of awe and joy at the kindness of this stranger. "Are you hungry, child?" A quiet but audible, uh-huh escaped Aleidi's mouth as she nodded slightly. She was too shy and nervous to speak louder. Gently picking up Aleidi, the kind lady started moving off into the forest. "Then let us feed you. I am Ithil." Hiding her face, a she peeked out slightly at Ithil. "Aleidi," she whispered. The rest of the trek was quiet to all but the sounds of Ithil's footsteps and the general sounds of the forest. Soon Ithil had reached the intended destination, setting Aleidi down. She offered Aleidi some bread, berries and water that were being consumed hungrily. As Aleidi ate, Ithil seemed to be contemplating something. "Do they do this often?" Startled Aleidi froze before looking down and nodding some scared again. "Calm yourself, I am not one of them." Ithil smiled some. "Though perhaps i can teach you to defend yourself." The look of wide eyed awe returned to Aleidi's face. "Really?" "Yes, child. But first you must finish eating." After Aleidi finished eating, Ithil began teaching her. It was simple tricks, illusion magic. Aleidi seemed to take to it as a moth to a flame. All to soon in Aleidi's mind, Ithil stopped the lesson. "I must get you home. Your family searches for you." Ithil began to guide Aleidi out of the forest. As they got closer to the edge of the forest, Ithil stopped in a clearing. There were distant shouts of her father calling Aleidi's name. "I must go. He will find you here." "D-don't leave me," cried a scared Aleidi clinging to Ithil's leg. "I don't wanna be alone. S-stay t-till daddy comes?" Bending down Ithil embraced the little girl. "I cannot. This is not a permanent goodbye. This is just for now. You can find me here in the forest. Keep practicing. I will call you to meet again. Do not tell him of me." Ithil placed a kiss on Aleidi's forehead. The mark of the kiss glowed for a moment before Aleidi's eyes joined for it to fade soon after. Standing up, Ithil motioned and spoke in the strange language that was hers before a shout that sounded like Aleidi was heard. "Daddy!!" With one last smile as the sound of him running that way calling her name, Ithil seemed to vanish away. When her father arrived, Aleidi was all alone in the clearing. Her father rushed to Aleidi to check her over, relieved to have finally found her. "Aleidi! Where have you been? We thought we lost you. I'm so glad you are alright." "I'm okay daddy." Her father noticed something had changed about his little girl. He ignored it in his relief to have her home again. The others had called him crazy for continuing to search after the first week. It didn't matter though. Here she was safe and sound, three weeks after she had gone missing, his baby girl. Watching the reunion from a distance stood Ithil. She watched as Aleidi's father soon was guiding her out of the forest and home, before walked further away to vanish in the forest. "You sure have grown Aleidi, I'll be watching. Till we meet again." Not even a week had gone by since Aleidi's return, when the boys were at it again. They had followed and ganged up on her in a secluded area. This time though, Aleidi didn't run, she stood her ground. She used what Ithil had taught her and images started to appear in the air around her, her own appearance changing. Soon there were giant, monstrous purple squirrels. Their eyes glinted with malice as they chattered at the boys. They moved to start circling them, purple tails twitching. Aleidi stood there, eyes glowing. A grin was stretched across her face from ear to ear. She didn't have to say a word before the boys ran away in pure terror, believing that these giant squirrels would eat them. The moment they were long out sight, Aleidi released the illusion. Smiling and humming to herself, she started skipping towards the forest. She couldn't wait to tell Ithil what she had done. She was sure Ithil would be so proud. Brother's Names and Ages:

While she loves all three of her brothers, Mikell would play her games. He took it as a challenge and a good skill to have. Before Aleidi left, her and Mikell where thick as thieves.
