I tried to find some epic music for that post, but I found this and didn't want to search anymore.

Asuriel Arktaros |

Ok.
I have to admit that I had some level of high hopes for a somewhat cool theme song when I clicked on the link.
Oh well.
I'm a blonde yeah yeah yeah!

I know it isn't my round yet, but I'll try to get a flex-time post up tonight in response to Olivius/Pavanna. But first, I have to drive to the other side of surprisingly snowy Michigan.

Olivius_Telraven |

Have fun with that. I've just had a 1500psi power washer spray house failure while spraying my driveway clean. Joy. >:(

Noro Kas |

Hi all just a quick post..
I have been sick in bed all weekend. barely any energy. hard to breathe, chest congestion... I think I'm dying...
seriously though, I want to get better before I post

Asuriel Arktaros |

Feel better Noro!
I don't know if the site is always down when you want to post Saroune, but it feels like that for me quite often :)

Oops! Thanks for understanding what I meant to say.

@Saroune: Yup.
@Everyone else: If/When Horatio begins his countersong, everyone that is panicked can act normally.

Horatio A Aldebrandt |

You're assuming that I'll roll high enough to break it! Mind you, if I roll a 1, that's still a final result of 19...
Sorry guys, life's been hectic, and it's had me like a lizard drinking. I'm hoping to have a post up before my PFS table tonight.

Thirzin Bronzebeard |

Sorry, folks. It'll be tomorrow before I post. Today is a tough day. A year ago today I lost a very dear cat, to an awful disease. We watched her slowly decline for a month, and during the last two weeks of that period, it got bad. The last 3 days were utter torture, and with my PTSD, I still relive it from time to time. At six months and again now, it's been especially hard for me. Just wanted to give people a heads up and apologize.

Horatio A Aldebrandt |

Sending virtual hugs from Down Under, Thirzin. I remember you telling us about your furry friend, and I understand the pain of losing a loved pet. Look after yourself.

Pavanna Alazario |

Sorry for the delay, guys. I’ve finally got myself a new laptop, and while I love the new PC smell, making the transition itself is muddling all the things I’m trying to keep track of. I’m trying to track in on current events now.

DM-Salsa |

Woohoo! glad to hear you're back. I was just getting a little antsy is all.
Also setting up from scratch is no fun. :(

Pavanna Alazario |

Thank Gawd for my 1TB external hard-drive — I should be able to copy things straight across pretty easily. :D It’s just going to be so damned time-consuming to make the transfer.... x.x

I just received a message from one of my players and it reminded me that I should be saying this more often.
My job is to make sure that you have fun playing. If you guys are not having fun, then I've failed in my first and only responsibility as GM. This means, among other things, that I need to keep things within the limits of what everyone feels comfortable with. If, for any reason and at any time, you feel that I'm about to step over a line, please tell me. One of the things I worry about is doing or saying something that makes someone very uncomfortable, and that makes me nervous about doing some things.
So please, if you feel like I'm getting out of your comfort zone, please let me know. I'm more than willing to let you peek behind the screen to see what's going on in my head.
I know that there was some issues with the whole Nightmare sequence, and if I did redo it, I would just rip that part out. I'm not perfect, and, well. yeah...

You do a great job and I will continue to enjoy playing in your games for as long as you will GM them. If I wanted to play a storybook hero character who wins everything without trials and tribulations I'd play a video game instead. I have no qualms about anything you have done here and would applaud you creativity instead.
Thanks Adam!

DM-Salsa |

@Thirzin: Sorry I haven't said anything before now, but I hope everything worked out okay.
@Olives: Dun. Dun. DUUUUUUUUUUUUN! I've actually been looking forward to this since then. I was also wondering if you would keep it a secret until I did something to force your hand.

Could totally see that, cept the whole place would be a wreck.
By the way, I won't be posting Friday or Saturday. My younger cousin is graduating from college. :)

Noro Kas |

I sure hope everyone is well, I enjoy this game almost the most. (I do have preference for what I am GMing.
but I really want this to continue.
everyone...please come back (I promise to stop picking on or hitting on Horatio)

Horatio A Aldebrandt |

I'm sorry for my absence. A few things have come up that have made it difficult for me to maintain focus and get into character. My ex has continued harassing me, including sending a string of rather explicit messages, and it's escalated to the point where police involvement sounds like the way to go.
On a lighter note, I've also been getting ready for my first solo overseas trip, which brings its own set of stresses. I'm trying to get my head back in the game, but right now, I'm scattered and not feeling particularly safe, so I'd appreciate your patience.

I think we've been together long enough to know that we have our ebbs and our flows. I know we'll get it pulled back together. :)
As a side note: I love how many variations of Nualia we've managed to come up with. Just reading through the past dozen or so posts, I've seen Naulia, Natulia, and Nalulia.

DM-Salsa |

@Ronnie: Yikes. I hope that works out okay. Also, I hope you enjoy your trip. :)
@Saroune: I'm scared to check, how many of those were me?
@Everyone: Sorry, No post tonight. I'll try to have one up tomorrow.

I almost called her Nutella a few times, I could spread her on my bread. -- wait that didn't sound right.
Anyway, I to am sorry Ronnie. I wish there was something I can do. I have a cousin named Tony Soprano, maybe he can make an offer he can't refuse...

Pavanna Alazario |

Echo the good wishes, Ronnie. Have fun on your trip, but stay safe and well.
No excuses from me — I’ve fallen behind again, getting too lost in games and Forum Drama over stories*. I’m trying to put together another RP post that covers both situations, but it may have to wait until tomorrow at this rate. Hopefully I’ll beat Salsa to the wire. <.< >.>
* Has anyone here ever heard of, or even played, the game Kantai Collection? Because if you have, I have a heck of a fan-work to recommend to you....

DM-Salsa |

Which I forgot half of.
Oops.
So sorry about that Pavanna. Here's the rest.
The House of Telraven is an up and coming house in Thrune's Cheliax. Many of the scions of the house have taken up places of prestige and power within the ranks of the Asmodean church and the orders of the Hellknights. There are rumors, however, that the two youngest of the current Lord Telraven's children have been surprising disappointments.
There are rumors that Arturo, the current head of the house, struck a deal with a devil for six children of worth. Given that the first six are a diplomat, an officer in the Imperial Army, a priestess of Asmodeus, a skilled wizard, and a couple of hellknights, there seems to be some truth to the rumors.
It's paraphrased a bit. I'm trying not to give everything away.
