ok so, I don't know why but for some weird cosmic reason I started to watch This show.
and for some reason I saw so much of our little adventuring group in the characters.
So the question is, who matches up with which character? I'm curious to know if Thirzin has a counterpart!
Well I am only up to episode 4 and have not seen all the characters so far.
but the main protagonist (Akihisa Yoshii) in the series is definitely Horatio.
and Noro definitely, matches with Minami Shimada.

I think Thirzin is safe. Olivius might not be if he scrubs up a bit, though. But I think a punch is a bit harsh for what would essentially be a compliment. :P

Not a complaint as such... more just an observation and amusement that the three party members least suited to do the talking have decided to do so.

All my characters are probably being a bit OOC at the moment. 2016 hasn't had a good start, between being on my own most of the time, being constantly reminded of my dog's absence, and the bloody heat wave that's left me feeling constantly crook. Then I woke up this morning to another bit of bad news that's left me not really wanting to do anything, but feeling like I have to. I just felt like I had to get a post up, and since the social encounter seemed to have resolved already, that was all I could think of.
Regretfully I can’t help with the other stuff from here, but at the least, I can hope that post I just made gave H room to get into the action again, if only RP-wise.
Not really. There can't physically be any room left in that space the party's in, and really, there isn't much to add here. Any chance of getting V on our side seems to be gone, between the furniture-smashing, the manhandling, and the threats, and now with Pav getting 20-plus on a diplomacy check, there isn't anything for Spoony to add to the situation. The social encounter has swung from beatdowns to imploring and back to threats, so I honestly don't know what to do, as the tone seems to change with every post. I know what I would have done at the start, but since it went straight to RAGEMODE, I'm pretty much writing this one off.
As for the rest, well, 2015 was a shitty year, and it looks like that's all rolling over to this one. I keep trying to get out of the house, but all my friends are either busy, sick, or too far away. And on a less selfish note, I wasn't the only one hit by this morning's news. I know a few people who've been rocked by it. I won't name names, but if anyone else knows what I'm talking about, you're not alone in your shock.
This has been a wild time for me. I've been having a rough few days health wise. I'm also having trouble with the huge variety of cats at my house. Cats needing to be fixed are NOT fun.

First off, thanks Ronnie for turning this around. Methinks it's going to be hard enough without having most of the party out of commission.
Second. This is different from the book in that I added one more of the beasts you're fighting. They are supposed to be intelligent and I am trying to play the monster. I know that this was rough on some of you, and while I understand your frustrations, this was supposed to be a hard encounter.
Third, can everyone confirm their alignment? I think all of us are good, but I want to be sure. This is because of one of theses creatures' abilities is triggered when attacking a good-aligned creature.
Fourth, this is the level you will be after this fight. The next one is going to be a doozy, so I'm going to give you a chance to rest up and level up before hand.
Noro is Chaotic Good.
Also I see they cast Tim Curry in the re-make of Rocky Horror as the Narrator

Also I am not really frustrated... just was trying to figure out the best way to role-play it out. things happen and you fail a save, oh well..

Seriously, I'm just so happy that I got to countersong something. I probably won't get a chance to do so again, but man, that's great.
Ooooh, level 4? I get 2nd-level spells! :D Tongues is an absolute must for the party face, but for the other... Heroism? Gallant inspiration? Allegro? So many choices...
Oh, and Spoony is well and truly chaotic good.
I never get frustrated when it's hard or I do well, that's just more fun for me. If I wanted to roleplay picking daisies I doubt I would have accepted the offer to play here.

well definately her cookies. it all started with just Christmas cookies as gifts. then everyone liked them so we decided to try a business.
also, despite what my characters are like, we call them Recovery Cookies.
Wife is a recovering Alcoholic and these cookies are a way to keep her busy and not think about drinking.
I have been dry for about two years to keep her motivated to stay sober.
