Might as well throw my hat into the ring early. Ausk Green might as well make an appearance. It's a half orc name I use in all my IRL games so I should probably get a hold on this name while I still can. I don't have a history yet as it is late and I am up way later than I should be. He is a 1/2 orc witch with the Scarred Witch Doctor archetype. Mainly he's a healer/distraction using spells like lock gaze and intimidating everything when spellcasting is not the answer.

This is the link Ioun Wyrd
I am not sure if it is legal RAW, but if someone wanted one in my game I would have it be a dull grey.

wow lots of martial characters, I was thinking a Halfling cavalier of the paw, or a Halfling ranger horselord/trapper. Both are martial Halflings on a wolf. I was favoring the trapper to deal with, well you know, traps.
Might do a Halfling oracle of nature (mounted on a wolf) instead... either way he would have the Trunau Native trait, cause he would be from Trunau...
any opinions? Oh, Maybe I should ask, are two archetypes OK?
I do not have any issue with multiple archetypes that work together legally. In other words neither type replacing the same previous characteristics of a character. For example the Fighter archetypes Archer and Armor Master both replace armor Mastery with a different skill.

For a thousand years, Posh Stemtimple’s people had been simple farmers, until the orcs came, and came, and came, with no end in sight.
As a young gnome, his grandfather, Krolmnite Stemtimple watched his farm burned to the ground, and he took up arms, fighting beside the crusaders and villagers. He was there when the Hordeline fell. When the order was given to fall back further into Lastwall, Krolmnite wasn’t having any part of it. He turned tail and joined the defenders at Bloodmarch Hill and took “the Vow” with all of the others.
As Krolmnite grew older, and finally had children, it fell to his only son, Braughur Stemtimple to carry the family arms in battle, but Braughur’s strengths were not those of the warrior. He was an oracle, and cursed with both lameness, and blindness. Braughur used his talents as best he could, and supported the militia of Trunau whenever called, but he always knew he wasn’t the warrior his father had been. Braughur met a young gnomish lass named Queck Milkweed, and convinced her to become a Stemtimple.
Braughur and Queck have 7 children, with Posh being the oldest, and while Krolmnite’s armor and weapons were sold years ago to feed the rugrats, young Posh was raised to be a pious follower of Torag and defender of the Vow himself.
Posh has stood the line and gone on patrols with the militia several times. He has been in several battles where Patrol Captains Kurst and Rodrik Grath were in charge.
The Patrol Captains may not know who he is, but he certainly knows and respects them.
Posh is a stout gnome of above average stature (3’5”) who wears studded leather and carries a longspear. His bright blue hair is shoulder length and tends to be disheveled. He has gray eyes, and ivory skin, the sort one might have when they just haven’t spent enough time in the sun.
Most humans would describe Posh as less outgoing than your average gnome, whereas in a group of dwarves, he might seem to be the loquacious on in the bunch. Posh is somewhat of an introvert at first, but really, he enjoys meeting new people and learning new things. He is polite to a fault, and usually chooses to resolve issues peacefully when possible.
Posh will most likely travel the path of the Bard/Cavalier and take some levels in Battle Herald.
Some details of Poshand his advancement are pending GM interpretation of a rule or two. Like Versatile Performance satisfying prerequisites.

What kind of pacing should we expect? How many posts per day?
I have played in and DM'd many adventures and the best pace is trying to get everyone to post daily to everyday activities and multiple times per day during action scenes.
That is the pace I would like and will expect. If I have to push the group I will. I do understand life occurs as well but I would expect the members including myself to notify the group of any long outages.

Classes: All classes will be accepted, but there are a few I dislike such as the Gunslinger and Occult classes.
By occult classes do you mean "summoner" or something else?
Happy to hear about the possibilities of more than one table and posting daily or more. Another way to speed up combat is by posting in Blocks. IE: Initiative rolls higher than monsters, monsters, initiative rolls lower than monsters.

It is these playtest classes I do not like.

There's a lot of competition for melee already. I'll bow out.
Best of luck guys.
You sure, the DM said he might take on multiple groups.
Martial:
Orc Barbarian - Valax Soars-on-Land
Dwarven Barbarian - Drex Bloodmonger
1/2 Elf Ranger - Rydell Derrick Ellindorr
1/2 Elf Ranger - Arzam of the Wild
Human Barbarian - Vors Kiljayden
Slyph Fighter - Hunter William
Dwarven Ranger – Dundin Larringfass
only 3 barbarians and 2 fighter, but I'm a ranged fighter, I'm almost never melee unless I'm forced too, so really 4 melees, also don't quit just because the competition is high. Well sometimes rangers can be melee instead of ranged.

I can post at least daily and I am very much into role-playing, as opposed to roll-playing.
In a way I am too. Though I like role-playing, I would not expect my 7 cha, 0 ranks in diplomacy character to talk people into things, no matter who inspirational the speech was, and the DM has the right award hidden bonuses for roleplay, but unless I roll a natural 20, the DM has a right to say, well your character would have slurred his words badly or added in a rude comment.

It is not always the roll that wins an argument but the actions taken before or after the argumentative point.

So True... but generally pbp peeps are more role players than roll players. I think I read that tonight on another post.

Hunter William |

I am surprised there has been little to no roleplay in the Gameplay area.
I probably missed the post, but I didn't see it was up, otherwise I would have participated already, it late, so I'll post something tomorrow.
As far as what I meant about the roll/roleplaying a lot of 7 cha character with no ranks in diplomacy will try to make there characters says something or do something really inspiring. If you are playing a roleplaying game then you are doing it wrong, why the heck are you even trying if you created that character? If you are just playing a game in general that is not highly roleplayed or is rollplayed, then well okay, try it, but don't expect to succeed.

Balacertar |

I would like to present Leira for your consideration.
I am still working on her, but she is basically a Trunau inhabitant with a tempestuous past that binds her to what she most hates in this world. Orcs.
About her statistics, briefly said, she is a Human Sorcerer of Tattooed archetype and Orc bloodline, specialized in Conjuration and other support spells.

Was curious in the main recruitment thread you noted
Quote:Combat maps and chat will be on roll20.Wanted to get clarification on what you meant by chat would be on Roll20. Was thinking of submitting a character but just wanted to clear that up first.
The only real function of roll20 for our game is for distributing maps and combat actions. Sometimes I will be on roll20 making updates, modifications, etc. The chat function on roll20 is much better for BSing than the forum.

Not to waste anyone else's Time I have selected 6 individuals for this journey and PM'd each one. More information to be PM'd directly as the game gets set to start.
I do thank everyone for their time and efforts. There were a lot of good submissions and it made it very hard to select so few. I had thought about additional tables but do not have the time.
Good luck on the many other Giantslayer campaigns out there.
