I think Jocasta would be better in the front line, her AC is the highest

Lorena stops at the top of the stairs, barely able to bring her spear to bear against the giant bull-man.

attack (longspear vs mino): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14
damage if hit, cold iron: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6

Jocasta manages to just barely get into the mix near Khaz, bringing her sword out in front in a dueling posture.

Does this dude have reach? Am I eating an AoO before getting into melee range?

Female Demon-born Tiefling [ HP: 42/42 | AC: 17 (13 TAC, 16 FFAC) | CMB: +8, CMD: 19 | Fort: +5, Ref: +4, Will: +6 | Init: +1 | Perception +7, darkvision 60ft ] Oracle 6 / Hiero 1 [ Speed 30 ft | Spells: 1st 5/7 2nd 6/6 3rd 4/4 | Mythic Power 5/5 | +1 CI Longspear +9/1d8+7 P; Claws +8/1d4+4 B and S | Active conditions: ghoul fever ]

Large usually has reach of 10, I believe? So probably.

Warpriest (6) Guardian (1) Wounds (6) HP (94) AC (22/11/21) Saves (9/4/9, +2 vs death/energy drain/neg energy/necromancy) SR(13) Initiative (+2) CMD (23) Negative Energy (5) Mythic (4/5) Fervor (1/9) Blessings (5/6) Lvl 1 (1/5) Lvl 2 (0/4) Smite (1/1)

Already used AOO on me, so unless it has combat reflexes then you should be fine. Can also try Acrobatics if worried

You will have to chance the AoO, unlikely to have a second one and he does have reach yes.

Lorena is able to score a hit against the Large Minotaur.

Jocasta simply moves in as best she can, thrusting awkwardly with her blade in the tight space.

Dueling sword attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10

To no avail, of course.

Firinn or Terry moving in? Terry could try to acrobatics to a better place.

M Human (mutt) Unchained Rogue 6/Trickster 1 (AC21 T17 F15 CMD22; 22/53HP; F+4 R+13 W+4; Init+3; P+11+)

Yeah, I've been considering it.. Worried about failing, though, and suddenly forcing Jocasta to be squeezing. Seems an expensive failure option. I've avoided rolling the dice in a preview window to see if he will succeed or not, because that's just cheating.

What do you think, Jocasta? You're the one seriously penalized if I fail. I know you would REALLY appreciate the additional combatant if I succeed. So would I, honestly. Is the reward worth the risk to you?

Adventurers are in the business of risk!

M Human (mutt) Unchained Rogue 6/Trickster 1 (AC21 T17 F15 CMD22; 22/53HP; F+4 R+13 W+4; Init+3; P+11+)

cool. So, let's see what the dice say, and then I'll type up a description of the attempt. DC is 5+CMD of the thing being bypassed. What did we say it was, again? <goes looking> Oh. We didn't . Guess I'll have to guess about success when I post.

Acrobatics - Tumble Through DC 5+CMD(+2 for Minotaur threatening also): 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (16) + 11 = 27 Well, THAT's promising!

Don't do it! You're going to get yourself killed! Why would you do this? Terry's habitual self-deception of purely selfish motives worries at him as he moves forward and tries to slip behind the demon they had been fighting earlier.

I think getting there takes a double move. In case I'm wrong, I'll roll an attack, but I don't think it will actually count.

Rapier w/ Flank: 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 7 + 2 = 25
Cold Iron: 1d6 + 3 + 3d6 ⇒ (2) + 3 + (2, 3, 3) = 13

Jocasta manages to distract the Creatures enough for Terry to Tumble past With the +2 you just meets/beats

Terry places himself in a good spot to stab the once he has recovered his footing. You can keep that roll

The Minotaur looks down at Khaz Swinging it's Large Battle Axe at the small Dwarf swinging with both hands. Fiendish energy pulsing from the Axe.

Battle Axe: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 292d6 + 12 ⇒ (6, 5) + 12 = 23

A second swing from the Minotaur goes to Jocasta.

Battle Axe: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 172d6 + 6 ⇒ (6, 1) + 6 = 13

The Schir Demon stabs out at Khaz as well.

Halberd: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 171d10 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14

Confrim: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (12) + 9 = 214d6 + 24 ⇒ (2, 3, 3, 2) + 24 = 34

So by my calculation Khaz is at 0 HP Staggered, good thing I choose the Battle Axe not the Great Axe.

Warpriest (6) Guardian (1) Wounds (6) HP (94) AC (22/11/21) Saves (9/4/9, +2 vs death/energy drain/neg energy/necromancy) SR(13) Initiative (+2) CMD (23) Negative Energy (5) Mythic (4/5) Fervor (1/9) Blessings (5/6) Lvl 1 (1/5) Lvl 2 (0/4) Smite (1/1)

It didn’t confirm. AC23 from divine bond! Hence +3 up on profile. Sorry for confusion. And so glad that I took that divine bond option right now

Had 3 Wounds. Took 23.
LoH: 2d6 ⇒ (3, 3) = 6
17 Wounds taken

Khaz took a hit which might well have killed him. Rather than catch him on the neck, it instead hit his pauldron. Saved by the grace of Bolka, he returned the attack.

1d20 + 11 ⇒ (16) + 11 = 27
Cold Iron Damage: 1d8 + 13 ⇒ (6) + 13 = 19

”Like fighting a goblin! I see the demons left chaff behind for us.” He tainted as his mace struck home, intent on keeping the creature’s attention firmly fixed on himself.

Cold iron dueling sword attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26
Cold iron dueling sword damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

Jocasta sticks to thrusting with her blade, using the wall to try to keep the axe from getting a good swing at her, and manages to keep the fiendish minotaur on its toes (hooves?) with her repeated press of attacks.

Female Demon-born Tiefling [ HP: 42/42 | AC: 17 (13 TAC, 16 FFAC) | CMB: +8, CMD: 19 | Fort: +5, Ref: +4, Will: +6 | Init: +1 | Perception +7, darkvision 60ft ] Oracle 6 / Hiero 1 [ Speed 30 ft | Spells: 1st 5/7 2nd 6/6 3rd 4/4 | Mythic Power 5/5 | +1 CI Longspear +9/1d8+7 P; Claws +8/1d4+4 B and S | Active conditions: ghoul fever ]

With Jocasta moving in front of her, Lorena can't use her spear as well. Instead, she decides to try one of the new tricks that were unceremoniously pushed into her head last night. With an oddly dark flash, a cloud of black dust falls over the minotaur's head, seeming to suck up all of its fiendish glow.

She doesn't provoke AoOs for casting a spell, since Jocasta is providing cover from both enemies. Dust of Twilight, mino-buddy gets a DC16 fort save to avoid being fatigued (-2 str/dex)...

Firinn remains at the back of the group and takes the time to refresh his own spells - sadly being an archer up a staircase does no good at all...

Cast Gravity Bow (assuming I did Barkskin before we came in) and activate Tiger Aspect. I will at least be fully buffed when the demons step over my companions corpses and come for me!

Lorena save your spell

Khaz and JOcasta manage to bring the large Minotaur down, Terry stabs the demon in the back making it loose worse than it already did.

Jocasta can move into the square with the Minotaur if you want, you would be considered squeezing but you would open up some space. It did miss but that Demon would have swiped at Jocasta since I am not good at reading my own maps apparently

I'm fine with squeezing to give other people a chance to get involved.

M Human (mutt) Unchained Rogue 6/Trickster 1 (AC21 T17 F15 CMD22; 22/53HP; F+4 R+13 W+4; Init+3; P+11+)

Terry tries to stop the goat-headed thing while he can.

Rapier: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21 Not sure if I have flank or Jocasta moved. +2 if I still have flank.

Piercing Cold Iron: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
Sneak Attack, if flanking: 3d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 1) = 7

Looks pretty good without the flank!

Lorena do you want to attack the Demon now, it really is almost done

If Lorena chooses to not attack/Kills it

The Demon seeing it is out numbered the demon retreats around his fallen comrade swinging at the daring Rogue.

Halberd: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (13) + 10 = 231d10 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

Terry:

If he hits and Lorena doesn't Kill him a DC 15 Fort save or

Gray Pox: Halberd—injury; save Fort DC 15; onset 1 day; frequency 1/day; effect 1d6 Str damage; cure 2 consecutive saves.

Oh, right, sorry. My picture on the map goes under the minotaur for some reason, so I didn't move it. Assume she's under him somewhere.

With the minotaur falling before she can cast, Lorena moves around its body into striking position on the demon.

Khaz turns and marches slowly towards the remaining demon, swinging his mace at the Demons he just manages to land a hit dropping it into a pile of extraplanar good.

With the battle over, Khaz crushed the heads of the fallen foes to make sure they were dead. He then fell down on one knee and prayed, causing a wave of healing energy to wash over the group.

Channel: 5d6 ⇒ (3, 5, 3, 1, 3) = 15

Do you have selective channel? You may want to not channel right in that room...

Said that he smushed the heads of the fallen foes so nobody but else should be alive

Firinn hustles up the stairs with Rio as Khaz channels. After a brief look around he points to the door.

"This must be it. Nowhere else to go." He says, pulling out the wand.

"I have an arrow that should hurt any extra-planar guards, but we need someone to take this. Terry, you take and I'll shoot, or the other way around?"

M Human (mutt) Unchained Rogue 6/Trickster 1 (AC21 T17 F15 CMD22; 22/53HP; F+4 R+13 W+4; Init+3; P+11+)

"I want to check the door, first, in case. I'll take it once we're ready to try the door."

Having said that, Terry gets to work.

Disable Device w/ Tools & Trapfinding: 1d20 + 11 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 11 + 2 + 2 = 34 Wow! With that kind of roll, I'm going to assume the door IS trapped, but Terry missed it. Why? Because that's the negative attitude Terry's developed. Not quite how I envisioned him, but the dice have built it up for me.

Verify if the door is locked or not. If it is, and there's something available from this side to try to unlock . . ..

Disable Device w/ Tools & Trapfinding: 1d20 + 11 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 11 + 2 + 2 = 17

Lorena moves up and gets ready, charging herself with divine power while Terry tries to work the lock.

Divine Favor, +2 luck bonus to attack/damage rolls for 1 min

Khaz ends the Minotaur by crushing it's head with his club, Khaz lets of bursts of positive energy to heal himself and anyone else who was injured. The wound on Terry's arm grows worse, sapping his strength and starting to show some grey spots.

Despite his weakened state Terry manages to find no trap There isn't one and unlock the hopefully final door to the Grey Garrison.

How do you wish to proceed?

Firinn nocks his magical arrow and waits as Terry tries the door.

Ready Action for shooting!

Jocasta keeps her sword out and flattens against the wall as best she can to allow people room to move back and forth while she waits for Terry to open the door.

M Human (mutt) Unchained Rogue 6/Trickster 1 (AC21 T17 F15 CMD22; 22/53HP; F+4 R+13 W+4; Init+3; P+11+)

Terry takes the wand from Firinn, holding it between fingers of his sword-hand while he uses his off-hand to open the door. As he opens it, he steps back and grabs the wand in his off-hand, hoping he doesn't see anything ready to eat his face. Again.

Just waiting on Khaz's movement, don't want to do it for him.

Khaz strode to the door, fearless in his approach. They had just slain a fiend-touched Minotaur and a creature of the abyss. What more could the enemy have to throw at them? He was ready to proceed.

As Khaz strides fearlessly into the room a cloud of thick fog drops right in front of him. Readied Action Khaz didn't even get a look at the room but can see that it is nearly dark, not total darkness or bright light.

Khaz pushed forward, into the mist. He couldn’t see far, but the room wasn’t large. He stumbled out, soon enough, and to his surprise was face to face with a tiefling! He hurriedly swung at it.

Hit vs flat footed: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (5) + 11 = 16
Damage: 1d8 + 13 ⇒ (6) + 13 = 19

Given his surprise it was a clumsy swing. Luckily, having a fully armored Dwarven paladin suddenly appear seemed to be just as shocking to the enemy.

Jocasta makes a quick twist of her wrist and four small lights burst into existence ahead, illuminating the dim area (though she can do little about the magical fog).

Using dancing lights.

Are you moving as well?

I guess? From looking at the map it doesn't seem updated, or if it is, I can't tell where I should be going.

Wait. Combat with infernal servants is mundane business?

Terry moves in and Strikes the Heavily Armored Figure in front of him, with the Visor down on its helm Terry Has a tough time making out who is behind the armor.

I will have to post tonight as I don't have stats right now for some of the baddies.

No they are all armor. Also since I am not paying enough attention, Jocasta it is your turn I knew that Lorena went.
