Scenario #3-10: The Immortal Conundrum (Levels 5–9).
When the Pathfinder Society receives an invitation to a dinner party at the Thuvian Embassy, hosted by the guardian of this year's six doses of the infamous sun orchid elixir, the Decemvirate sends a team of Pathfinders to represent them and uncover the nature of the event. Can the PCs navigate the complex social landscape of Absalom's elite and gain access to the mysterious vault known as the Conundrum, or will they face public ridicule or worse in the face of the steepest competition in the Inner Sea?

Just to make sure I'm running the correct tier, the APL of this group is 6.5. In a 5-9 scenario that is the lower tier (5-6), right?

Hmm, according to the new(er) Guides, APL 7 with 5+ players has to play up to the higher tier. There is some debate whether .5 has to rounded up or down. I think Brock said somewhere you can choose which way to round. Typically, I see it rounded up.
Yeah, that .5 is throwing me off too. It hasn't mattered until now, and since we only have 1 level 8 character in the group, I'll let you guys decide.
My suggestion would be to stay in the lower tier.
I'll give this a few hours, and will stick with the low tier unless you guys demand the upper.
As someone who has been bitten repeatedly these last few weeks by playing up while on the cusp I vote lower tier.

FYI, all: I'm at the ER with my mother and I'm guessing they're going to admit her. If they do, I'm likely to be out of commission for at least a few days, maybe longer. I'll check in when I can, but if y'all need to go on without me I completely understand.
