"Marduk not happy. No fight." says the woman, looking very sad. Still, she draws a wand from her pocket and taps herself with it. Then, she looks at the others. "Need healing too?"

"Probably" Fauxish says verrrry slowly.

Sorry sent the Fort. save about 23 hours after I thought I had. Time's weird like that.

Back on his feet, Mikail hands his wand off to Marduk. "If you wouldn't mind, I could use a bit more to top off, and if anyone else needs some, you may use this!"

Within the excavated chamber is a handsome pile of treasure, including the Orb of Stars, a horn of fog in the shape of a curled linnorm, and piles of gold, silver, and copper coins dating back to the Age of Enthronement!

Another, much smaller collection of wealth is found in Rajhan-Vol's throne chamber.

In searching the corpses Sahba notices odd symbols scratched on a wall in the main chamber, and looking closer she finds a secret door to a stairway leading down deeper into the structure. After several dozen feet, the stairs end in a solid stone door carved to resemble an immense scowling face. The door is locked with an enchantment, and you recall a warning not to go too deeply into the Gloomspires.

Once we find the Orb of Stars, Mikail slaps his hand to his forehead. "I Almost forgot! We were supposed to take notes and make maps too!"
With this outburst, he promptly sits down in the middle of the room with whatever parchment he can find and a pencil and begins to take notes about the rooms and path so far.

Not blinking she looks to the left and then back to the group.

"We go on." Question? Command? Statement? --You can't tell.

"We found what we came for yes? Let us just take down our notes and maps to report back to the society." queries Faerin before ending off with a suggestion.

She considers but for a moment.
"Might as well see what else that treacherous creature have hidden in its abode,"

"I'm inclined to agree," says Nectanebo, although he is viewing the scowling door through the Eye of Ometeotl as he does so. At the back of his mind, he is still wondering about that entranced sentry they "met" above.

detect magic and Spellcraft: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (12) + 8 = 20

Nectanebo determines that the scowling door is warded by a very powerful arcane lock.

"Well," Nectanebo says as he puts his orb away, "unless there happens to be a key or a chime of opening around here, or one of you has far more magical power than you're letting on, I'd call it a moot point. I'm not sure I've ever seen a better-warded door, and that's likely for the best."

"What be da problem? Door not open? I can open door." she says, not understanding what's going on about magic.

"It means that this door was meant to keep either adventurers like out or to keep something dangerous in...." Faerin points out to her meat loving friend.

"We also have a pressing engagement to check on our spellbound friend and see if he or she understands that we are leaving and would prefer no further combat. Most pressing is that we have a ship to catch."

"Yes, let us away. Our work here is done, I think. "

Mikail looks up from his drawing and shrugs at the debate. "I would be up for either way, but I really don't think it would be a good idea to go against Nectanebo's advice."

To make a [i][good/i] map a craft skill check is required.

Nectanebo takes out his writing materials and takes the time to make a good annotated map. Occasionally he takes his pearl out and stares into it before continuing.

I take 20 on my Craft (Cartography) check and spend a Focus point from the Eye to gain +1, for a total result of 25 (if that can't be done with Craft, I take 10 instead for 15).

I am not sure you can take 20 on the check, but you can definitely take 10 and it turns out that knowledge engineering is an available option to use for this and Nectanebo's skill is more than enough to handle the task.

Mikail takes notes while Nectanebo creatures an architectural illustration of the Halls of the Flesh Eaters. While the magical trap is still a bit of a mystery, you know enough to mark out a safe route around it.

Gathering the treasures you you found you leave the Gloomspires with time to spare, safely reach the Grinning Pixie, and report to Calisro Benarry.

“Pathfinders, you have done a great service for me and the Society." Calisro says, looking over the item you recovered. "Securing the Orb of Stars paves the way for future expeditions. Soon, perhaps, we’ll learn more about the Gloomspires’ mysterious creators, unravel their arcane secrets, and perhaps even delve deeper into old Sevenfingers’s tomb to liberate his ill-gotten wealth. Considering what you’ve seen, you’re all now among the foremost authorities on the Gloomspires. I hope that I may call upon all of you again should the Society decide to fund another expedition.”

And that wraps up the scenario! The notes and maps were a good catch and gains you the secondary success condition. I'll report and send out chronicles in the next 24 hours. Thanks everyone!
