Oops, I forgot to look ahead or I would have mentioned that there was a locked door towards the Southeast. Southwest is a long tunnel that eventually splits into a left and right fork.

DM Puppet Master |

Sorry guys, I've been busy packing stuff. To hurry things up, I'll randomly choose some directions
The group travels down the Southwest tunnel, which eventually branches. The heroes move down the 1 left: 1d2 ⇒ 1 left branch. It soon opens up into a large chamber with a lofty, 12 foot tall ceiling. The cave floor drops away into a pair of long, 10 foot deep pits. Between them, a ridge of stone forms a dubious walkway to a landing on the opposite side, where a 5 foot wide shaft with a knotted rope hanging down into it awaits.
The ridge is wide enough that no check is needed to cross it.

Arden Svoen |

Arden considers goes to the shaft and looking down, but noticing his bruises and turtle bite marks, he instead says, "Hey Sir Florace, you should look and see what's down that shaft?"

DM Puppet Master |

Sorry for the delay guys. Hope everyone had a good Christmas!

Sharpe doesn't see anything, but as Sir Florace crosses, he gets hit by a number of rocks. Most bounce off his armor, but a few manage to find skin. 2 damage
Everybody can still act, but limit yourself to something you can do in 1 round.
Sir Florace gets a +5 to this check

Sir Florace |

Sir Florace looks about to see where the rocks came from. Perception: 1d20 + 1 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 1 + 5 = 21. There are slits on the right side, and they're throwing rocks through He holds up his shield and makes his way to the far side since he doesn't like the idea of the pits next to him.

Sharpe#762 |

Happy new year everyone!
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27
"Hey, there's 6 kobolds behind the wall throwing those rocks. I can try shooting at them but they have pretty good cover."
To Hit: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22
Damage: 1d12 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11

DM Puppet Master |

I already rolled for init; this is everybody's first round action as you beat the kobolds.
There's an alarmed squeak as Sharpe just barely misses shooting one of the kobolds through the head.
Tiger, Arden, and Aki all still have an action left.

DM Puppet Master |

Aki: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19
Arden: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12
Nighttail: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14
Tiger: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14
Sharpe: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
Damage: 1d3 - 1 ⇒ (1) - 1 = 0
Things work better when people actually move themselves on the map rather than relying on me to try to guess where you're moving based on a vague description. :-P
Aki and Nighttail both hurry to try to get in a position where they can attack, but their position at the back of the group limits how far they can get.
The kobold nearest Sir Florace pulls out a spear and attempts to stab him, but the blade glances harmlessly off of his armor. Meanwhile, the other kobolds continue to use their cover to sling stones at the group, but most shots go wide. However, Aki is hit a glancing blow. 1 damage
The rest of the party is up again.

DM Puppet Master |

Sir Florace cleanly cuts through the nearest kobold, who goes down with a gurgling cry.
Tiger, Arden, Sharpe, and Aki are all up.
Also, heads up, I'm flying out to Chicago tomorrow and will be gone until Monday, so I'll probably have spotty internet.

Tiger Sherman |

How kind of the kobolds to walk right in front of him. Tiger will hop down the ledge, and onto a kobold below.
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18
To hit: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13
Damage: 1d8 + 2 + 1d6 ⇒ (4) + 2 + (5) = 11 (The 1d6 only if it's far enough to deal falling damage on impact.)

Arden Svoen |

Can the kobolds reach across the trench? I had moved my character to the bottom of the ridge, before the fighting began. I was avoiding damage since my character needed severe healing.
Arden shoots at the nearest kobold that is not in melee. If there is any.
To Hit: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Fumble: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15

DM Puppet Master |

Ok, so there seems to be some confusion about the map. You're all currently more or less on a bridge. To either side is a 10ft pit. To your right is what appears to be a wall, however there are holes in the wall allowing the kobolds that are hiding behind to sling stones at you. Elevation-wise, they're the same level as you, but the holes aren't big enough for a person to climb through.
This means that if you wish to be in melee, you need to go around to where Sir Florace is. You can choose to shoot back at the kobolds, but they have improved cover. The kobold Sir Florace killed drew a spear to attack him, but all the others seem to be using slings currently.
This means Tiger's action is invalid, so he should re-do it.
Fumble, 1 = drop weapon: 1d2 ⇒ 2
Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13
Arden's shot veers off to one side, come closer to hitting a completely different kobold than the one he was aiming at. However, the shot merely bounces off of the wall.
Tiger, Sharpe, and Aki all have actions

Tiger Sherman |

In that case, Tiger moves around the wall and attacks the first kobold, using the same rolls. (It takes exactly 30' of movement from his start position).

DM Puppet Master |

Nighttail: 1d20 + 4 - 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 - 4 = 2
1d20 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
1d3 - 1 ⇒ (1) - 1 = 0
Tiger moves to take the last position near their enemies with a wild swing that goes over the kobold's head. Meanwhile, Aki and Nighttail move to the other side of the bridge and attempt to hit the kobolds with their ranged weapons. However, both shots go quite a bit wide as they try to avoid hitting their allies. Sharpe heads in their direction as well, stopping to reload his gun along the way, earning a bruise as he's hit by a single rock. 1 damage
As his allies continue to sling stones, the kobold nearest the party drops his sling and draws a spear, lunging at Sir Florace and Tiger. However, he seems confused as to which enemy to attack first and instead misses both as he thrusts between the two.
Party is up again.

Tiger Sherman |

Stab! Stab! Restab!
To hit: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24
Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
Tiger swings his morningstar again at the kobold in front of him, while his player bemoans piercing weapons' terrible crit ranges.

DM Puppet Master |

Tiger takes down the nearest kobold while Arden's target quickly dodges down behind cover to avoid the shot.
Aki, Sharpe, and Sir Florace are up.

DM Puppet Master |

Sharpe: 1d20 + 8 - 4 ⇒ (19) + 8 - 4 = 23
Nighttail: 1d20 + 4 - 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 - 4 = 15
Sharpe: 1d12 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
Nighttail: 1d3 - 1 ⇒ (2) - 1 = 1
Kobolds: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13
Kobolds: 1d20 + 3 - 4 ⇒ (18) + 3 - 4 = 17
Kobolds: 1d20 + 3 - 4 ⇒ (3) + 3 - 4 = 2
Damage: 1d3 - 1 ⇒ (2) - 1 = 1
Sir Florace just barely misses the kobold in front of him, who is so busy dodging that he likewise misses his return thrust of his spear. Meanwhile Sharpe moves, managing to blast one of the kobolds further back as Nighttail lands a glancing blow with her sling to another. Aki's aim, however is wild, instead killing a very fearsome chunk of rock somewhere to one kobold's left.
Now beginning to panic as the heroes approach ever closer, the kobolds turn their aim to the gigantic elf-human-monster-man looming before them. However, only one of the two manage to avoid hitting the brave Sir Florance's armor. 1 damage to Sir Florace.
Party is up again.

DM Puppet Master |

Damage: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Aki: 1d20 + 7 - 4 ⇒ (16) + 7 - 4 = 19
Nighttail: 1d20 ⇒ 7
To Hit: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11
To Hit: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
As Arden misses, Sir Florace strikes at the kobold in front of him. As he staggers around from the wound, a well placed arrow from Aki finishes him off while Nighttail misses.
Tiger has an action, and then everybody can act again as the 2 kobolds miss their attacks.

Tiger Sherman |

Did Sir Florace move? Guess I missed it, whoops, or maybe he got bot-attacking which is reasonable.
Tiger steps forward and swings his morningstar again.
To hit: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

DM Puppet Master |

I just had him bot-attack the guy in front of him.
Tiger takes down the second-to-last kobold. The last one misses his sling attack.
The entire party is up again.

DM Puppet Master |

And with a mighty swing, Sir Florace cleanly severs the final kobold's head from his body.
Where to next? As a reminder, there's a locked door I can have Aki try to open, an unexplored passageway, and a rope leading downwards in the room you're all currently in.

DM Puppet Master |

I don't think she was leading you anywhere in particular. Although if you'd like to try asking for directions, you can.

DM Puppet Master |

A short ways down the passage the cave opens up slightly. To your left is a simple wooden barricade, practically identical to the one keeping Hak Nighttail's dinosaur animal companion inside a small enclosure. The tunnel also continues a bit further to the north.
The wooden barricade isn't locked, but it would be a full-round action to open.
Looking through the gaps in the barricade you see a cramped cave with a 3-foot-high ceiling. It seems to be occupied by several rather large mounds of straw, most of which are piled right to the ceiling.
If you succeed on the above perception check, or if someone points it out, you can attempt the following check

DM Puppet Master |

When you enter the northern cave, you see single small palet heaped with furs sitting against the south wall. A soft hiss draws your attention to what appears to be a very elderly kobold who has gone blind. His tongue flicks out a few times to taste the air. He seems to try to gather himself before calling out to you in a soft, raspy voice.
"I can tell by your scent that you are strangers here. If my nose tells the truth, you bring the destruction I foretold. Good... good. I had hoped to see our ruin before journeying to the afterworld, but I will settle for listening to it. Beware the great scaly beast, strangers. He seems to speak reason, but his words are poison. And his bats, the ones he called from the darkness... they are harbingers of lunacy and chaos... Dread Lord Aeteperax will surely be your doom as he has been ours."
He begins laughing, but his voice is soon cut off by a bout of coughing that racks his small frame. Eventually the fit ends as his body goes completely limp. A quick check reveals that the short speech seems to have robbed the kobold of his last energy as he now lies dead.
