No longer surprised, the kobold manages to dodge Arden's swing. The second kobold tries to imitate his companion, deftly dodging Aki's first strike. However, he's so focused that he completely misses her second. He hisses as a gash opens on his side, but he continues to fight on.
Sesserak steps back slightly, trying to get revenge for her wounded comrade, but Aki dodges out of the way, the arrow burying itself deep into the rock by her chest.

Sir Florace and Tiger both miss the nimble kobolds. Luckily, Sharpe's careful aim manages to hit the wounded kobold, killing it.
The three remaining kobolds try to rally to strike back at these large brutes, but the seem shaken at their comrade's death and all miss. The remaining one next to Sir Florace is so shaken that he drops his spear. He hesitantly steps backwards, gulping audibly as he faces the well armored half-elf with nothing but his claws. He glances back at his leader, who yells at him. 「腑抜け!退却は 死だ!」

I'm not entirely sure what happened with moving people on the map, but I'm assuming what meant to happen was Arden attacked his kobold and then Aki moved into the spot where the kobold was.
Arden swings his sword, decapitating the kobold in one easy swing. Just as smoothly, Aki moes into the fallen creature's square to strike at the one still engaged with Tiger but misses.
Sesserak manages to fire past Aki and hit Sharpe, an arrow lodging in his leg. 3 damage
Sharpe retaliates by killing the kobold in front of Tiger.

Sharpe tries to shoot at the nimble kobold, but his gun jams, so instead his skilled eyes work to clear it. Tiger tries to drag the Sesserak away from the wall but is successful only in dodging her retaliatory strike. Arden and Sir Florace have a quick one-two going on, hitting her twice in total and winding up in each others' positions. For her part, the wounded kobold flails madly about, but seems unable to hit anything.
Round 5 and 6: Everybody is up.

Sir Florace, roll again to confirm fumble.
DM Puppet Master |
Result (1= drop, 2= attack): 1d2 ⇒ 1
Sir Florace's swing is so mighty, he drops his sword. Not sure if you still wanted to 5ft step away for Arden to attack?
Tiger, Arden, Aki, and Sharpe are all up.
DM Puppet Master |
With Tiger's hit, it starts to become very clear to Sesserak that this isn't a fight she's going to win. She quickly takes up a defensive pose and starts yelling. 「待って!待って!ええと。。。Wait! Wait! I want to parsnip! Err...parsley? Parley? Yes, that's it, parley! I want to parley!"
Arden, Aki, and Sharpe all still have actions if they wish to continue attacking.
Arden Svoen |
"Then parley! What do you have to say!" Arden commands Sesserak with a harsh voice. He glances at each of his comrades with orange eyes.
DM Puppet Master |
"There is tunnel back to kobold lair. I show you if you let me live. I cannot go back anyway."
Arden Svoen |
"Why would we want to find a kobold lair? Why would you lead us there?" What happened to just searching for survivors (and treasure) in the tower collapse?
DM Puppet Master |
Sesserak rolls her eyes at Arden's question. "I tell you where it is so you won't kill me. I wash feet of whooooole situation. Just want to get away alive now."
DM Puppet Master |
Just so you know, evil aligned creatures don't always detect as evil.
Sesserak speaks slowly, as if she thinks she's talking to a small, rather dull child. "I can't go back because I failed." She waves vaguely around at her surroundings. "Does this look like success to you?" She starts ticking things off on one clawed hand. "Tower collapse on man. Ghoul try to eat Sesserak when looking for loot." From the way she says it, it's clear that's her name. "And entire squad gets killed by stupid tall people poking around." She shakes her head. "Nope, nope. Can't go back. Would be punished."
If you have further questions, she will refuse to say anything until someone promises that she will be allowed to live and leave in peace.
Arden Svoen |
Arden in a more calm voice, "We will let you live. Do you know the cause of the tower collapse? Do you know who the man was?"
After receiving a response from these questions, "What is this about a ghoul?"
DM Puppet Master |
Sesserak peers at Arden for a bit before seeming to relax slightly. "Old man is Hunclay. He didn't like tower, so he hired us to help bring it down."
She frowns at the question about the ghoul. "Ghoul. Big ugly dead thing. You must've seen it if you're here. It attack us when tunnel break into underground tower complex area thing." She puffs out her chest in pride. "We crafty, crafty kobolds quickly make barricade with trap to stop it from eating us. No ghoul coming here, nope nope!"
Sir Florace |
We fought the ghoul earlier.
Hunclay, Florace muses, he was some important figure in this town. Sesserak, do you know why he wanted the tower brought down? And do you mean to tell me that he ordered the tower collapsed and then went inside while you were collapsing it?
DM Puppet Master |
"Bah! Silly human no tell us anything." She adopts a haughty and condescending manner. " 'Little kobolds could not possibly hope to understand my research. Is best if you just go and do as told.' Bah! Stupid human not so smart; he manage to get himself squished by falling rocks." She does not seem to be in the slightest bit upset by his death.
Arden Svoen |
"It seems that we were in a similar situation just recently. It was common knowledge that Hunclay wanted the tower demolished. From what I understand, he had tried to convince Devy to have it taken down before. When was the last you saw Hunclay alive? Was he with you when the ghoul attacked?"
DM Puppet Master |
Sesserak frowns. "I last saw him...before he was dead. He was not here when we found ghoul. We found ghoul because got bored waiting for him to show up, so went digging. Then we trapped ghoul, he shows up, rocks go squish. Then you come."
DM Puppet Master |
Sesserak shrugs and then pads silently back the way you came. When she reaches the fork in the tunnel, she turns down the unexplored path. After traveling a few dozen feet, you come upon a hole in the ground, the entrance to a tunnel. While Sesserak has no problems navigating, the tunnel is only about 4 feet in diameter, forcing most of the group to crouch awkwardly as they go through. After maybe 4 or 5 hundred yards, you emerge onto a ledge overlooking a flooded quarry.
Sesserak points at a path that seems to wind its way down towards body of water. "Follow that and can't possibly miss tribe's lair. Is biiiigggggg cave complex. Sesserak can go now?" She looks hopefully up at the group.
You've now explored all of the area under the tower. I'm also going to assume that at some point you're going to check the bodies of the four kobolds you killed earlier, so I'm going to go ahead and post what you found on them.
- 3 vials of a clear liquid Perception or Detect Magic + Spellcraft

- 5 gems Appraise
Arden Svoen |
Arden casts detect magic on the vials.
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (19) + 9 = 28
He then examines the gems to determine their worth.
Appraise: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13
DM Puppet Master |
You think the gems are worth 15 gold each.
People should decide what else they want to do/what they want to do next. If you don't, I'll pick for you to move things along.
Sir Florace |
We may as well let her go now. I don't see that keeping her around will help much.
You can leave here safely, Sesserak.
Florace examines the area Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14, then heads down the path.
Also, we take the stuff on the kobolds with us.
