Stonetree quickly breaks free from the webs with a few curses and some questionable logic that some how made Chortles responsible for him being webbed.

Stonetree breaks the webs with which his is bound.
Osiris blasts each of the spiders with his powerful force magic, but surprisingly they do not topple as his other targets have. If the target has more than two legs, add +2 to the DC of the combat maneuver attack roll for each additional leg it has...an extra +14!

Selethe offers a quick prayer to Iomedae, beseeching her aid for the party against these foul creatures of darkness.
Casting bless.

DM PatheticWretch |

Heh...it's a 9-legged spider!
With some metagaming intervention of some kind, one of the spiders does flop over on its back. Stonetree mysteriously contracts several STDs.
Selethe calls forth some blessings for the group.
The spider quickly rights itself, and then seems to call forth some kind of magical powers. A mist builds up around the Pathfinders, obscuring view beyond five feet.
The second spider tries to catch Selethe in its webs, and succeeds in trapping her in the sticky strands, then advances toward her.

Coughing as the eerie fog descends and cuts off vision, Dragos decides to follow the distinct mass that is stonetree towards the sound of fighting, just in time to see the rough and tumble brawler plant onne right between the spiders creepy blinking eyes. Drawing his scythe, the Undertaker steps in and sweeps at the creature with the curved blade, like a farmer cuts wheat.

"Don't worry, I've got this under control." Chortles tries to keep a straight face, but already knows how badly this is going to turn out. He grabs his bow, pulls back an arrow, and puts a hand over his eyes so as not to see the arrow stick out of one of his companions.

What was that acrobatics roll for, Stonetree?
Stonetree punches one of the spiders with his battle-hardened fist. Dragos rushes in behind the brawler and finishes the spider off.
Gratus manages a feat of strength to escape from the spider's webs.
Chortles fires an ill-aimed arrow, which gets lost in the webs that hang like wispy ropes.
Selethe remains bound tight. The spider, seeing her stuck and senseing a meal, bites at her. But it can't get past her initial defense.

Grasping tightly to the huge spider's ugly hide, Tarantio's eyes narrow as Stonetree lays into the creature, twisting to avoid the careless blows from the big man. Fed up of the game now, Tarantio bites down and slaps the Spider with its tail, just in case it has any life left.

Chortles beams with pride at his one arrow sticking out of the spider. He's not even discouraged as the arrow falls free of its own accord. "Mighty fine work, my companions. We today have toppled the great! We have sealed the fates. We are now part of history. We are living breathing legends."
Using his bow as a triumphant scepter, he joins Osiris at the West door to continue making history.

"Are we ABSOLUTELY SURE there aren't any more secret doors?" asks Selethe with a big eyeroll. "Hopefully the next level down won't be as goofy."
Great job everyone!

DM PatheticWretch |

After some time back in town to recuperate, the intrepid Pathfinders continue their efforts to map out the Emerald Spire...as well as locate the missing wizards.
The Emerald Spire protrudes from the western wall of this room. Stairs lead up from the central portion of the room to an iron gate to the south and a reinforced wooden door to the north. Four arrow slits to the north look out over the room. Next to the east wall, narrow stone steps descend deeper into the dungeon.
On to level 3! If anyone's perception or initiative changed, please update on the Combat Map.

"What fun we will have!" Chortles swooshes in, making sure to steal the conversation. "We have conquered the ever tainted layer of traps and spider! We have defeated the great monster goblin! We have solved mysteries beyond compare!"
Chortles lowers his voice for effect, "Now we truly will prove our worth! This place can not stop us. We will prevail!"

Selethe sighs and laughs as the others immediately resume their antics. "Perhaps this time we could try being a little more careful? I'd prefer we don't get crushed or anything on this level." She knows she's speaking to deaf ears.

As he sings, he moves towards the northern door to open it and quickly step back for StoneRoot to take the damage.
Stone tree has also moved to the north door on the map, so I think we've got the two votes to move to the north.

DM PatheticWretch |

I re-positioned some of you on the map to account for what is about to happen...
As the group decides what to do and turns toward the north, Selethe and Stonetree hear a light clunking noise just ahead. Both notice that the north wall contains four arrow slits, and have just enough time to see prepare themselves before a pair of crossbow bolts streak toward the Pathfinders.

Selethe tries to lend a hand, but can't get to the door with Stonetree in the way. Your 1 misses regardless.
Chortles tries to find a way to stop the arches, but can't quite see them behind the arrow slits. I'm going to say you have to see your target to cast grease on it. All you really see is the arrow slit, not the weapon to cast grease on...want to change your action? If so, go ahead and take 2 actions.
