Nemrok nearly has to plead with the fetchling monk in order to strike some fear into his heart, perhaps only succeeding as their foe realizes he is surrounded by several foes and a pair of clerics who can keep them on their feet.

Agon coughs and wakes up. Realizing he's in terrible shape and the fetchling pummeled him easily, he decides to play dead.
This martial play isn't working out well for me...maybe I should pick up the spellbook again...

Giovanni lands a telling blow while Uthil retaliates against Finn, hoping to land a blow before the warrior can strike out again with his multiple weapons. His third and final strike in a frenzied blur connects but is not enough to stop him (9 dmg).

Stunning fist on first strike; ki now for +AC

Flurry vs Finn: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11 for 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5 (or Agon if he was still up)
The tide turns against the fetchling as Kildrek undoes most of the injuries that he's inflicted at this point. Still, the monk works to move himself out of a flank as he's surrounded by several attackers. Seeing several foes around him wearing heavy armor and Agon on the ground and in his way, he kicks out at the ranger, knocking him unconscious again.
He then punches out at Finn but fails to connect as he takes a position over Agon's fallen body.
He appears to be acting more defensively now with all the injuries he's taken and fails to strike

Gritting his teeth, the fetchling continues his assault, working to maneuver out of any flanks from the handful of warriors that continue to surround him. Luckily for the Pathfinders, he appears winded and more focused on defense than actually inflicting harm.

Agon dreams of his past, and wonders if he'll get another chance.
Agon strapped to a chair, receives an anatomy lesson from his mother. [i]At least the human died painlessly[i], he thought. Her hand moves with surgical precision between the cadaver and her own body, to remind Agon of the differences between humanoids. He gulps and repeats her words. She asks if he wants to touch the human, which he violently refuses. His father tells him to keep quiet, it's the first of many lessons.

Seeing that the best way to help his new friend Agon is to strike down the enemy, Kildrek tries to take advantage of flanking and strikes!
Scimitar: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15 for Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Finn puts an end to the fetchling monk's "dancing" and pummeling, his second strike with his two-bladed sword bringing about a swing end to the shadowy man's plans.
Out of combat!
Yet, the two Blakros women continue to sway and stare ahead, apparently still in their trance.
Realizing the pyramid structure in the room may be connected to the trance, you all examine it closely.
The 10-foot tall black stone pyramid exudes an eerie black essence from its apex, which seeps into the air and slowly dims the illumination of the room, but not enough to change the mechanical light level.
Surrounding the relic’s apex are a dozen bloodstones set into the rock face, from which a strong aura of conjuration and illusion emanates.
This looks to be about a DC15 Disable Device check per stone (there are 12).
The fetchling you just faced was carrying some sort of ceremonial dagger - it's long and dark, with a sinister curved blade. Runes along the length of the blade appear written in the Infernal tongue.
Kildrek Autumnwind
|
Kildrek will aid Agon as soon as he can.
Rebuke Death: 1d4 ⇒ 3 That might get you to 1 HP, correct?
Kildrek will then borrow a wand to heal the man.
CLW: 2d8 + 2 ⇒ (5, 2) + 2 = 9 Close enough I think. Two changes off of whoever's wand.
Kildrek tries to look at the ones in the trance. So, what do we do 'bout these here people? And did we find a key?

Agon coughs. "No, not the scapel... Did we win?" Agon rouses away. "I am in your debt, everyone. Thank you."

Agon starts looking for some keys. "The women are linked to the Blackheart's ritual, but I don't know to what end."

The fetchling monk does indeed carry a key, and it looks like it would match the lock on the shackles you found earlier.
You additionally find (I'm not worried about Spellcraft rolls at thi point): a potion of cure moderate wounds, a potion of shield of
faith, the ceremonial dagger, bracers of armor +1, and a cloak of resistance +1.
Uthil also wore a prominent onyx ring on his left hand, which sports the same rune as appears on the branded slaves’ head. He also had tucked away a copy of the Penumbral Accords detailing the original agreement forged between the Blakros family and the agents of the Onyx Alliance.
Agon Abstruss

"We found the key? Thank the gods. Let's free those people..."
"We need to free these two, as well. They are in some kind of trance. Maybe the ring is linked to it?" He takes the ring and waves it at the women. "Ladies. Listen to me. I'm holding the ring, correct? You will follow me and my allies."
| DM Panic |
Waving the ring seems to have little effect on the two young ladies.
Barring any further insight, you'd imagine the pyramid and the bloodstones are partly responsible for conjuring whatever effect is happening, and worst case breaking something that seems bad isn't metagaming in my book. :)
So someone can feel free to take the leap to go as far as breaking those gems.
G'thûrz Nazgûl

"These things give me a bad vibe. I would be happy to destroy them."
... and Naz will start to destroy anything that seems connected to shadows
... starting with the smaller things and moving to the pyramid until the spell is broken ...
| DM Panic |
Agon, key in hand, quickly frees and rounds up the prisoners from the cells.
Meanwhile, as the twelfth and final stone is destroyed by Nazgul's swings, the museum seems to shudder briefly.
After only a few breaths, you realize the shadowy overlay is subsiding and your light begins to glow ever brighter.
The fetchling monks body first ripples with a shadowy pulse, then completely disappears.
It seems the joint occupancy of the Blakros Museum and the Shadow Plane have come to an end.
Just like that, Eleanir and Michellia's trances come to an end. They collapse forward with a yelp before sitting up and rubbing their eyes.
"What happened?"
"Eleanir, are you okay?"
As they are briefed of your heroics, they both thank you genuinely and profusely and promise that once the Blakros family hears of your bravery, they will take note of you all.
And that's a wrap! Chronicles will be coming out shortly.
