Jarha heals Absinthe back to consciousness and then starts building a charge of energy. Absinthe comes to and crawls to cover, drinking a healing potion.

Segang grimaces through the wounds and continues swinging his scythe. He manages to catch the nimble foe once for a solid slice, but again the false Vencarlo's flesh proves especially resilient.

The true Vencarlo, unable to harm his impostor, moves to help Neolandus.

Melianthe's hound archon appears and immediately attacks but cannot land a hit. She flies over to Absinthe and adds more healing magic.

Seren casts another blast of dazzling colors, finally breaching the creature's spell resistance. False Vencarlo recoils, covering his eyes in stunned shock.

Vencarlo Will save: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (1) + 15 = 16 ... stunned!

I am not sure I have a better weapon to harm this creature. But reviewing my character I will mention that each hit would be doing 3 damage more if the enemy is a spell caster from Witch Hunter. Not sure I need to know if its a spell caster or not but will ask you to add the damage if appropriate.

Segang continues to fight, but now with a flank.

Shoot! That would have been a good hit. I could have used my electric blast which targets touch AC (but does less damage) but I am assuming a creature that does electricity damage on heads is probably immune to electricity damage.

He then uses a move action to again gather energy and takes a five foot step to the spot where Senshiir last stood.

Melianthe heals Absinthe again. The hound archon continues to struggle hitting with its sword, but chomps down hard and tears a bit of the impostor's flesh.

Seren runs over and snatches up the dropped kukri.

The false Vencarlo shakes off the stun and lets out an inhuman snarl. He moves out of the flank and launches into flurry of unarmed punches and kicks against Segang.

Realizing that the electricity damage was coming from the kukri, and risking that the creature has spell resistance, Jarha takes a move action to gather energy and then hits the creature with an electric blast, desperate to damage it. He also takes a 5 foot step to adjust his position.

Per the map the hound archon is not in a flank. I think I can 5' step him to flank with Seren though, assuming Seren threatens. I would move him but the map will not let me move NPC icons.

Segang will delay if necessary to see if Abby will flank with him. I will post my attacks with the flanking bonus but they can be subtracted if Ab does something else.

The barbarian is puched 4 times but he is quite tough and much of the damage fails to penetrate. [ooc]40 damage but 15 soaked from DR so 24 gets through. Still the damage piles up and its obvious the big man cannot take many more rounds of punishment. He does his best to return some damage.

Right. My understanding was that Melianthe likely intended for the hound to 5 step into that flank before doing his full attack.

Ah, thanks! I added it to my attack; my AC is sucking no matter what, so a chance to stick this … thing seems like the better choice.


Jarha sends a blast of electricity at the false Vencarlo, but the energy just fizzles harmlessly against the man's skin.

Melianthe tries a hex against Vencarlo, but he remains unaffected. The hound archon shifts position to keep him flanked, while slashing and biting. It barely manages a hit against the evasive foe, and the archon's greatsword hardly leaves a wound.

Vencarlo Will save: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (10) + 17 = 27

Segang has more luck, hitting twice with his scythe. Although he hits hard, the blades still meet significant resistance.

Absinthe rushes in to the fray. Seren makes a distracting feint, trying to leave an opening for Absinthe to exploit. The tiefling strikes but misses by several inches.

Still wordless, the impostor continues to press Segang, seeing him close to succumbing to his many wounds. He shifts again to avoid multiple flanks.

Melianthe moves to Segang and taps him with the healing wand. The archon keeps swinging and biting, but cannot hit the agile foe.

Segang misses and clips the false Vencarlo with the back swing. The enemy has taken some hard hits, but its stout damage resistance has proven the difference.

Seren again adds a distraction for Absinthe. Unfortunately, Absinthe's attack proves a hair off the mark and the foe is able to twist out of the way.

The false Vencarlo assaults Segang with another flurry, trying to take the big Shoanti down, despite the healing.
