Tanagowu Sora |
Shalelu stiffens under Sora's touch but relaxes a little. "You really think you're going to get me to rest Sora? I need to go check on Ameiko. It was bad Sora...really really bad...I just hope that old bat is able to patch her up, but it might have been to late." After her burns are tended she struggles to her feet intent to go check on Ameiko unless others insist on stopping her.
I need to get used to using the right Alias!
Sora instantly moved o support Shalel as she rose from her seat."If you're going to be stubborn, at least you won't get out of my sight anymore today. See what happen when you don't bring me with you?" the half-elf grumbled, the gentleness of his gestures belying the slight sting of his attempt at humor.

Derric |
Derric breathed a sigh of relief although he was a bit embarrassed by his actions and words.
He quickly said,"Um...I was just very worried about her that's all! Yes yes just very worried about Ameiko that's all. She is my childhood best friend after all."
He then replied to Koya's statement about Shalelu, "I think there were some healers there tending to her when we left the Rusty Dragon. But she probably should still need a look over just in case. She was pretty beat up when she stumbled into the inn. Do you know what happened to Shalelu and Ameiko, Lady Koya?"
Derric knew both Ameiko and Shalelu could take care of themselves but whatever they had went up against was probably powerful. Still he knew he had sworn an oath to the Order of the Shield and that meant he had to protect the people of Sandpoint. And if he got the chance to punish those who had harmed his friends especially Ameiko the victory would be even sweeter.
Karp the Kobold |
I still haven't decided on a second trait, but this is my mostly finished concept: an "imperial kobold" who is trying to become the family guardian (or kirin) of the Kaijistu family.
By the way, I'm taking the Childhood Crush for Ameiko, but I was wondering if I could reflavor it so that, rather than earning her love, Karp is trying to earn her approval as a guardian spirit. If she ultimately acknowledges him as a true and proper dragon spirit, that counts as earning her "love". Would that be cool?

Inspired at learning of his history, Karp trained for 5 years with Lo Shin'Pa, relentlessly learning to master the power in his blood and harness it for his new purpose: becoming a family kirin himself (and in the process, becoming a full fledged dragon!) Daily meditations and deep reflection with the aid of a friend of the dragon, a Samsaran named Rai Nox, allowed Karp to reach deep into his bloodline's history and learn the name of the family he must protect: the Kaijitsu family. With Lo Shin'Pa's aid, Karp learned that the last member of the family, Ameiko Kaijitsu, lived in a town far to the west called Sandpoint. Taking wing on his mentor's back, Karp traveled quickly to his new charge and eventually found her... much to her confusion.
Currently, Karp resides in Sandpoint, staying as close to Ameiko as he possibly can without annoying her, but watching dutifully over her from day to day.
When "off duty", Karp likes to learn as much as he can get his claws on, even if he has some trouble understanding it. Although not particularly studious or bright, he enjoys flexing his mental capacity and challenging his mind in new ways. Anything that relates to dragons or dragonkind in particular excites him, and can occupy his time for hours on end if he's not careful (a fact Ameiko has exploited to her advantage more times than she cares to count). He enjoys experimenting with new things, and if something unknown is on hand, you can bet it will be Karp's hands that be the first to toy with it... even if he probably shouldn't.

Karmaren |
Finally got the stats and story down in the profile. I'll primarily be ranged support with minor healing because of Erastil. I specifically chose not to be a Divine Archer b/c I've seen that get way too crazy way too quickly before.
Well I guess if we're all agreed then, says Karmaren looking at all of his companions, what say we go and see how Ameiko and Koya are doing. Old girl can't get into too much trouble. Realizing what he's said, Karmaren winces and says in a small voice, Don't let Koya know I called her an old girl. That woman can be downright scary when she wants to be.
Leokian Trasandoral |
Leokian rises late, barely before noon. After a wash and getting dressed, he settles in to study the day's spells, then read for a while. He is in no hurry to leave his room. After a few trips here in the past, Sandpoint isn't new to him and its pleasures are limited as far as he is concerned. He has already been waiting for three days this time for that damnable cousin of his to show up in town anyway.
Finally Leokian dons boots and jacket to go downstairs. Yes, she certainly could be infuriating sometimes. I'm certain I sent a message telling her I'd be coming. I think. Almost positive I did. He smiles to himself a bit as he thinks about her even though his mood is still sour.
The elven arcanist's traveling clothes are very finely made, but show some travel wear. Still he makes for an impressive figure coming down the stairs. Tall and very thin with long blond hair, he has a couple of large books tucked under his arm.
Coming down to the main floor of the Rusty Dragon, he sees that the place is almost empty. Strange, I thought I heard a quite a bit of commotion down here only a few minutes ago.
As he walks farther into the room he sees one table in disarray, along with what looks to be some blood on the floor by it. Ah, a fight in here already today? Tsk, I certainly do like Ameiko, but I really have to wonder about her standards with this place sometimes.
With nobody else around to ask, Leokian walks over to the long bar, and asks one of the servers behind it: Young Lady, could you tell me if there has finally been any sign of Shalelu arriving back here?
It seems poor Leokian took too long to arrive and missed the pre-start RP session. Very sorry!
I still have to finish up spells and background, but everything else is done I believe
Giovanni Xando |
Giovani runs his fingers through his hair, brushing the maple locks from his eyes. His hand's fall to his lap, drying his fingers on the blue linnen robes he wears before turning the page on the book in his lap. His head lifts hearing the commotion inside the tavern at his back.
"Why do I choose to read here. It is always so noisy inside." Giovani thinks to himself as his eyes scan the street leading to the Rusty Dragon. The weather has been pleasant as of late and people are swimming through the streets, enjoying the many shops. It seemed the whole town was out going somewhere today. All but the members of the caravan that arrived two nights past. What they brought with him answered his question to himself. He isn't reading here for their good, but for something of far greater value. Their information. A member of the guard mentioned seeing a blonde elf not a day out of the city. Giovani set his perch in this seat, outside this tavern, in hopes of seeing Shalelu.
The wizard shifts slightly as his light is blocked. An involuntary movement that he hardly took notice of. His finger traces the lines on the page as his eyes scan just behind them. His finger dances down the page so fast, a careful observer would not believe the man is actually reading. Surely it is not possible to comprehend anything at that speed. Yet Giovanni continues to fly through the work retaining each letter.
His fingers reach the end of the page and grip the parchment flipping to the next. As his hand moves through the familiar movement his head lifts for a moment, eyes darting across the street scanning his surroundings. At this moment he notices for the first time the man standing over him.
Giovani's eyes lift never meeting the eyes of the man before him. He clears his throat, palms begining to sweat, as he attempts to find his voice. "M..may I be of assistance?" "No that is not right. Try to sound more casual. You can do this. Casual. Casual. Casual. What would Ameiko say." After mentally coaching himself, he tries again in the same small voice, that ironically is trying to sound confident, but instead comes out like a child trying to be tough. "W..What d..do you want?"
Character should be to specifications. Let me know if I missed anything. Background is in the profile, just easier to explain my autistic wizard by showing examples of his play.
Will you be using the background skills from unchained?
Lou_Kasuri |
I just asked the GM to separate the Prologue Role Play from the game, this way those that are either late to the prologue or did not have ample chance to participate much will not be left out if they are selected.
I for one cannot participate unless it would be agreed to start over as my character backstory, as I envision it, makes it impossible to join now without playing my character so much out of character it would not be my character anymore.
I personally got stuck working 2 16 hour days and cannot post from work. and the prologue advanced to much so I choose not to participate right now.
also just out of curiosity, those that are participating have their characters growing up in Sandpoint?
My character was born and raised there. was there for the goblin attack, was there during the Unpleasantness. saw the new cathedral being built from the very beginning.
Also I placed my character as the cook for the Dragon so anyone that frequents the dragon would know Lou and almost everything about him.

Lou_Kasuri-Brawler or Monk
Lou is a brawler... should not be undecided I was going to make him a monk but every time I tried that, i ended up not being the character that I envision. I like the Brawler a little better.
Lou_Kasuri |
I can expand on Lou's back story some more, I worked with what is Pathfinder history regarding Amieko and her family. trying to fill in some blanks that were not fully fleshed out before.
I could almost write a small novel regarding Lou and his family with all the information I put together and from previous adventures with Noro (his sister).
But that would be too much and I tried to cut it down to something manageable for the application.
Lou_Kasuri |
I updated Lou some more (found out I was under on the point buy for stats)
And yes I am going Brawler for this... probably multi into Samurai later (story reasons mainly)
also I did not notice that about the traits. Lou has always had that trait since I created him about a year or so ago (made him for a jade regent game and never got into one that lasted more than a few weeks real time.)
I even tried to play Lou in other homebrew games, but those never lasted either. (well actually one he died in the first combat)
Ichirou Yoshida |
coming back from a sparing match with one of the off-duty Sandpoint guards, Ichirou thought the wonderful day would not go wrong as he calmly walked towards the Rusty Dragon tavern, cooling himself with not only the cool Sandpoint wind, but also with a damp towel he brought with him. it only took a minute for him to reach the tavern, only slightly delayed by the lovely aroma of the town intertwining with the smells from the rusty dragon's kitchen, but what he saw and heard upon entering told him that the day just went south. Seeing Shalelu cut and burned was enough to cause some worry, but hearing that not only had she found Ameiko badly injured but also brought her to Koya for aid sent him quickly back out the door and towards Koya's home.
if news had already reached the Rusty Dragon.. he thought, I'm pretty sure that a number of people, Ayame-sama at the forefront, will be crowding around Koya-bachan's house
Upon arrival, Ichirou was happy to only see a handful of people at this time. the door was still ajar from everyone piling in, giving Ichirou the oppertunity to slip in and close the door behind him. He gave Koya a caring nod, but only stayed near the door with everyone already crowded around Ameiko
at least she's in good hands. he said low to Koya with a light grin

Damn haven't had enough time, to redo Tarvinda as much as I wanted....
I just put Tarvinda's stuff here because of the comment ...
Seems everyone is taking Ameiko as their childhood crush
cos she went with student survivalist ...
She's pretty much like before, except she'll go for improved disarm and stuff with a heavy flail ... as opposed to swinging a longsword around and demoralising those who saw her.
