Just throwing this up for people to dot in.

.

As you guys approach Sandpoint your hearts skip a beat for a few moments until you crest the final hill. Then you see it, Sandpoint in all its beautiful glory still there, no worse off then when you left. This means you are not to late to stave off the giant attacks that you learned about in the letter. Your heart resumes beating in your chest and you let out a collective breath as you approach the town. The streets were packed as you all came into town. Horns sounded as soon as you breech the gates and a loud cheer erupted. Confetti and streamers rained from open windows of buildings and the crowd barely parted around the party. Townspeople reached out trying to touch the "saviors of Sandpoint". As you make your way through the crowd you realize just how utterly uninformed of there impending doom they really are and a sense of dread starts to pull at your heart.

After a few moments the crowd dispersed and there it was. Right in the middle of town stood a 50 foot bronze statue of the party. A smiling Mayer Kendra Deverin stands to the left of the statue, wiping a tear from her eye at the surprised look on everyone's face. To the right of the statue stands Sheriff Hemlock with what you would swear was a smile on his face though it is hard to tell with his dour mood at the crowds in the streets.

Kresham can't help but feel cheered up with all the joy, even despite the knowledge of impending doom burdening his shoulders. However when the statue is unveiled, he is just speechless. He turns around to his fellows. "Would you just look at that - now that is going to make a good target!", he says discordantly.

Skarn looks back and forth between the statue and his companions. Finally he chuckles and says, "as ugly as that darned thing is, it sure seems that they did their best to catch your good side there Garrosh. Still, they didn't need to have the three of you towering over me like a bunch of damn stoney giants! Lookit there, being in the shade all the time, I'm getting a bit off moss behind my ears. Blast it! The architect shoulda known better!" Skarn points at the sheriff, "somebody want to tell her the good news, or shall I?"

Just a reminder while the crowed has thinned a little to make it to where you can get to the statue there are still citizens around...no need to start a mass panic...unless you want to lol.

I said "good news" didn't I? Nobody should panic at good news!

Wren grumbled at the sight. She wasnt often in a great mood and the news that the giants were coming, and that the whole town had gathered bothered her even more. She cut through the festivities with amazing precision, so ing in between hem as she cut a swath through to get to the officials.

"Mayor, Sheriff, you need to get the people out of here. We might only have a few moments before this town is crawling with a horde of Giants. We need those people somewhere safe and safe now," she hissed, as she didn't want to spark a panic.

"Hrumpf!" - Garrosh snorted a laugh, both at their reception, and at the statue - "I gotta admit that's impressive, and will certainly catch everyone's attention"

Skarn Hornfels wrote:

The snort was an all out laugh by now - "I'm not sure there is a 'good' side to be caught, but if there is, they surely found it!" - the half orc adds with a toothy smile, looking around and greeting those that went there to cheer them.

"Dunno what you mean - looks perfectly to scale from where I am looking" - Garrosh just keeps on laughing - "And the way you swing that pick of yours around, I doubt moss will ever gather anywhere on your body my friend!" - he offers with a good natured clap on the sturdy dwarf's shoulder.

Noticing Wren hastily moving off to speak with the mayor and sheriff, his tone becomes slightly somber as he follows her - "Here we go then?" - he nods to the others.

"Meh, someone had to tell them anyway - better her than me. Was hard enough not getting people in town just running away at my sight" - the half orc puts in, remembering his initial days in Sandpoint - "And you from cleaving my head" - he finishes, again with a chuckle.

I Realize I might have jumped ahead too far since we are just rolepying a bit. If you all any to say the crowd obstructed me, thats fine. I don't want to force things as I'm sure we will have a bit before Albion is ready.

You're fine Wren, I'm already enjoying the "role playing like we've been together awhile"

I am mostly done - brushing up on spells, and adding mundane gear ;)

"Ensorcelled you say? Only if it was by that most foul beverage they were serving at the Festival..." - the half orc bumps against his companion - "And I DOUBT that, since I've seen you down much worse in Magnimar, and still keep your wits about you" - he grumbles in a fake bad temper.

"So no. You were going for my head. Because of course, if goblins are attacking, surely the half-bred orc is up to no good also, right?!" - the words are harsh, but the jest is already familiar between the gigantic Garrosh and Skarn.

"Dammit Orc! There was money and honor on the line! I couldn't let you all down."

|| Loot List || Male half-orc Bloodrager 1 / Inquisitor 6 / Fighter 1 <> AC: 20 // HP: 64/64

"Half-Orc" - Garrosh sighs - "On the honor you know I stand with you, but the money... What was that? One hundred pieces? Bah! Well, you held your own, I'll give you that - I was getting ready to rub that one in until the day we die" - he winks at the dwarf - "There will be other chances I'm sure... Dwarf!"

"Yes, yes, but those elves didn't need the 100 gold, what would they do with it? Probably buy more dishwater wine instead of a real drink. We made much better use of the money than they ever could." Skarn shook his head.

Wren wrinkled her forehead and put her right hand up to it. Talking, talking, always with the talking! To be from the opposite side of the racial world, those two were peas in a pod.

"Yes, yes, the elven wine. I've heard about it. From you two. Like 15 times already!". Wren barely recalled her life before he Swallowtail Festival which brought she, the two miscreants, and that other one together. It's good they have have skills and are handy in a fight, she thinks, as her stress headache began to pulse even harder.

"Well Wren, fifteen times seems reasonable, it was three days ago after all. And we wouldn't have to tell you about such things if you could stay up past nine thirty!"

Noticing that Wren went straight for the mayor, Kresham catches up to her and grabs her on the shoulder.
"Wait, Wren, we have to be prudent about this", he says in an urgent whisper. "We don't want this throng of people to burst into panic - or it can cause as much damage as any raid. I think I have an idea. We more or less know the direction the giants will come from, right? Why don't we suggest to arrange the celebration in the opposite part of the town? And then we can privately talk to the mayor and the constable about setting up defenses."

"I would rather the celebrations would cease completely" - the half-orc voices his opinion in private, his tone now far from joyous - "These people should know the threats they face, so they can prepare accordingly"

The mayor and Sheriff look at you all slightly puzzled. The mayor speaks to you guys in a hushed tone "Is there something we need to discuss in private? If so we can do so after this ceramony and I'll make it short."

"I think speaking in private would probably be for the best. It's really important, so I'd keep it really quick if I were you. It might be a good idea to get them somewhere as protected as possible. The town is facing invaders."

Wren ignored Skarn's barbs, knowing the town was more important than growling at him. For the time being, that is.

CG Male Dwarf Inquisitor 9 HP:101/101 AC: 23* TCH: 12 FF: 22 CMD: 22 (26 vs Bull Rush, Trip; +4 vs giants) | F+10*, R+4*, W+9*

Skarn considered the statue while enduring the rest of the ceremony. [b]"At least they got my hat right,"[b] he whispered to Garrosh.

The mayor turns to the crowed in the streets and waves a hand in front of her to finish silencing them. "Our hero's have returned to us. Let us rejoice as safety and prosperity has once again returned to Sandpoint." a loud cheer rings out through town and then dies down again. "I declare this day a day of celebration! Go forth and celebrate the return of our hero's! I decree all drinks and food at the taverns and services at the pixies kitten are half off today." The towns people quickly disperse to head to the taverns in town and some sneak off to the pixies kitten.

The mayor then turns to the group and says "There that got rid of them, lets speak in my office." She makes her way through the strangely empty streets it seems strange that just a few moments ago the streets were packed and now they are empty. The faint cheers and shouts coming from the Rusty Dragon as you pass by make you feel a certain sense of worry. What if the giants attack now, what if everyone lost their lives here on this day, a day of celebration and half priced debauchery. You are all snapped out of your revelry as you enter town hall and make your way into the mayors office.

"So what is it this time?" she says rather bluntly.

Is it wrong that when people headed towards the Pixie's Kitten, I wondered how much Shaeda will make today?

Skarn states, "well, your honor, it's certainly not good, but I think maybe Wren can tell it the best. She has a way of making bad news seem better than it is."

Kresham gives Skarn a nudge - don't start like that, you're just making it seem worse!
"Well it's not all bad, actually - I mean, the Kreeg ogres are totally not sending along their warband to Sandpoint after we've decimated their clanhold and slain the stone giant necromancer who had them enslaved into serving his warlord!"

She'd be rich lol then again she can only entertain so many at a time...no need to go into what that actual number is lol

"Yes, the news are dire and very serious" - Garrosh adds to the mayor, even if he wants to laugh at Skarn's comment - "Even though we should try to avoid panic as best as possible, defenses must be set up right now"

He ponders his next words very carefully - "And perhaps we should actually let the people know, so they may plan accordingly themselves"

As you all give the announcement the Mayor grows pale and eventually faints at the dire news.

|| Loot List || Male half-orc Bloodrager 1 / Inquisitor 6 / Fighter 1 <> AC: 20 // HP: 64/64

Garrosh moves swiftly to prevent the mayor from falling down - the look on his face is a dire one - "We must act" - he nods at the others, laying Deverin gently on the nearest sofa - "Someone fetch some sugared water"

Just then there is a knock on the door and a man steps into the office "Umm...oh my...I see she's rather busy...I can come back later...though I don't suspect you can give her a message for me when she wakes?" Looking at the man he is a human, thin as a rail, and in his mid 40's. He's clothing is covered in dried blood and it looks like he hasn't slept or eaten in days. "its of the up most importance."

Wren shook her head. "It has come to pass. The giants are near, aren't they? The Sheriff and the few guards we have need to focus on looking over the townsfolk. The rest of us, are going to have to take the fight to the giants. Remember, if my Confusion enchantment takes effect, let the giants start fighting amongst themselves. They might thin themselves out for us. I won't be much good against a dragon. Kresham might need to focus his ranged effects on that beast. And we all need to pray to whatever gods we have that we can hold the town."

Skarn chews his cigar a bit. "Far be it for me to disagree with you lass, but there's a reason them giants are coming here, and we don't know what it is. Some guy named Teraktinus, a giant most likely, is coming here for some specific reason. Now, it's a devil of a choice to make, but we must needs stop Teraktinus from achieving his goal. Perhaps at the expense of parts, or maybe the whole, of the town, but we need to do it. It is quite likely a greater good question"

|| Loot List || Male half-orc Bloodrager 1 / Inquisitor 6 / Fighter 1 <> AC: 20 // HP: 64/64

The man stands back and listens to you guys discuss back and forth before clearing his threat. "Um...excuse me...but I know where the giant army is. Welcome Wern, Zahir, Kresham, and Albion! Lets get the discussion started. We have a lot to discuss so to get things started I will pose the following questions to the group and you guys can come to a consensus on them:

1) What events have solidified you guys as an unbreakable team? Or has no such event happened(working together because it "works" for now but if something better comes along so be it)?

2) Who would have been the target of Alderns advances and how would the party have reacted/intervened? I see the events of book 2 to be a great opportunity for the party to have bonded together(depending on the answer to question one that is).

3) Any other events that have happened that have bonded the party together beyond what happened in the first 3 books? Relationships with each other, intimate moments, family crisis, ect.

4)Are you all pretty familiar with the AP or do you need me to post up summaries of all 3 books as to what major events have happened?

Any questions for me can be posted here. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE try to get along with your fellow players. Another group I am running this for got into a rather nasty fight and it ruined the game for me(almost quit running them). This is meant to be a time where you guys can cooperate on your shared backgrounds since you guys have been saving the world together for the last 7 months or so.

Zahir here!

Need to nail down my spells, gear and feats. Well, teamwork feats anyways.

I'm not sure about our history, and unsure of what the other 3 characters are.

By this level we should be a nice cohesive group, right, so how did we get here?

Thats the main question now isn't it. Wern is a Evoker wizard, Kresham is an arcane archer, and Albion is a slayer.

So, I'm guessing I should have some healing spells then!

Thats a safe bet lol

I look forward to hearing from the others. For Albion, you interested in any teamwork feats that I could match you with?

I'll post some stuff that I think might have been our regular tactics. Definitely want to hear what spells Wern has, and Kresham's tactics as well.

I'm guessing I have a decent idea of Albion's tactics, haha.

Let me guess...stab it then stab it again and then if its still moving stab it again and because I can stab it again.

Wow, thanks for taking me on board DM Mathpro - I was still stumbling around with my concept. That was fast!

Teamwork feats sound solid Skarn - did you have anything in mind? :D

I'll have a base crunch up soon, so you have an idea where I am going with my character.

But I was thinking, you will be our only source of Divine Magic? We may have a problem there?

EDIT: We are needing some front line beef, scouting and perhaps an added divine sprinkle?

You were going to be the front line beef lol.

CG Male Dwarf Inquisitor 9 HP:101/101 AC: 23* TCH: 12 FF: 22 CMD: 22 (26 vs Bull Rush, Trip; +4 vs giants) | F+10*, R+4*, W+9*

If you want to be martial, but help the divine side, maybe Warpriest?

The warpriest bonus feats help a lot.

I dunno on Teamwork feats, never had the opportunity it's really, so I've always counted on Solo Tactics from Inquisitor to use them.

I'm definitely planning on using a 2H weapon, so ones like Shield Wall won't help.

Let me look at them and see what pops out.

We could make a strong front line you and me! I could share the healing judgement with you in most fights, give you fast healing, plus a warpriest can swift action heal himself, if you went that way.

Do whatever, we'll make it work! The AP is designed for 4 PCs.

Hehe, I'm ok with being the frontline beef - what if I turned the table around and went Paladin? :O

CG Male Dwarf Inquisitor 9 HP:101/101 AC: 23* TCH: 12 FF: 22 CMD: 22 (26 vs Bull Rush, Trip; +4 vs giants) | F+10*, R+4*, W+9*

Paladin is an excellent class for this AP! If you're heading that direction, can I point you towards the Oradin? I've played mine up to 8th level in Iron Gods and it's quite impressive. Being 11th you'd want to be Paladin 7/Oracle 4.

Check out my "Chakos" alias to see what he looks like at 8th, maybe check out the game he is in to watch his healing happening inside of fights.

Half Elf works best, because you get both classes as favored, at 9th, and you'd be able to have it by 11th the Ultimate Mercy feat is amazing, for death situations, hahaha.

4 levels of Life Oracle only loses one point of BAB, and gives you 2nd level spells, loads of channeling and 4 Life Links.

However, all Paladin is also quite excellent of a choice.

In the end, pick what seems fun, but the Oradin kicks plenty of butt, and is awesome with the heals.

Paladin would be fine if you wanted to change things up. Was kind of looking forward to seeing what slayer could do at this level but you guys could use a little more beef up front and a little more divine guidance.

Hey Skarn how would you feel about picking up a repeating crossbow at some point? Not to spoil it but the Inquisitor in Pirates Promise has one and uses it...rather well...

Yep, I am quite familiar with the Oradin, and simply love it.

So much so I am already playing one - though it seems it might fit us very well, adding some more divine tidbits to the mix :D

I may come up with something more devious though - give me some time to mull it over. Slayer is obviously on the plate, since I can't live without skills :D

Hey there, it's great to be a part of this group!
Now it's time to confess that I have never actually played a high-level caster, so I have very vague idea of what my tactics should be :)
Looking at the advice for the arcane archers on this board, it seems that one is played basically like a blaster wizard, focusing on delivering AoE spells from weird angles and starting points via his arrows. However, because I lose out on a few caster levels, my DCs are going to be mediocre.
That said, I have trapfinding, decent knowledge skills all around, and can potentially use spells to help with scouting (like invisibility), so I should get you covered on that front!
As for the teamwork feats, I could see something like Friendly Fire Maneuvers getting some use!

Arcane Archer and Oradin are both builds that can be painful to play up through, but once you get it rolling, they kind of rock!

I'm looking forward to seeing what the AA can do, and whatever Albion chooses.

With 30 seconds in Hero Lab, I could have a repeating Light Crossbow. The proficiency is the same, so no problem there.

None of the Teamwork feats are amazing, but check out Big Game Hunter. It gives +1/+2 against foes bigger than you. I mean, most high CR monsters are large, so it seems a no brainier for a melee character at higher levels. The equivalent of Weapon Focus and Specialization.

I am having second thoughts about the dungeon rover archetype - maybe I should discard it if we will spend more time in open terrain against animals than in dungeons against vermin? It seemed like a cool idea initially but then I thought at this level we probably won't see much vermin (unless Leng spiders count :) )

High CR vermin are pretty rare I think.

I'd expect most things we face from here in will be big baddies of the Outsider, Monstrous Humanoid, Undead, Humanoid, Dragon and a couple other types.

I've played this AP up to we died in this module. By now, we know that Giants, and Dragons are on the bad guys list.

And fear not, I won't let my knowledge of the first couple encounters be used. Once we're past those, I'm clueless as to what comes next.

So here are VERY brief descriptions of the events from each book. Once I get more ambition I will list out all notable NPC's you guys have interacted with, more information on the towns you have been to, and a list of all villins you guys have come across because some may still be alive depending on if you fell any are worth saving/redeeming.

Book 1:

The party attended the Swallowtail Festival (a ritual to consecrate Sandpoint’s new cathedral) and end up defending the town from a goblin raid. In the days to follow, the PCs became local hero's to the townspeople and were looked upon with awe and admeriation. One particular townsperson, Shayles Vinder, even tried to seduce one of you but you were interrupted by her father. How far things went is up to you as a group to determine. As you come to terms with your growing local fame, making friends and contacts among Sandpoint’s citizens, rumors of massing goblin armies build. One Shalelu Androsa goes to sandpoint with news of another pending attack by goblins, this one being much worse than the first. They are planning on trying to wipe sandpoint off the map. While you are preparing for that, the disappearance of a local tavern owner(Ameiko) leads the PCs to uncover treachery within The Sandpoint Glassworks and the existence of an ancient catacomb below the town. An investigation of these discoveries reveals two things: that monsters dwell below the city and that the goblin raid on the town that you stopped during the festival was but the first the monsters have planned. In order to save Sandpoint, the PCs must travel to Thistletop, the lair of the most powerful goblin tribe in the region, where they can confront the woman(Nualia) whose madness and wrath presents such a menace, yet who is herself the tip of a much larger conspiracy that will soon threaten all of Varisia.

Book 2:

When a string of murders strikes Sandpoint, the party began piecing together clues and soon realize the region may well face a plague of ghouls. After investigating murder scenes, interviewing victims, and perhaps running into some unexpected trouble along the way, one of the party members(yet to be determined by the group) disappears and the search for answers and the missing party member leads to Foxglove Manor. Arriving at Foxglove Manor, the party found the rumors about the mansion being haunted are entirely true. Eventually, they confront the murderer and capture of the party member—a ghoulishly transformed Aldern Foxglove(who you met in book 1)—only to discover he’s been working for another group based in Magnimar. Retracing his steps, the PCs come to the largest city in western Varisia and uncover a sinister secret society, finally confronting its monstrous leader atop a teetering clock tower.

Book 3:

After tying up some loose ends in Magnimar the Mayor seeks aid from the party and asks them to look in on one of their settlements. The fort that was set up to wacth over Turtleback Ferry, Fort Rannic, has suddenly gone quiet and the mayor has grown concerned. The party travels to Turtleback Ferry and discover that ogres have taken the fort. After rescuing the last three surviving members of the Black Arrows from a group of hillbilly ogres(much cooler than it sounds), the party mounts a daring raid against Fort Rannick and defeat the ogres within, only to learn that greater dangers are afoot. Soon thereafter, unnatural rains flood Turtleback Ferry
and the party must explore the ruins of an ancient dam called Skull’s Crossing. After saving the town from disaster, the party learn the ogres of Hook Mountain were to blame for the strange weather. The party climbs Hook Mountain to end the ogre menace once and for all, only to learn that the ogres might be the least of Varisia’s problems: the giants of the Storval Plateau are preparing for war. You take out a Stone Giant by the name of Barl Breakbones and figure by doing so you have put an end to the pending war, but you find the follwoing note in the cave where you defeated him:

Barl-

Latest contact with Teraktinus indicates he has narrowed the search-he believes a human town called Sandpoint could hide what my lord seeks. Teraktinus will lead several of the people, as well as the dragon, on a raid into the town soon. When they return, they may be pursued, and I may need your ogre slaves to aid in Teraktinus's retreat to Jorgenfist. Be ready to return at my command

M

Having found the note you frantically make your way back to sandpoint...hoping you are not to late and that it hasn't been reduced to rubble yet.

Hey guys, sorry. Busy day today.

In book two, I think Wren should probably have been the object of Aldern's crush.

I'll read your summary of book three to see exactly what happened in that one.

I'd think we could just say we met at the festival in book one. Wren isn't from town, so she would t have been here before then. Since then, she could have helped in town as a sort of deputy, librarian, and general jack of all trades.

I do intend to Intimidate regularly.

Guys, just to let you know I find that Slayer may overlap too much with Kresham Gull as far as skills go, so I've pulled up this guy, but I'm not sure if he is beef enough for first line, and if he will dish enough damage to be focused on - here's what he looks like with Divine Favor, Shield and Magic Vestment (cast in the morning) running. The "usual" tactics:

Judgements:
Ok, let me see. I can share a Judgement with you Albion, provided we are adjacent when I cast the spell.

Would you prefer:

+4 Sacred bonus to damage
Fast Healing 4
+3 Sacred bonus to hit (+6 to confirm crits)
+4 Sacred bonus to concentration checks and caster level checks (I'm betting not this one)
+3 Sacred bonus to AC (+6 vs rolls to confirm a crit)
+3 Sacred bonus to saves (+6 vs curses, diseases and poisons)
DR 3/magic
Energy Resist 8 (we'd pick an energy for each fight)
Overcome DR as Law, Magic, and Adamantine

Ok, those are the options. I suspect that it's either the bonus to hit, damage, or AC. Whichever one you choose, we'll both have, when I start a judgement and cast the right spell. I'll also have a second one. For specific fights, we could obviously agree to use a different one.

For that matter, if we were facing something and we needed the casters to be able to blow through SR, I could come to them and use the one for increasing caster level, etc.

Teamwork Feats:
I have several Teamwork feats that I can use on my own. My class features allow me to assume you guys have them, for my purposes.

Escape Route - I can move through spaces adjacent to my allies and not provoke AOOs. This can be useful for getting around to set up flanks and such, which leads to...

Outflank - I get +4 to hit when flanking

Intercept Charge - I can leap between an incoming enemy and an ally. Decent way to protect the squishies.

I can switch the last one multiple times per day to new ones. Also, if anyone was wanting me to match them on a teamwork feat, I can.

My melee tactics:

Skarn is a very straight up warrior. He does exceptionally well against the single opponent, particularly if it is larger than he and/or a giant.

Power Attack - more damage
Cornugon Smash - free action intimidate check (to give it the shaken condition) when I hit
Hurtful - If I hit something I have previously intimidated, I get another swing at it!

Mine is a bit of a "crit-fisher" build. My weapon does 4x damage when it crits, and it threatens on a 19-20.

My weapon is spell storing with an 11th level searing light stored in it. If anyone else has a better suggestion for the stored spell, I'm all ears. I can replace the spell myself, which is why I find it's a great option for me.

My Spells:

I encourage folks to look at my full spell list, but a couple highlights:

Dismissal and Hold Monster can end fights quickly

I can Dispel Magic, but would prefer that someone else do it. However, if it comes time to do this, I have a Judgement that will make it work better.

I can Silence and Darkness. (great ways to shut down certain foes)

I can Prot Evil (Communal) - great for keeping people from being possessed and such

I've got the 1st and 3rd level cure spells, but I suspect we're best off with wands, unless Albion becomes the uber-healer I am hoping for!

I can help us hit incorporeal creatures

I can discern lies

I can detect alignments (it just takes time, not like how the Paladin does it)

And a few other tidbits.

Other stuff you should know:

I can track pretty well
I can identify monster abilities pretty well

I don't know all that much about the Shaman. Is it intended to be a front liner?

Its a cross between an Oracle and a Witch so I see it more as a caster but the Oracle could grant it some front line power.

The combat stats presented above make it appear to be perfectly capable of frontlining. +16 to hit, and a 29 AC, with 99 hit points.

I think my biggest issue with it is just that the idea of sharing the front line with an orc is a bit distasteful. Of course, we'd have worked those issues out long ago and be Gimli and Legolas by now!

The shaman build looks a little MAD to me, plus I would say that the spirit animal could be a weak spot for a frontliner. You could possibly look at the 'speaker for the past' archetype?

But he cleverly pulls it off by putting 14's in everything but Dex, and then using two dual stat items for four of them, and then putting his orc bonus and his two level bonuses all into STR.

Starting at 11th allows a lot of flexibility, that might have been painful to play up through.

I notice that Garosh, at least in his draft form, has Craft Wondrous Item. Can we assume that over the course of our adventures that the wondrous items we have were created using that feat?

The only other crafting feat I see is Scribe Scroll on Kresham. But those would be wizard spells, so of no use to me, but Wren could use them!

I will say that having two blastery wizards seems both good and bad. We will see how it goes.

As a wise wizard once said, "what's the worst that could happen!!"

Having looked more closely at the party makeup, two wizardry types, perhaps our "usual" tactic is a bit unusual. Perhaps we pair up? Me and Garrosh each with one of the Wizards (except when a strong front line is needed).

Perhaps we have several battle plans:

Alpha - melee up front and wizards to the rear
Bravo - melee and wizards form pairs one way
Charlie - melee and wizards pair up the other way
Delta - scatter
Echo - RUN!!!

Well, naturally we could give them better names, hahaha. I'm just brainstorming.

Are you all familiar with the "200 RPG Rules to Live By?" You can find them in my Zahir alias. I will reference them in Discussion from time to time,

I will call your attention to rule 50 (and 87, apparently it was important enough to get listed twice).. Any suggestions? Obviously not Giant or Common. Early on, I think we'd have picked, and thus not Goblin.

let's see, some background, we really came together as a cohesive unit when we assaulted Thistletop! And then again, when we assaulted Fort Rannick. It turns out cadtle assaults are a strength of ours, and we're not so good with murder mysteries.

I'm just thinking out loud about how we got to here.

Hey! Who saved the strange fey chick and got her boon? What other cool loot? The snakeskin tunic? The amulet? The petrify mask?

It was awesome watching Garrosh go toe to toe with Jaagreth Kreeg!

If desired, I can recount a bit of how my gaming group did these things, but using these character names here, so we have some common history?

As a wizard, I've got Scribe Scroll as a known feat as well. I plan on using some of my remaining gold to scribe a few.

Thanks for the input guys - if I was going for a full frontliner, I would have built a Bloodrager - now THAT would be a frontliner :D

But since we seem to be needing added Divine power, I was shifting towards that direction - hesitated between Cleric, Oracle (Elven Ancient Lorekeeper for some picks on Arcane spells) or Shaman.
