I am making mine classless, because I hate classes with a passion, I just happen to like most of the other rules of D20, except that a bell curve is nicer to me then an even distribution.
I have two magic systems I am working on, one is more like DnD just in case I don't get the other to work right, the other one being more freeform similar to WOD D20.

I find it interesting, not a lot of new concepts but they seem to fit together alright for this.
Giving the earth ponies and pegasus non-magical "spells" is a good idea.
Though the earth ponies should get a their ability bonuses preset just like the others, player choice on such aspects is a bit more powerful, that's why humans seem so gimped (they have less racial feats and abilities because player choice is heavy).
Here is mine so far, though I can't edit it on my phone very well so I have basically let it sit until I get a computer again. I have several updates to implement when I get computer access though.
Earth ponies are given that advantage deliberately, actually, based on the advice of some posters. I'm still not sure about it.
And yeah, the point was to avoid too many new concepts--I like to keep things simple.
It means complicated for me. I like to keep things simple.
