Well, I think in Pathfinder RAW, it's just grappled condition (-4 Dex) and shooting into melee. But you're the GM, so you're the law :)

BTW, as grappling is a bit of a mess, here is good explanation (especially the flowchart), and here another.

JD, can you get the map updated? It getting difficult to figure out where everybody is

To keep game moving, I'll post different courses of action depending on the ruling for shooting into grapple

No chance of hitting Martok:

Marek scrambles forward, trying to close the gap between himself and the serpent. The deep snow makes it really hard to move, almost impossible. "Try to hold on, Martok! We're coming!" he shouts, panting and breath misting.

As wades in the snow, Marek shoots another arrow at the creature, hoping to hurt it and draw it's attention.
Move action: move to G15. Std action: attack with longbow
Longbow, PBS: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 4 + 1 = 151d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

50/50 chance to hit Martok:

Marek scrambles forward, trying to close the gap between himself and the serpent. The deep snow makes it really hard to move, almost impossible. "Try to hold on, Martok! We're coming!" he shouts, panting and breath misting.

Seeing Aurora's magic making Martok's armor oily and slippery-looking, Marek takes an aim and waits for an opprtunity to shoot.
Move action: move to G15. Std action: Ready action - shoot if the creature loses it's grapple

We'll go with the -4 penalty.
Vesna attacked and missed.
Marek's arrow missed the mark due to his precaution that he not hit the dwarf.
Exiel double moved next to the creature.

Round 2: Tatzylwyrm
Martok feels the serpentine creature flex its coils and about to rake him with his claws, its hideous breath on his face, when at the last second, he notices a small gap by his waist and quickly ducks and roll, escaping the creature's grasp! The Tatzylwyrm curses in Draconic but does not flee!

Spoiler:
To maintain grapple since Martok did not try to break out: CMB check: 1d20 + 9 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 9 + 5 = 15..critical miss, grapple is not maintained!
You have the luck of the gods!!

Aargh! Martok and Vesna to end Round 2 and then rest of party to start Round 3!

Not sure what to make of his slippery armor, the dwarf is just plain thankful that he is out that deadly embrace. Somewhat dizzy from the loss of blood, Martok is glad to know his new friends are with him.

He quickly around and grasps his spear with both hands and jabs at the beast's underbelly, hoping it is somewhat softer than the rough scales that scratched his body.

I see that you are summarizing the combat which is good, otherwise an idea of its AC would be good also. Thanks!

Martok's spear draws blood from the creature's soft underbelly. The creature looks very healthy, with Martok the only one hurting it so far! Taken 8 damage so far.

Did you count the +10 circumstance bonus from greased armor? Anyway, we got lucky there, it's no fun being grappled...

"Are you all right?" Marek heads towards the wounded dwarf, keeping his bow still ready. "I know how to bind wounds, but I got the impression your... flame.. powers... serve you better", he says starting to wonder what his companions are actually capable of.

Sorcerers, witches, who knows what... That one shoots ice from her fingertips, and that one walks lightly on snow as it was solid ground. What am I doing here with these beings..?

Martok is starting to say that it was nothing, that he is fine when the adrenaline slows down and the dwarf feels the extent of his wounds. With a grave face, he states, "I should be OK, tomorrow. Lord Fire has already granted his cleansing flame today." With that he starts gathering supplies from his pack and begins to bandage the bite wounds.

"We should push ahead; I'll just be a little more careful from now on."

no more healing left today. Shamans have to memorize the spell, no spontaneous casting.

You continue the road East, with the temperature still hovering just below freezing. After another hour of traveling....

Exiel, Marek, and Martok: Fort DC 16 saves vs. weather or suffer 1d6 ⇒ 4 nonlethal damage! Don't forget +5 bonus from winter gear.

As you are about to proceed further, you see something odd. Feathered bundles and strange fetishes hang from the lowest branches of the trees in this part of the forest, swaying and shifting in the wind. All are stuck through with small pins holding pieces of leather bound around them.

Are any of those bundles or fetishes close enough to the ground that we can reach them? If so, Exiel will try to take a closer look at the nearest one, but cautiously, with his shield raised. And this is only if he does not need to wander too far (10ft) from the party to do so.

I wonder what those things are?

Marek's teeth are chattering, and the cold creeps to bone and marrow. He can barely feel his hands anymore. Don't know if I can keep going on for much longer, he thinks but says nothing.

Sorry for missing some of the action yesterday... Staggered means one can take either move or standard action, but not both, right?

Cold... so cold... These damn fey are surely behind it all

Hands numb of cold, Marek draws an arrow and shoots at one of accursed creatures.
Longbow attack at orange sprite: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 121d8 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10

"Over there!" the hunter shouts and hopes Exiel can get the direction from the arrow.

I'm getting slightly frustrated with these dice rolls :D

Spell Tracker:
Oracle 1: 4/4 remaining

Are we simply on a snow-covered plain? No cover?

"તે શું છે? શું-ઓહ, પવિત્ર તમામ બાબતો ના પ્રેમ! હું ફરીથી આકાશી બોલતા છું, હું નથી?" She looks to Exiel and sighs in frustration. Vesna moves off to one side, trying to spot their attackers. The girl seems to almost speed along the top of the snow instead of sinking in like the rest of them.

Celestial:

What is it? What- Oh, for the love of all things holy! I'm speaking Celestial again, aren't I?

No movement penalty for Vesna. Move to K-15. Retry Perception
Perception: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (7) - 1 = 6

There, on the ridge, both sides! shouts Aurora.

She brings up her crossbow and fires in one smooth movement.

Move to F12. Aiming at the orange sprite
light x-bow: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19
piercing damage: 1d8 ⇒ 1

ok so on the plus side the orange sprite might be laughing so much at how my bolt tickled him that he misses his action... ;)

Male Dwarf Shaman (Flame) 4 | CMB: 3, CMD: 14 | F: +5, R: +3, W: +7 | Init: +7 | Perc: +9, SM +5 | Speed 20ft |

The dwarf winces as he pulls out the frozen needle. Following Aurora's gaze, he also moves towards the diminutive fey. "They have the advantage with their flying. let's move in and cut them off. One at a time!"

He trudges through the snow, pulls out his sling, and fires at the fey but the bullet falls way of mark.

to hit sling: 1d20 ⇒ 1
move to I15

Summary of party's actions:
Exiel focused on the party's attacks and spotted the three sprites as his body tried to fight off the numbness
Marek's longbow attack was wide of the mark
Vesna was lost in the confusion of the battle and could not spot any of her attackers
Aurora's bolt struck one of the sprites but his fey-toughened skin allowed him to shrug the bolt off
Martok's sling falls way short

Round 2:
Realizing they've been spotted, the sprites go on the offensive!

The blue-halo sprite shoots Vesna and misses!
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11...miss!

The green-halo spite flies up to H20 and shoots Exiel
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28...possible critical!
Confirmation: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13...no confirmation!
1 point of damage
Exiel Fort save: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6...fails, staggered again!

The orange-sprite, a female, feeling bold, flies up to F16 and intones arcane magic, when suddenly bright flashing colors shoot out of her hands and strike Exiel, Marek, and Martok in its burst!
Since a failed save vs. Color Spray will pretty much knock you out of the fight for rounds, you can roll your own saves.

Party is up, can't update map since I'm at work.
Marek is no longer staggered, only Exiel, even if he makes Color Spray save.
Since they're no longer hiding, Vesna too can see all the enemies.

Will save: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10

Dammit! Well, that's me out of the fight...

As the sprite closes in on Exiel's position, he fixes his gaze intently on the elusive figure, determined not to lose sight of it for as long as he remains conscious. Unfortunately, he does not remain conscious for very long...

Aurora draws a quick breath, recognising the arcane magic blasting her comrades, and thinking she must take this caster out of the fight.

She grits her teeth, moving up and harnessing her own magical energy, which culminates in her own spray of scintillating colored ice blasting through the location of the orange sprite.

Move up to F14, cast color spray in a fan encompassing F16 where the orange sprite is. DC 15 to save

Male Dwarf Shaman (Flame) 4 | CMB: 3, CMD: 14 | F: +5, R: +3, W: +7 | Init: +7 | Perc: +9, SM +5 | Speed 20ft |

Will save: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16

Closing his eyes at the last minute, the dwarf is able to avoid the worst of the spell from the fey. Martok notes that Exiel is down but has no time to spare at this time, not when the flying fey is so close.

He trudges through the snow and impales the tiny winter-touched with his spear.

to hit spear: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19
damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

The dwarf then crouches down to see how Exiel was doing. He yells, "C'mon everyone. One fey down, let's concentrate on the next one."

He is really hoping the fey leave but was ready to attack should they continue to harrass them.

If his movement doesn't get him within melee attack range, the dwarf will throw his spear since it's probably a short throw and he can retrieve it later. If he throws, then the to hit is +0 instead of +2 and the damage is +2 instead of +3.

Exiel falls... unconscious, blinded, and stunned for 2d4 ⇒ (3, 2) = 5 rounds, then blinded and stunned for 1d4 ⇒ 2 rounds, and then stunned for 1 round.

Martok's melee spear thrust hits the agile little sprite and you see a little of the wound close due to the creature's fey nature but it does not look near death. Will ignore crouch down as combat is not over.

Marek and Vesna up, then I will roll for result of color spray.
