The four wings of the tower are completely open on this level, forming one great, cross-shaped chamber with arched ceilings. The decayed remnants of a carpet run from the doorways at the end of each wing, meeting in the center, where a spiral staircase drops out of sight below. A large, throne-like chair stands in the middle of the eastern wing next to a big chest. Near the chair stands a robed troglodyte with an albino crocodile on one side and the four armed beast on the other. Before them a group of troglodytes that had been waiting for the party.

Byron Radanavich |

Round 1:
18/18 hp, AC 18/14/16, CMD 17, Magic Weapon, Protection From Evil.
Byron moves forward, and takes a swing at one of the flat-footed troglodytes!
Elven Curve Blade: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 5 + 1 = 15, for 1d10 + 9 + 1 + 1d6 ⇒ (3) + 9 + 1 + (5) = 18 Slashing damage.

DM Irthos |

Whoa no one said they cast anything before looking so no spells or buffs are in effect. Also I warned you about stating your targets.
Byron's attack goes wide missing the troglodyte. The robed trog cast a spell that takes effect as a swarm of bats appear above the stairway attacking Colyne.
1d6 ⇒ 5
Colyne takes 5 dmg and bleeds 1 dmg per round, magical healing or a DC 10 Heal check is needed to stop the bleeding. Nngara and Deslin are up.

Byron Radanavich |

Noted. Please be aware, though, that I still cannot open any spoilers that you make, DM Irthos (although I seem to be able to open those made by everyone else), so I actually have no idea how many 'normal' trogs there are.

You can always ask in the OOC topic. As for the spoiler thing I dont know what to tell you other then report it to pazio.

DM Irthos |

A trog moves in to flank from the northwest on Byron and attacks. Snapjaw moves forward to attack Byron as well. The beast Tulok coming in as well on the poor rogue. Byron avoids most of the many attacks going his way but each enemy strikes him at least once each tearing into his flesh until he falls.

1d6 ⇒ 3
Balenar takes 3 dmg and 1 bleed dmg. Trogs 6, 5, 4, and 3 are alseep. Byron is up.

Deslin Swifthand |

I don't think I have to make Will saves to maintain my song A bardic performance cannot be disrupted, but it ends immediately if the bard is killed, paralyzed, stunned, knocked unconscious, or otherwise prevented from taking a free action to maintain it each round. A bard cannot have more than one bardic performance in effect at one time but just in case.
Will Save 1d20 ⇒ 2
Deslin shoots at the Trog that Nngara just attacked
Bow 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
And misses totally.

DM Irthos |

Nngara's attack hits the trog. The creatures watery eyes narrow in response. The trog that flanked Byron moves to strike Colyne. The white croc moves forward to attack the fighter as well. Then the beast moves in to flank the slowly surrounded warrior. Colyne manages to take most of the strikes but the beast seems to have his number as a pair of claws tear the life from him and he falls.

Colyne |

Tell me about it....ouch!! Now I cannot stand up without all of them getting a free shot at me :-(
Finding himself on the floor, Colyne sees a large white croc, a trog and the 4 armed beast looming over him. Seeing no way around it, he strikes out at the croc from his prone position.

Nngara Erebrian |

HP: 7/14
Save Fort: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16
As a question, how are you determining who the swarm attacks? According to the summon swarm spell, the summoner has no control over the swarm, thus it should be just as likely to attack the trog or the gator as one of us. It says that it moves to the nearest living creature, which should have been someone attacking Colyne once he went down.
Defensive Casting - Concentrate: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26 <-- DC 17
Cast Burning Hands to include the big trog, the gator, and as many sleeping trogs as possible.
Damage:2d4 ⇒ (4, 3) = 7

DM Irthos |

The swarm was summoned over the stairs. Only the party is anywhere near the stairs. The trogs are well away from the stairs and they did not need to move from where they were sense Byron attacked them first, then Colyne. So the swarm will basically have to kill the whole party or the party would have to be in the midst of the trogs (like byron and colyne) for them to target the trogs. Also due to the swarm you need to make a caster level check with a DC 20+ spell level.

DM Irthos |

Nngara's spell covers a number of enemies as well as allies. The sleeping trogs awaken to burns as well. Colyne falls into the darkness amid flames. One of the trogs gets itself up and throws a javalin at Nngara. Snapjaw moves over to Deslin and attacks. While the beast does the same to flank. Balenar seeing the turn of events feels his anger burning.
"What are you doing! I just put those trogs to sleep to keep them out of the fight. On top of that you nearly kill your comrade."
Balenar's thoughts swing to betrayal. He would be sure to kill the elf if she attempted to run. The enemies numbers rise and the frontliners are down, maybe even dead if not helped quickly.

DM Irthos |

Indeo feels something warm in his pocket. He takes it out to see Scar's former holy symbol, in a burst of light that consumed the whole area it vanishes. Everyone feels energized and restored. The two trogs that had risen are sleeping once more.
Everyone is back to full hp and abilities as if they had rested a full day. Spellcasters have their spell use restored as well but you can not change them. Indeo your up.

Byron Radanavich |

18/18 hp, AC 20/16/18, Total Defense.
Right, since, as far as I am aware, Byron is still adjacent to hostiles...
Byron defensively stands up, keeping a wary eye on the forces arrayed against the party.
Total Defense (standard), and stand-up (move-equivalent).

DM Irthos |

Balenar looking down at the trog before his feet cuts it throat open killing it instantly. Tasskar aims another flame at Nngara tossing it her way. Meanwhile the bat swarm moves over Indeo covering the dwarf in a cloud of fangs and wings. The flames land directly on Nngara causing her to get badly burned.

The swarm should be gone now. This is the third round and the duration is concentration+2 rounds. He cast produce flame 2 rounds ago, the swarm attacked Deslin and then Nngara. Thus, the spell should end at the beginning of his turn this round, before the swarm attacks.
I use Telekinetic Fist on Tasskar.
Attack-Touch: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22
Damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

Nngara Erebrian |

.
Concentration: The spell lasts as long as you concentrate on it. Concentrating to maintain a spell is a standard action that does not provoke attacks of opportunity. Anything that could break your concentration when casting a spell can also break your concentration while you're maintaining one, causing the spell to end. See concentration.
.
You can't cast a spell while concentrating on another one. Some spells last for a short time after you cease concentrating.
.
.
Thus, in order to cast Produce Flame 2 rounds ago, he had to stop concentrating on the Summon Swarm.
.
Also - I hit him with a telekinetic fist two rounds ago.
.

DM Irthos |

Nngara hits the robed trog but it simply shrugs off the blow. While Deslin's arrow fails to find its mark yet again. The white croc moves in for another attack on Colyne. The beast side stepping to flank and bring its own attacks to bare. Between the croc and beast Colyne is torn apart fading into the dark once more.

DM Irthos |

Byron misses the croc or rather his blade bounces off its armor like hide failing to find a soft spot. Tasskar tosses more flames at Nngara while the swarm moves over Deslin. Nngara manages to avoid the flames, Deslin is not so lucky as he gets nibbled on from all sides.
