Thok Burnskin |

Rather than try to fight off the raging Thud for first dibs on the new dog (shudder) or the frog, Thok finishes moving up the ladder and looks for a new way to get to Vorka...hopefully involving rope to climb. Seeing the mast on his deck, Thok gives it a shot...careful not to release the held Shocking grasp.
Hrm...not sure where the dog is, but hope to move up to 6J, up the mast and use the rope to get to Vorka.
Climb Check: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (16) - 1 = 15

DM Iron-Dice |

Thok scurries up the mast like a squirrel. A big green squirrel with burnt edges and a fire hand. He moves into position for his attack.
Trivia;
Humans take stray dogs to the pound. Thud brings the POUND to the dogs.
Bawuu Rawrrrrrrrr *guk*
The pound puppy splatters blood as it flies over the railing to it's swampy grave below.
SpiderThud the Dog Mangler strikes again!
Glop Glop do your thing
Happy dance as you take your swing
Then goes Grimlek, who has no power
The GM will roll, making him hero of the hour.
Or dead.

Glop_Stinktoe |

Glop sees Thok moving up the mast, glop needs to distract Vorka from Thok but Thud seems to have her attention - killing her pets. Dogs for pets - sick goblin, sick, sick goblin. Glop almost feels sorry for Vorka - although not quite.
Glop thinks - what is Glop to ?
Glop takes dog slicer, stands and attacks Vorka. As she attacks she hopes the others will be quick to attack and not let her die.
attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18
Damage 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
I hope this works

Thok Burnskin |

Using the decaying rope as a improptu banister, Thok decides its a fine idea to slide down, hoping to ram a fiery hand down her throat and ending her menace once and for all!
Acrobatics Check to get the aim right:1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
As he careens down at incredible goblinoid speeds, he rears back his hand, and lets forth a mighty shout.
Me hand burn with awesome power! It tell me 'Destroy Vorka'! Take my rage, my sad, my burning power! Burny Hand!"
+1 for Height, +2 for Charge (Do I get another +2 for flanking with Glop?) (I will roll the attack roll once I know if the flanking is true or not).
Thok's calling is clearly not as a spellcaster. Clearly his calling is as an Acrobat. Next Level: Acrobat Rogue!

I like it!

Iron-Dice |

Glop rises from the roof directly behind Vorka. She lifts her dogslicer and lands a mighty cut through her clothing. The slash should cause her great damage, but somehow her leathery skin seem harder that is natural. Hmm. Perhaps that empty potion bottle on the lower deck had some magic mojo juice in it.
Thok is seen arcing through the air on a path straight for Vorka on the topmost deck. Smoke trails swirling behind him. He lines up his attack and . . .
Your charging into a flanked position, so I can see both advantages applying. +1,+2,+2
BTW Vorka is G7, not H7, since she is on the roof. Nothing changes with anyone's attacks.
Grimlek rides up to Thud on toothlizard.
Thud smash good. What you tink me and toofie do?
Thud can possess Grimlek this turn, then Thok, then Glop until he returnes as himself.

DM Iron-Dice |

Touch Attack:1d20+9
Fiery Damage:1d6
Vorka cries out It burns us!
Trisksey scrawny gobber youz iz. Charred and burnt already ey seez. Ey'll shuck off yo'r skin an' makes jerky outa yoz fleshes.Thok is now hanging by one arm, or perhaps his feet, it's hard to tell with him, from a rope attached to part of the the rigging. There's a good ten foot drop to the lower deck, or with a bit of effort he could get onto the same roof as Vorka and Glop. That is, depending on what Vorka does on her turn before that . . .

DM Iron-Dice |

It's my turnsess you rat turd gobbarrian
Vorka belches out
Lord Longtung, restrain my meal! Eieeeeeeeeeeet
From within the upper shack, the thick sticky tongue ropes out to grab Thud.
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
Thud is grabbed but good! His back is against the ladder with the giant tongue squeezing him in place.
The dessan candle still continues to shoot off pretty but deadly sparks randomly around the deck.
Sparks at Thud 1d20 - 4 ⇒ (9) - 4 = 5
Sparks at Grimlek 1d20 - 4 ⇒ (14) - 4 = 10
There still harmless, but have one more round to seek a target.
Meanwhile on the shack roof;
Vorka flashes the shinny blade of a scimitar at Thok. As Thok prepares to be hit he realizes that Vorka's true target is the moldy and rotting rope he clings to.
schwing 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18 CUT! 1d4 ⇒ 2
The rope breaks like thread and Thok falls ten feet to the deck below! Whooomph
Vorka then turns, darts past Glob and climbs with magical skill to the top of the 15 foot stove stack.

Thok Burnskin |

Thok, realizing the rope is about to be cut, decides that falling down and landing on his butt is a bad idea.
Acrobatics Check DC 15 to not take 5 points of falling damage: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24
Landing spry on his feet, Thok glares up at Vorka.
Response post, not actual turn. Go Go Acrobatics!

DM Iron-Dice |

T. Burnskin form Varisia sticks the landing. He's a favored contender for the gold.
If any of you three gobs would like to take a turn as Grimlek and Toothlizard, here's you chance.
The first to post his turn is the one that counts.
I prefer not to run a PC during a major encounter like this. You know. Just in case. Someone may not like the fact that he suddenly turns into a deciple of Vorka and has toothlizard bitting the other gobs. Some people are just that way.
BTW, It's you Gobs turn to go now. Remember, there's no shame in surrendering or running away as sissies. Nope. None at all. Anyone give up?

Thud THUD |

Grimlek rides up to Thud on toothlizard.
Thud smash good. What you tink me and toofie do?
"Frog sound like DOG. Must be BAD. BITE IT!"
Sending Toofie on his way, Grimlek spies the newly cut rope near Vorka and ties up loose ends.casts entangle- DC 14.
Reptile on amphibian violence.

Thud grabs his {FR}og slicer and lets the tongue have it!
+1 Dogslicer 1d20 + 8 - 2 ⇒ (13) + 8 - 2 = 19

rage round 4 of 6.

DM Iron-Dice |

Sending Toofie on his way, Grimlek spies the newly cut rope near Vorka and ties up loose ends.casts entangle- DC 14.
I think druid entangle only effects plants. Also, Vorka is 10 feet above on the shack roof. Please let me know if I am missing something obvious.
Toothlizard stomps up next to the ladder and bites at the giant tongue. Despite his success with Dogsesses and spiders, the mighty toofie is unable to cause damage.
Thud however, breaks through Lord Longtung's defenses and damages his sticky tongue.
Though cut, the giant frog maintains his grip on the mighty SpiderThud.

Glop_Stinktoe |

Attack of Opportunity againist Vorka while running past Glop. Attack with Dog Slicer -
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16
damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Glop then turns and faces Vorka:
Vorka eats Gobs, Vorka likes dogs!
Vorka is green, Vorka is mean, I want Vorka's splean!
Glop attacks with sling:
1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 + 2 = 23
damage: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

DM Iron-Dice |

Glop attacks just a moment too slow for the opportunity to smack on Vorka as she run past.
Switching to her sling, she lets loose a small rock that travels the 15 feet up the stack and lands a welt on Vorka's head. Well done Glop.
I'll eat your splean, little girly gobsess. Eiyeeeeeeeeeeee
Vorka has now been hit twice, but seem unconcerned.

Thok Burnskin |

Vorka not done burning yet! Thok shouts and throws another ray of Elemental Fire into the wicked perversion of all things Goblin-like.
Elemental Ray 2 of 4: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 2
Thok then scurries back, and tries to keep the mast between him and Vorka.
Yup, Plants only. Maybe the boat has vines near Vorka?

DM Iron-Dice |

No You D'nt!
Vorka screeches at Thok
You no cooksez Vorka wit yo hand o' flame mojo. Nosareeeeeeeeeeeeee!
Did'nt ya kno da best tasty bits o' a goblinz iz da palm. Numm Numm. I saves yourz fo a holidayz. Eiteeeeeeeeeet
Turning her thoughts away from Thok recipes, she look down at her closest threat.
Youz a tough l'll gobzen girlezes ya ar'. Need a bit o' tenderizing ma tinks. We start wit deeze. Eaieeeeeeeeeeeeee!
Vorka has a hand full of darts. She lets go having them fall straight down at Glop.
Dart 1 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19 Hit!
Dart 2 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11 Miss . . .
Dart 3 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21 Hit!
Two hit!
Ouches 1d3 + 1d3 ⇒ (3) + (3) = 6
EAIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! Sting the girlz. Make it hurt. She is tender. For desert.
Vorka then grabs one of the BIG booms she keeps propped on the outside of the stack. She uses these to put on shows for her "pets" after her monthly hunts for Goblin flesh. Today she has a more creative use in mind.
Crawling part way across the rigging she places herself above the deck below. BIG boom in hand. Uh O!
Speaking of the deck below;
The desanan candle gives off it last few blasts of sparks before dying out. They travel randomly across the decking.
Thok 1d20 - 4 ⇒ (5) - 4 = 1 Miss . .
Grimlek 1d20 - 4 ⇒ (4) - 4 = 0 Miss . . .
Thud 1d20 - 4 ⇒ (9) - 4 = 5 Miss . . .
It now out of sparks.
The giant tongue on Thud tightens it's grip!
Maintain Grapple 1d20 + 5 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 + 5 = 27
Squeezing damage from tongue 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Vorka says if you surrender, she will kill you one at a time, and each survivor gets a taste of the others before you die.
DEAL or NO DEAL!?
Go gobs go!
No letters were read during the making of this map.
*Bigger Badder MAP*

Thok Burnskin |

Rather than be outdone by this mockery of goblin kind, Thok pulls out his own big boom points it up at the rigging directly under Vorka. Sparks spring forth as he casts his favorite cantrip, and as he lights the fuse he shouts: This be the boom to pierce the heavens! Thok does have the presence of mind to step 5 feet out from directly under Vorka. She still is a scary lady.
Attack Roll vs Rigging under Vorka:1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12

Thok Burnskin |

Thok accepts the Super-Boom and stows it in his robes, staring at the headless Lotslegs. He pauses, and then seizes on the idea he has. He slices off a Leg from LotsLegs, then takes a moment to straighten it. He takes a few more moments, cutting off the rest of the legs and straightening each. Using any bits of sticky web that he can grab with one of the legs, he ties the straightened legs together. It rather resembles a peculiar type of spear, or maybe an evil looking staff. He stands, evil goblin grin as he raises the impromptu staff above his head.
Sorry, forgot to write it down on my sheet.

Thud THUD |

Hey, what kind of tongue is that? they don't injure you, just pull you into the mouth. in other words, tongues don't kill goblins; Teeth kill goblins.
Thud's eyes bulge a bit under the frog's assault and he strains to break out of the nasty tongue! 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16
"big...LIZARD...bite...FROG!" The toof lizard stomps in to eat some froggie legs.
Bite 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22
damage 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
and Grimlek of the big log was momentarily confused by a nice piece of string , but recovers to pull another magic animal from his butt.
A shiny beetle flies up to nibble on the Vorka!
summon natures ally instead. firebeetle.
bite 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
damage 1d4 ⇒ 2

DM Iron-Dice |

Hey, what kind of tongue is that? they don't injure you, just pull you into the mouth. in other words, tongues don't kill goblins; Teeth kill goblins.
The jury finds in favor of the defendant. Since there is 10 feet of space (it has a reach of 15) and a ladder between the teeth and Thud, Lord Longtoung would have advanced to the "PIN" condition. No HP damage, but Thuds AC looses Dex bonus.
Thud; To break the grapple, what modifier are you using? Your CMB shows +2. Frog CMD is 15, so the +2 would fail, and the +4 would succeed.
Toothlizard; He bites into the giant frog with nasty ferocity. Lord Longtong is definitely hurt, but still in the fight!
Attack hit, crit failed
Grimlek; The firebeetle senses freedom and darts right past Vorka only to be eaten by a flying bat twenty minutes later.
no hit, no damage
Glop; You sling flies true, landing another big welt on Vorka. Outchies! she cries.
Bringing total damage to 10, if anyone is counting.
Thok; The superboom is the macdaddy of booms. It's also the same one that Vorka is holding from above. It shoots one big explosive charge, like a bazooka. It also neesd to impact to explode, or travel hundreds of feet first.

DM Iron-Dice |

oops, thanks for the crit assist, Thok. Thud not smart enough to run 'nother goblin...
Lord Iron-dice: Thud still ranging for the extra +2 (rnd 4 of 6)
(+5 str -1 size) = +4 CMB, sorry i didn't specify.
ha, ha. nice end to the shiny beetle :)
The mighty SpiderThud the Barbarian, using strength that no other gob possesses, is able peel back the muscular tongue that would otherwise pin any other common gob, and get loose
That's your standard action. Any move or whatnot?
DM Iron-Dice |

Ok, thud's move:
THud jumps up and down as the BIG BOOM goes OFF!!!
What about having it go off right under her and her making a balance check versus the damage or falling off? just an idea.
This big boom could be a game changer. Remember Vorka has the same skyrocket in her hand as well.
It really needs a solid impact to go off early. Here the crunch for this bad boy;"moving in a straight line with a fly speed of 90 for 1d6 rounds before loudly exploding in an burst of light and sound, dealing 2d6 points of fire damage in a 10-foot burst. If a skyrocket impacts a solid surface or a creature before reaching its maximum range, it detonates prematurely at the point of impact."
I personally think it's a miss and the rocket flies up and goes boom in the sky. Since this showdown could alter the PC's survival rate, I want to check with everyone first.

Thok Burnskin |

Hrm...isn't the rigging considered a tiny object, with an AC of 12? Then it would be a hit, yeah? But the rigging is not a solid surface...therefore, it would simply cut through the rigging (possibly setting it on fire) and causing Vorka to either drop everything she is holding or fall the ten feet...right next to Thok.
How about this solution?

DM Iron-Dice |

Thok's BIG boom screeches forth! Skreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
It flies up hitting the rigging under Vorka! The flexible and molding bundle of ropes takes a mighty impact sending rocket spinning out of control and the rigging bucking and reeling with Vorka on top.
Vorka can be seen gyrating through an ugly gymnastic routine to stay attached to the riggings.
Vorka acrobatics check 1d20 + 10 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 10 + 8 = 20 (+8 for spider climb)
The fire boom slips out of her hand as she maintains her grip on the rigging. It falls to the deck below.
The runaway skyrocket zoom of in loop-de-loops and finally heads . . .
Horizontal degree from north 1d320 ⇒ 183
Vertical lift or drop 1d180 ⇒ 149
The skyrocket explodes on the southern ship railing.
In a weird twist of fate, Thok is effected by his own brilliant plan.
It explodes! 2d6 ⇒ (4, 2) = 6
DC 15 reflex save for 1/2 damage
Vorka and friends turn next . . .

Grimlek Longtrunk |

Biiiiig Booooom. Grimlek says in awe. Toothlizard do something!
Toothlizard looks at Vorka high up on rigging, looks at short stubby arms again like on ladder, looks back at Grimlek, and defecates on the ship.
Grimlek says Sorry Vorka stupid gobber trader, Toothlizard get nervous when ask to climb.
Grimlek pulls out a flask of perfume and throws it at Vorka hoping to hit in eye.
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10

DM Iron-Dice |

Vorka look visibly shaken as her plan for massive multi-goblin boom death from above disappear. Her yellow tinted eyes sear into Thok, then at her skyrocket on the deck. She looks at the rigging, at the boom stash on the mast so far away. She look up. Looks down. Looks left. Looks right. Looks downright uptight.
Then suddenly.
The look of a new plan forms a grin on her hagred features.
Make'a ma drop ma booms. You Licktoad baboons.
Mo tricks does Vorka h've, to put your meat upon 'er slab.
Lord Longtoung, get's a backa. We'ze a have'n bar-b-que ta'nite!
The giant frog familiar releases his tongue from Thud (east side of ladder), and steps five feet to the right as his master commanded.
Vorka's palm flames with natures fire as she locks eyes with Thok.
Young fool... Only now, at the end, do you understand...
Vorka gesters to the skyrocket laying on the deck directly below her.
Your feeble skills are no match for the power of Vorka.
Only now, at the end, do you understand!
She throws the ball of flame to the waiting skyrocket below!
Accuracy to hit BOOM! 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18 IT'S A HIT!!
The skyrocket shoots forward at an angle of 1d360 ⇒ 2
slamming into the railing behind Grimlek!
Skreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
KAH-BOOOOOOOOOOM!!
Damage 2d6 ⇒ (3, 5) = 8
Grimlek and Thok each take 8 BOOM burn bang damage. DC 15 Reflex save for half
Vorka sings softly to herself watching all the carnage
Vorka said . . . n't be rude . . . boom ga off. . . to cook ma food . . .Hehhh hehh heh . . .

Thud THUD |

Reflex save 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16
THud ducks and covers just like he learned at goblin pyro camp and manages to avoid the worst of the blast. He stands back up and looks awed as the tips of his ears smolder. "big...Boom!"
Coming back to himself he goes after the pesky frog with crazed goblin tenacity.
Frog slicer 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24
damage 1d4 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7

DM Iron-Dice |

Reflex save 1d20+2
THud ducks and covers just like he learned at goblin pyro camp and manages to avoid the worst of the blast. He stands back up and looks awed as the tips of his ears smolder. "big...Boom!"
Coming back to himself he goes after the pesky frog with crazed goblin tenacity.
Frog slicer 1d20+8
damage 1d4+6
Great save! Where do you move to? Thud starts on east side of ladder, Lord Longtoug is inside the "wheelhouse" just south of the doorway.
(see map four posts up)
DM Iron-Dice |

1d20+4 and he's down! That's it folks it's over! Vorka with a TKO in the 4th round! He took quite a shot from that explosion Mike...I'm not sure if he can get up from that.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh! Iron-Dice feels your pain. Wishing you good luck with healing and staying alive. Vodka however . . .
Vorka is so delighted she pees herself. Fetid drops of yellow urine drip drip drip onto the decking below as her grim widens. She begins singing out loudOne Licktoad dead. Turn et in'ta stew. Next ol Vorka kilz num'ba tu. Hee hehh cackle cackle

DM Iron-Dice |

Thud THUD wrote:the only place I can go to get the frog is H-15, no? right under Vorka... is it raining?
Oh. My bad. In my mind I've been playing the door behind the ladder at G-14. The door swings inward to the north wall. (it's open). You can go under the ladder and into the room. I made more than one photoshop file, and moved the door on one but not the other. Or something. It's some kind of weird Vorka magic moving door. Very bad. Very confusing. I'll fix it on the next map update.

DM Iron-Dice |

Thud moves fast like a lightning bolt. He's so fast it's hard to tell if he's striking from around the corner, just inside the doorway or deep within the room itself. The one thing that is sure is the sound of his deadly attack. With ear splitting Sliceeeeeee. Shuluuuuuuuuup. POP!
Mr. Toads wilde ride comes to an end. Unlike most classroom dissections, Thuds incision went through the side of the skull and into the shoulder. Greeny yellow frog goo covers the area. Lord Longtung is no more! He's dead. Deceased. In fact, you could say; all together now;
"He croked!"
It had to be said. It's a Goblin rule. I'm sure of it.
Catching his breath Thud looks around. This room is a blood-splattered chamber of horror. Dead rodents, snakes, and birds have been variously nailed, tied, and hung around the walls. At the far end of the room, a large cauldron bubbles over an iron stove set against the aft wall, its stovepipe chimney extending up through the ceiling. A bloody burlap sack sits on the floor next to the stove. The center of the room contains a long, rickety table surrounded by chairs that contain several grisly decorations—a whole family of skeletal goblins, their bones bleached white and bound together by reeds and twine.
Thok and Glop get a turn. Grimlek is disabled (he's at "0" hp, correct), and has the staggered condition, so single move or standard action only. Not both. Unless he's dying. In that case, just lay there and bleed quietly.
